There were 19 of us that landed at this hotel in early July for a birthday party.

We were greeted warmly and checked in promptly with rooms next to each other.

The rooms were a great size and very comfortable.

The buffet restaurant was top notch. There were a large number of vegetarians in our group and they were all well catered for.

All of the staff from front desk, to the restaurant to the house keeping staff looked after us so well. We can strongly recommend this for families and large groups.

We were really impressed with the Bahia Real. Very warm welcome on arrival and that set the tone for the rest of the stay. Yes when you first pull up outside you can’t help but notice the large bust development opposite, which is a bit of an eyesore but made zero difference to the rest of our stay, as once you’re in the hotel the surroundings are lavish and the view is all about those from the terraces over the beach, Lobos Island and Lanzarote beyond.

The pool area has a good supply of some particularly large comfy loungers. It is a shame they only heat one pool as the unheated one is larger but less used. Access to the beach, also with plenty of free loungers, windbreaks (and beachside hotel bar) is only a few meters away so it is easy to quickly interchange between beach and pool areas. The beach was quiet and relaxing and the pool is circled by the resort so a warmer sun trap shielded from the wind.

The hotel has one large buffet restaurant (inc for breakfast and dinner on half board) and three other themed restaurants for dinner, with two open each night on rotation. We didn’t try the other restaurants for dinner (a supplement if half board) mainly because the buffet was so good. Our little girl has a peanut allergy and although there were one or two closer calls than we would have liked, the hotel did bend over backwards to accommodate us. Special thanks to the manageress at the buffet who each night collected from a different restaurant a particular brand ice cream we knew to be safe, my daughter was most grateful! There are two separate restaurant bars that open for lunch, one by the pool with ocean views, and the other with even better views at the end of the pier off the beach. Food, choice and service good at both.

The only place to have an evening drink other than the restaurants is the bar in the main foyer next to reception which also has a terrace overlooking the ocean. They do a decent cocktail and it’s quiet and elegant, nice for drink before dinner but would have been nice to have a livelier place for evening drinks too.

Our room was a bit dark and the garden view was near the boundary and not up to much, but good size, well appointed, clean and comfortable. I think next time we might fork out for an ocean view. The spa is epic and the gym was large, clean and with good spec kit.

We’ve rarely used the kids clubs at hotels in the past but this is a great set up right next to the pool, so our six year old could pretty much come and go as she pleased as easy for us to just pop our head in every half hour to check if she wanted to come out. There were video games (with parental permission) but they limited and spent more time doing colouring, activities, in the hotel play park and even a dressed up show for the parents in the hotels little theatre. I salute the three lovely ladies that ran it, they had so much warmth and energy!

We stayed for a one week break and didn’t leave the hotel that much, a 10- 15 min walk to nearest shop or into town and not that much around. I think longer we would have wanted a car to explore a bit.

Most importantly, the service throughout the hotel is exemplary. This is a seriously well ran hotel, they can’t do enough for you and it’s a really nice atmosphere. For a quiet half term family week away, this place was perfect.

It is a great pride and satisfaction for us to see that we are able to meet all of our clients' expectations and whenever possible even surpass these. All of our staff work hard in order to provide a relaxing holiday experience to our guest.
In particular our guest relations take care of customers with special neccesities such as mobility issues, dietary restricitions or allergies, as was the case of your little daughter.
We have passed on your comments to them and they were delighted of the special mention.
Also your comments about our miniclub are highly appreciated by our team of children entertainers. We try to encourage children to engage in creative activities; as studies have proofed these will have positive impact in the development of children. On the other hand we adapt to children with different backgrounds, neccesities and customs, as each will respond different to the same type of stimulations.

In reference to our bar service please be informed that during high season (mainly school holidays period) we also offer special entertainment and beverages in our bar La Bohme with a more lively atmosphere.
Furthermore we can give you good recommendations for going out if you would like to experience the party scene of Corralejo.


Above all we are pleased to know that you have a good memory of your stay here and that you recommend us for a relaxed holiday.

Good service and facilities with great attention to detail. But surrounding area is dead with closed or half built decaying hotels, bars and shops, with a long way to walk on broken pavements to get anywhere with any life or interest. It is a pitty.

Room tip: Pay extra for a sea view it is worth it, or look out over a wasteland of derelict property

We are located in a quiet residential location, although there is an derelict building it should not detract you from the overall beauty of Corralejo and Fuerteventura island alltogether . The town centre can easily be reached walking along seafront with a spectacular panorama if you want to avoid the main street, we do recommend taking this route.
For nightlife you may consult our staff, there is lots of lively bars, you just need to have the right information.

We hope you will return to experience those things you missed out on the island, we would be more than happy to spoil you again with our heartfelt hospitality.

We stayed here for 8 nights over October half term.
Points to note:

Room – we had a junior suite sea view. Good size for family of 4 and definitely a bonus overlooking the beach to get the sunrise in the morning. Good storage space, Beds were comfy (although not sure why we had two singles pressed together? Turn down service every evening. Nice towels and bathrobes. Powerful shower which is always good. Some aspects of the room could have done with a touch up, (eg. Bottom of sofa bed was ripped)..

Food – generally excellent for breakfast and dinner in the buffet restaurant. Lots of choice and good quality as well, indulged far too much. For lunch, went a couple of times to the Las palmeiras which was nice but probably overpriced for what it was. Only bug bear is the coffee (but this is clearly a Spanish issue generally as I have never had a decent cup in Spain), and also the bread is terrible. Beer could have been more varied too, Estrella really does become insipid very quickly!!

Pools: - ok but not very big and the fact the larger pool had no heating it meant that lots of families were crowded round the smaller of the two pools so they could keep an eye on the children. Definitely need to sort out the palm tree / shade issue in this pool area as well, there is far too much shade and only a handful of sunbeds have all day sun.

Beach: - we loved the beach beds but the only downside was that the little ones couldn’t properly paddle out into the water due to the rocks.

Evening entertainment – laughable, but I guess that’s the point?!!

Bar and reception areas – really nice and roomy, always plenty of seats

Location: opposite a derelict building which looks a bit odd but it didn’t really spoil things.

Staff: very courteous and always happy to help. A real credit to the hotel.

Overall – very nice hotel and to be honest I had to really nitpick to find fault. Well worth the money in my opinion because it had pretty much everything we needed for a week’s stay (even with 2-3 days of poor weather). Would definitely come back again.

We are delighted to know that you have felt very comfortable here and that the environment, the facilities but above all the service and our attention to detail have convinced you to consider a possible return visit.

Thank you for the wonderful description of the room you stayed in. Our goal is to provide our guests impeccable, attractive and spacious rooms, and we are very happy to know that you liked yours so much.
Please if your preference is to have king size matress let us know next time, as most rooms are twin that can be converted into double beds.

The exquisite gastronomy is another factor that you have highlighted, certainly we employ only the finest ingredients in the elaboration of our dishes, very much in line with the level of our hotel.
In reference to our beers maybe you refer to our tap beer which in fact is Estrella, however we offer a large variety of bottled beers such as Erdinger, Tropical, Heineken and Bud.
For coffee lovers we recommend having a try at our large coffee selection in our bar El Mirador, as we can customize your coffee to in size and we have many sunbeds you can choose from (sun or shade), we also remind that there is a total of 4 areas where you can sunbathe: the pool, the only adult solarium, the beach and the chillout with balinese beds for hire.
The chillout also has a ladder for your convenience we recommend to use this for bathing at low tide when the rock emerge.

During high season we have entertainment aimed to families with children, usually quite fun with interaction from the public. Our daily evening entertainment in our bar Mirador is aimed at a more adult clientele.
For our team, receiving this type of feedback is cause for joy and pride. No doubt knowing that we have achieved maximum satisfaction is the greatest incentive to continue growing towards excellence.
If something characterizes us is just the familiar and close treatment we have with our customers.

We hope you have the opportunity to return and to be pampered again in every way in this new home of yours in Fuerteventura.

This was a repeat stay for my birthday and without exception all the staff were helpful and polite.
Our room overlooked the pool and was peaceful and relaxing.
Breakfast was plentiful and of a high standard ,meals taken in the las Palmeras were also great.
We were given a complimentary voucher for the coco beach chill out zone and a birthday cake followed later I felt truly pampered.
Well done everyone we would highly recommend this five star hotel and hope to return.
