“yet again another great holiday”
Reviewed October 11, 2010

this is the 3rd time we have stayed here in as many years and yet again had a great time, stayed there from 25th september - 09th october, i have no idea why people put reviews on here saying it is a awefull place, at the end of the day you get what you pay for, people allways complain about not having air con but they all ready know this when you book, you can rent fans from the hotel if you like but you could buy one from the high street for less money so if you would like a fan bear this in mind, also it is not the ritz 5* so you dont pay 5* money to go there, yes the rooms are basic but you are on holiday and dont spend that much time in there anyway, the hotel is in an excelent location within walking distance to everything. The food at the hotel can be a bit hit and miss if im honnest, we went half board this year and we eat out some nights when the food did not look good but on the whole its ok. The entertainment team there allways try to make your stay there better and work really hard to do this and try to get you involved in all the activities but arn't too pushy if you don't wat to get involved. Also the kids world team work very hard and do keep your kids entertained, our 3 year old son loved it, and also joined in with the dizzy and shades shake down every evening.
This year me and my 14 year old daughter tried scuba diving, there is a guy called wesley who comes round to the hotel to see if you want a go and you can try this out in the pool and then go out with them and do it for real in the sea, they charge €60, i would recomend this to anyone it is an amazing day out and the instructors are helpfull and look after you.
There are some really good places to eat out, i would recomend Poco Loco, La Tasca, el cantante (down by the harbour), are just a few.
Went on a buggy tour which can be booked on the main strp near crazy golf priced €49 per buggy not each, for a 4 hour tour, they take you round to the other side of the island and you do see some amazing views of the place, well worth the money.
Oasis park is another good day out However it is a very long day as you get picked up at arround 8am just over the road from the dunas and you dont get back untill around 8pm but its well worth it, the camel safari is a must while there.
overall a good time had by all yet again and have all ready booked to go back in august next year.

my husband ,myself and 17 year old have just got back from corrajelo,we stayed at these apartment's for 1 night !! 1 night to long. they are as bad as the review's say.dirty filthy and very very shabby.the whole complex is a complete dump, and the food no better.when we read these review's before leaving we thought no it could'nt be that bad, thomas cook would'nt allow guest to stay in such a place. oh my they did.we were told that they had been refurbished, were we asked cos it does'nt look much like it us,oh yes it has the rep replied, the reception and the pool !!,not the shabby dirty filthy apartment's.anyway's we trotted off to thomascook office in corrajelo and asked to be moved and hat's off to them they wasted no time, and we were moved to a much much cleaner altogether nicer place, and carried on to enjoy our holiday.soooooo please make sure you read these review's and take them on board. cos i would'nt wish this place on my worst enemy.

Thought the hotel was great with loads to do if you wanted the staff were great Megan Smith,Lee Smith, Scott Bullivant and Claire Ireland. They went to great lengths to make sure everyone had a great time and both myself and my girlfriend throughly enjoyed our stay there. The hotel caters for everyone from families with small children to couples going away.5 minutes from most places i.e beach, aterpark, main strip of restaurants and bars.

Would recommend and think that people staying there will enjoy it.

One slight note would be the maids didn't lock the hotel room door on 2 occassions, but still a fantastic time.

we stayed at the oasis duna from 11th september 2010 until 25th september 2010 and we loved it. i really cant rate it hgh enough. the reps were fantastic meg, lee, scott and claire were always there working so hard and the shows they put on were really good. the apartments were in a really good spot located close to both the centre and the beach.and there was loads of things to do and places to see if you wanted to. we could have stayed for a month and still not got bored. people that slate it should realise that this is a 3 star hotel and for that it was really good, if you moan then please go to a 5 star and pay those prices. we only saw 1 living cockroach though we were expecting to see more, the maids changed the towels every couple of days. and the reception staff we found to be really helpfull. we went with our 3 children aged 18, 15 and 13 and also our friends with their son aged 16 and they all loved it even though they do normally tend to get a bit bored. they loved the pool during the day and wherever we went they always wanted to get back there to have a swim as the pools are really big and there are lots of them. the apartments were really good and as we were on the ground we had a relly big terrace. whilst there my friend had an emergency at home and had to go back early ant thomas cook were fantastic with her especially laura.
place to eat were plentifull and we tried a few differnt ones, the ones we liked were la tasca, poco loco and especially the little italy, also the rock cafe was good and the china town chinese. for breakfat we loved tiffanys and the cherry tree.the food was really reasonable which we were surprised at as the euro semms to have made everywhere really expensive.
all in all if you love to get out and about and have things to do you will love it here and remeber to go to the sand dunes as they are fab.
ignore the bad reviews and make your own mind up. we hope you have a really good time. would we go back yes deffinately.

The resturant really let this hotel down, it was very dated and the food was luke warm, table clothes were not change all week, paper servietes with evening meal, cold plates.
The room wasnt so bad but you could see the doors had been repaired from what looked like brake-ins, was concerned to leave any thing in the room safe. No air conditioning in the room so had to hire 2 fans in order to sleep.
Was on an adult only holiday, would of been good for children as they put us next to the playground area, plenty for kids to do on the site. location was good, found a good pub called "the rock cafe" brilliant entertainment in there.

We booked through Thomas Cook 4 days prior to departure and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived.

I've never been on a package holiday so was't sure what to expect. The resort is in a good loaction at the top of the main strip of bars and restaurants, beach at the bottom, less than 10 mins walk.

There are 3 pools and plenty of sun beds. Rooms are basic but comfortable, need a bit of a paint but fine otherwise. Do get a fan though, as although there is a breeze in the evening it didn't reach our room!

We stayed half board. We hadn't planned on eating in everyday but we did in the end as food was good. My boyfriend enjoyed a fry up every day, while I tucked into freshly made pancakes and fruit etc. For dinner there is always a good salad selection and meat and fish dishes that were great. They also do chips and nugget type things each night for fussy eaters. Good desserts too.

We didn't get involved in the entertainment but there seemed plenty and all involved seemed to be having fun.

Better than I expected for the price paid, would recommend for couples and families alike.
