Just returned from this Hotel on Saturday after 2 weeks of bliss. Don't expect too much from the apartments, they are basic, but very clean; and let's face it, if you want luxurious apartments then what's the point in heading to the sun? The apartment complex is another matter though, if you can find a better pool area than this then please point me in the direction because Dunas is simply fantastic... Soooo many sunbeds (but still people are out reserving them at 6am LOL) The pool bar is lovely with polite friendly staff (special mention to Paulo for his excellent service and freezing the beer glasses) Tennis courts are free, as is the beach volleyball court. Reception staff are friendly but overworked. Wifi is free but frequently down. And not to forget the Thomas Cook entertainment team...... With the GORGEOUS Bryony and Lillia and hilarious Gavin putting on some superb shows in the evening and keeping the whole pool area entertained throughout the day. My only complaint was the price of soft drinks at the pool bar with a large coke costing a massive 3.50 (it is for this reason i shall not return, which saddens me greatly)

We have just returned from oasis dunas, stayed for a 11 nights, and we had an excellent time. 2 adults and 2 children. The apartment was clean and basic but excellent for the price that you paid. Room cleaned 5 days a week and always clean towels and bedding, stayed in a 1 bed apartment with " single beds and a double pull down in the living room. Plenty sunbeds no getting up early to put towels down,3 big pools and a small baby pool, poolside always clean with a life guard around the pool. Entertainment around pool 6 days a week as their day off is a wednesday, always something going on. Night time entertainment excellent, something for everyone, entertainment staff were friendly and kept you entertained all the time. The main entertainers were gavin and bryony who were amazing, always had time for you and just made the holiday what it was EXCELLENT! Resort was very relaxed and friendly, would defintely go back.

We got there in June 2012, the fridge was so full of ice that you could hardly put food in there, some of the food went off because of that, the flat was far away from the reception and the phone that was supposed to communicate you with the reception was unplucked and there was not line connection or plug so it didn't work.
The staff was friendly and helpfully but the facility extremely old and poor, the tv was really small and addionaly you had to pay if you wanted to watch tv and the tv reception was poor and really bad.
There was a horrible sewer smell every morning so if I wanted to go to the balcony I better didn't because I was going to be sick.
The offer unlimited entrance to Baku park, well don't go to that park the charge you for the floaters, there are some free ones but you have to wait for ages to get one, I would go again to this hotel and Baku park no way.
I just can't believe Thomas cook offer holiday to this kind of amenities.

Room Tip: Dont got to electronic shops I got ripped off in one , and people complain a lot about it not only m...

Weve just got back from a week at Oasis Dunas and we weren't dissapointed. As four adult friends on holiday together, we were limited for places that could offer a two bed apartment. This is ultimately why we chose OD.
The apartment was really quite spacious. There were two bedrooms with twin beds in each, plus a double sofa bed & single camp bed in the living room. Both bedrooms had fitted wardrobes & the bathroom and kitchenette were both basic but clean.
The complex itself is great. Plenty of sun-beds around the pools. If you've got kids, there would be lots to keep them entertained. There always seemed to be something going on!!
Our only complaint would be the frequency that the towels were replaced. However, having said that, we did ask reception twice for fresh towels and got them without any problem.
Overall a nice resort & would go again.

We have just returned from the Oasis Duna, we spent 2 weeks here and enjoyed every minute. Everyone was very friendly and the hotel itself was spotless.

The rooms we basic but comfortable, the sofa in longe looked a bit grubby but other than that it was fine.
The kitchen is small but has 2 hobs, toaster, microwave & kettle.
There is a tv but there is a charge for this, 4 euro a day or 21 per week, the safe is 15 euro per week & 10 euro deposit. the tv channels are sky movies for families, cartoon network, disney channel & sky news etc.
Ther maids came everyday except fri & sun and had towels changed twice aweek and bedding once a week but they would leave you clean ones if requested.

The terrace we had faced onto the main road but there wasnt much noise, there was more noise from the evening entertainment which went on until MN & could be heard in the room but you soon get used to it...unless you're out there partying with the entertainment team.

There is loads to do for kids, the thomas cook entertainment team have quizzes, volleyball, competitions etc for most of the day and then into the evening from 8pm- MN.
Our daughter is 3 and asked to go to kids club everyday, they do 11-2 & 3-6 except wed pm & saturday. They also have extra parties on which she loved 8-10pm which meant we could have a nice meal while she was there.

Bryony from the entertainment team was particularly friendly and made the effort to chat, also Sam & steph in kids club are lovely.

The shop within hotel is open til 9.30pm but a bit more expensive than others nearby, we found the spar the cheapest.

Loads of nice places to eat within few mins walk, left out of hotel takes you to a little square with shops, coffee shops and a kids soft play area and also an iceland for british foods.

right out the hotel takes you to the main street about a mile long leading down to harbour. Retro bar nice, casita restaurant good, cannes excellent food gorgeous toasties & omelletes.

Lots of nice places to eat by the harbour but as with any resort they can be a bit pushy to get you in their restaurant.

as we went with thomas cook we had free access to the water park which is literally over the road from hotel, it was ok, good for teenagers but not a very big place, and expensive at 25e per adult if you have to pay.

we enjoyed corralejo but its quite breezy, the first week was quite cool by the pool and fresh at night, definately needed a cardi/coat but the 2nd week was scorching. Fueteventura is known for its breeze and particularly in the north.
The pools were nice and clean but freezing, i refused to go in first week but when it was hot they were lovely for a dip. 4 pools all salt water.

We had ants in our terrace but none in the room, we did have a resident cockroach tho altho only spotted it once during the two weeks.

I'd recommend this hotel and would be happy to return again

Just come back from 2 Weeks at this hotel ...we was a family of 5 3 kids 16,14,& 11 loads to do they never got bored. The Hotel is about a 30 min transfer :) The pools are salt water which to be honest after the 1st day you get used to it..The Entertainment team were ok the 2 girls Michelle and Lillia were very good and always spoke and made people feel welcome unlike the male entertainer Gavin who had a bit of a chip on his shoulder only spoke to select guests (if your face fits your ok) also Thomas Cook should maybe audition as he is not great in entertainment as his singing was enough to send people back to their apartments ....The location of this hotel is Excellent the water park is across the road and the town is around the corner ...Good places to eat ..Retro Bar, Indian called Jaipur,Talk of the town is good for Chippy food and soft drinks are only a euro ,we also liked Fergies ....Best Beach to visit is Olivia beach in the Sand Dunes its just Beautiful and the sea is clear and warm we got a taxi and it was £6 euro each way there is also a beach in town which is ok....The apartments are basic we had no air con just plug in fans but they are clean housekeeping team are nice and friendly one word of advice the hire charges for hairdryers ,irons etc are quite expensive so try and take your own all in all a brilliant holiday !

Room Tip: pool rooms are good

Just back from a 12 night stay at the Oasis Duna. Had lots of mixed reservations about going having read some of the comments on trip advisor. But my sister stayed there last year and said it was great. I have to agree it was. The apartments are basic but very clean in fact I can say I have never had my towels or sheets changed as much whilst on holiday. The apartment was cleaned everyday except Sundays. No sign of any unwanted bugs or pests.

The complex itself is extremely well kept the staff are working day and night cleaning. The pools are spotless and the best thing of all is there is no shortage of sunbeds.

The entertainment team try to do a good job but overall its very dated but the kids enjoyed it and thats the main thing.

Very cheap to eat out although you can get caught out with the price of drinks.

Overall it was the most relaxing holiday I have ever had and whilst I never go back to the same place twice I honestly feel we will return to Oasis Duna.
