“Playa Park”
Reviewed March 22, 2014

Just returned from a weeks self catering at Playa Park Club and had a very enjoyable holiday, enjoying some fantastic weather.

We emailed ahead and requested a top floor quiet room. On checkin the lady at reception mentioned the email and confirmed we had an apartment as requested, and checked us in quickly and efficiently. We had an apartment at the end of block 4, overlooking the children's play area.

The apartments are clean comfortable and well equipped with kettle toaster and microwave. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sun beds available and no rush in the morning to get one at this time of year.

Nearby there is a commercial centre with a very good supermarket for essentials.

The only thing that would make us think twice about staying here again is the location. We thought the harbour area was lovely and spent most nights eating and drinking around there, and it probably took 30 minutes to walk there and a bit longer to get back! The choice of restaurants is excellent and we never had a bad meal. The start of the main strip is probably 15 minutes walk from the apartments.

We spent a lovely day on the sand dunes and recommend a visit. Just be prepared to see naturists on the beach.

We travelled with Thomas Cook on an Airbus A321 and were very impressed with the plane, which looked fairly new, and arrived early in Fuerteventura and early back in Manchester.

We will definitely return to Corralejo.

we booked this holiday last July for a week away from Scotlands wind n rain in March this year , we arrived after a delayed flight from Glasgow . From the minute we arrived we got a warm welcome from all the staff . we were in room 104 overlooking the pool and above the entertainment lounge , (very noisy from 7pm-11pm) but hey whos laying in their room at they times not us. Meals ! we were all inclusive , Breakfast was great , Lunch Not needed after the Big Breakfast but you seemed to just eat it. (we cut back after first half of the week too much food ;)) . Evening meal plenty on offer . No one would have starved plenty plenty on offer . I would have liked to see the Canarian Potatoes and Mojo sauce on the menu Breakfast , lunch and dinner as I could live on these alone , a bit like Ayrshire Potatoes and my own made up sauce (mayonnaise and chilli mixed up ) . I brought jars back home from the Spar (cheapest store well when your buying in bulk need best offer .) . The All inclusive drinks sorry but horrible it would have been good to have had an option to upgrade on this to Premier drinks , but suppose it saved us drinking too much . The Animation Team worked very hard and tried to include everyone but the language barrier (I think it was all in French ?) did not help , but then again I enjoy watching folk having fun , not always taking part myself . The Bar staff and Dining staff and House cleaning staff were very pleasant and all are a credit to your workforce . We went out a walk every day sunbathing on The Sand Dunes which are for all Nudists and like me swim suit on . the Coast line is Stunning and made us want to venture out everyday .so it was Breakfast , out a walk then Lunch then afternoon at pool then Dinner , walk and then the lounge Bar . Out at night we walked to The different Bars but the 1 we had our time in was Murpheys Irish Bar just of the main strip . only 2 nights as the entertainment in The hotel was good enough to make you stay in the there . We needed a jumper on at night as it was a wee bit chilly but then again in Scotland I would have been wrapped up with lots of layers . We both said we would visit Fuertaventura and this hotel again would be our first choice as the location was good 15 minute walk from everything , and spotless. It was also very well planned out . Thank you so much we had a lovely time and have returned Chilled out and ready to re-enter the RAT RACE back to work on Monday .

Room Tip: room 104 is in the corner overlooking the pool above the bar . on arrival we were tired and seemed d...

First time in Fuerte and enjoyed it a lot. Playa Park Club gives good value for money. People are helpfull, food is good and everything is clean.
Highly recommended !
We do not like club activities in general but it looked ok for them who do.

Just spent two weeks at the wonderful Playa Park. We stayed there last year and were very impressed with the complex, the staff, and the cleanliness standards. We were not disappointed again this year. On arrival we were checked in very quickly and in our self catering apartment within about ten minutes. Situated on an upper floor this time, we had two balconies - one front and one back which meant we could get sun most of the day. The apartment was clean and very comfortable with all you need for a self catering holiday. We only made breakfast and two lunches. The pool area is kept immaculately clean with ample sun beds to go round. The pool or snack bar is excellent, providing food and drinks at very reasonable prices and served by friendly helpful staff. We had four meals in the Restaurant which again is great value for money. The choice, quality, and presentation of the food was excellent and again all the staff very nice and helpful. Our apartment was cleaned 5 days out of 7 and fresh towels each time. The whole experience ensured a great lazy, relaxing holiday - although we could have taken part in the many and varied activities provided by the lively animation team. Thank you to everyone at Playa Park for all your hard work. We hope to see you again in 2015.

Been back home from the playa park one week now and really miss this hotel, from the quickest check in ever till we came home with no complaints .
As always you get what you pay for but with playa park ,the staff ,they gave there all every day always smiling and nothing was too much trouble.
Many thanks to the restaurant manager who would always greet you ,very informal atmosphere with his staff smiling all the time.
Plenty of sun beds ,San Miguel on tap in the bar and restaurant and the only hotel where there is sangria on tap with lunch and dinner that we have been to.
Entertainment team did a wonderfull job even if you did not participate it was very funny to watch some of the games.
As some of the reviews have said ,hyper dino supermarket 10 mins walk away opposite is a British store where you could get most things of home comfort ( except marmite ) . The complex where the hyper dino is on a Saturday there is a flea market on Sunday a craft market well worth the visit .and not forgetting the artist whose work was excellent to watch and prices starting from 10 euros.
Most holidays is what you make it but we enjoyed the playa park very much, does not look that inviting from the outside but what another review has said Dont judge a book by its cover.

This was our first all inclusive holiday and we were not disappointed. The place was lovely, clean, with all the staff being very friendly. The restaurant manager was so obliging and couldn't do enough for you. The food was very nice with good choices and pleasantly displayed. The entertainment team were great fun and got us joining in with darts, pool and more games.

Stayed at this hotel first week in March 14. First impression was good - check in very swift and welcoming. Reception area quite small but clean and bright. Opened door to room - studio apartment, very spacious and clean with plenty of storage space. Plus small kitchen area with two rings, fridge, microwave. Separate bathroom with shower, but no balcony just view onto main road so clothes airer had to be used in the room??? Basic but clean. Quality of food was average for a hotel of this status, but something for everyone. Service in restaurant is very good. A 10 minute walk takes you to the local 'strip' which is a good walk out, full of shops and bars and restaurants. Similarly to the beach. Entertainment is usual - one night parrot show, singer with keyboard etc. Entertainment staff of 4 provide the rest - lots of audience participation!!!! Real downfall is that there is no quiet area to sit and have a drink and a conversation away from the noise of the entertainment and children's' snooker table, games machines etc - everything in one small room. Poolside is good, plenty of sunbeds, two pools one with slide, plus paddling pool area, usual daily entertainment of sports etc. with evening award ceremony. Guests are multi national - predominately French, Spanish, German, Dutch, British. Like all holidays it's what you make it and you get what you pay for at this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view - some rooms in main building on 2nd floor do not have a balcony. Buy your drin...
