Just got back from a weeks stay at this hotel with my g/f and can't really fault any aspect of it. Our room was clean as was the rest of the hotel, the food was decent and the staff are great. It was my first time in Corralejo but my g/f has been sevreal times before and said that the hotel is just as good, if not better, than any other she has stayed in

The pool area was nice and relaxing, which is just what we were after and even though the pools are not heated, they are not as cold as some people make out when getting in and when the temp is pushing 30 degrees it is perfect for cooling off. Regualr activities during the day included pool, table tennis, water volleyball and water polo and you were always encouraged but never hassled to join in

The entertainment on a night was fun, if a little cheesey but didn't take itself too seriously... We were out in the resort centre most nights anyway. Even won a bottle of the local supermaket's finest champagne at the movie quiz!

The food is typical buffet style for breakfast, lunch & dinner and you can also get snacks from the pool bar at certain times of the day so you will never go hungry. The food isn't exactly amazing but good value for what you're paying

Walking to the resort centre takes 20-30 mins from the hotel and it's much better to cut through and walk along the beach rather than the main roads/streets

If you're looking for a quiet, more relaxing holiday then I would definitely recommend this hotel

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Hotel Arena, first impression on arrival was good but after the first day this changed. We arrived late on Saturday evening and went for dinner around 9pm, the menu is buffet style but was cold, which was not a great start. The next day we went to switch on the A/C but no joy, this was reported to reception who said that maintenance would attend to it but after five attempts over a couple of days it still did not work. When we went down to reception AGAIN they said that there was nothing they could do and basically we had to put up with no A/C for the remainder of the holiday which at 30 degrees plus is not good, we decided to make a phone call to the UK to the holiday company and within two hours we were moved to a new room complete with working A/C.
On the plus side the rooms are large and cleanliness all over the complex is exceptional but this is not a 4 star, the pool bar closed for a couple of hours in the afternoon and if you wanted a quiet drink of an evening this was not possible as the only bar opened was the one in the entertainment room which was certainly not quiet, the quality of the food was average if this was supposed to be a four star. All in all we had a lovely holiday in Fuerverventura but will look for another hotel for our next visit...

Excellent holiday for a chilled relaxed week in the sun. The hotel was out standing, the rooms were spotless and were cleaned inside and out every single day. The hotel its self was in immaculate condition, the staff were so friendly constantly refilling your drinks, making sure your service was okay, if you were okay in yourself.

The pool was big enough to enjoy a decent swim or a decent game of volleyball/water polo. The pool water was really cold but due to the heat over there it was freshing to jump in and have a swim. Paulao and mario were fantastic members of staff! Paulao put on a great show on a night and kept people entertained throughout the day. Mario was also excellent has he would remember what drinks you drank and would bring a refill to your table everytime you needed one. On a night the bar service and entertainment was amazing.

The food was also brilliant. Full english breakfast, cereals, fruit and yogurt, tea, coffee and fruit juices on a morning. Pizza, chips, hot dogs, burgers, beef stew, fish, etc etc for dinner and things like pork, chicken curry, chicken in mushroom sauce and goat were just a few of the many options for the evening meal. Drinks were up to standard, the beer tasted just like carlsberg and the wine tasted like echo falls. cocktails were also available on all inclusive these were fab! :D

Walking into town took about 20 minutes which on the way you passed the flinstones bar, a local shop, the police station and a average sized shopping centre and supermarket. Gift shops alcohol and cigarettes were cheap and decent to buy. 1L of smirnoff vodka was 8 english pounds. 200 mayfair cigarettes were 23 euros! On a night the main strip had a decent amount of bars available the only thing we could fault was everything was shut by 11! :(

This hotel is somewhere for couples rather than for families with children. Everyone was so friendly and due to hotel being small but excellent standard everyone spoke to each other and it was like we'd known each other years! I would definatley recommend this hotel to couples who are looking for a cheap but fantasic holiday! Not one thing to fault about the hotel or that staff! Its safe to say we will definately going back later this year! :D

Just come back from a one week stay here with my boyfriend (20 and 23), and i cannot fault this hotel at all. Had a fantastic stay here and staff cannot do enough for you, they go out of their way to ensure your stay is brilliant.
We stayed on a top floor room which was okay we didn't mind not having a view of the pool as we only slept in the room! Good choices of food at meal times, breakfast - cereals, hot food, bacon, egg, toast, sausages, fresh fruit and more. Lunch time - chips, pizza, pasta, rice, breads, salad and vegatables and more. Tea time - Chicken, pizza, chips, pork etc. A good variety of food for everyone as i am a fussy eater! even on nights such as mexican and spanish night they still served foods such as chips and pizza.
Drink were great, good variety of alcohol, soft drinks and hot drinks.
20 minute walk to the local shops, and the strip brilliant walk and a good selection of shops to buy things from and great gift shops at low prices!!
Beach again another 15-20 minute walk, flag beach is gorgeous, stunning views and blue sea! We also visited the sand dunes which was the closest and this was out of this world! Amazing, although not much on it, i.e toilets, drinks etc, was a brilliant morning out.
We also visited the water park for 25 euros for both of us on a 50% off discount it was a great day out with a variety of slides and the rings were included in the price so you didn't have to buy any.
Hotel was always clean, staff were always cleaning something! from early morning till night time! spotless hotel.
Entertainment was good, sometimes cheesy but all part of the holiday fun! becareful not to sit too near the front if you dont want to be pulled on stage! but we didnt care nobody knows you!
Paulo the entertainment man, Alvaro in the bar and Mario at the bar salon are all brilliant and the staff we thought went out of their way at this hotel to make your stay perfect.
We never return to the same hotel or place twice, but i would defo come her again, if your looking for a cheap, quiet holiday then this hotel is for you!

My husband and I have just returned from a week at this hotel, we couldn't fault the hotel, it was spotless the staff couldn't do enough for us and all very friendly & the food was good, tea and coffee with a kettle in all rooms. The rooms were large with a large bathroom, the bed was very big, but very hard and the pillows were about 2" thick, not good!.
The area ....it was half an hour walk to the town there was one shop on the way where you had to get your bottled water from. Not much in the town, a few gift shops which sold the same stuff and some bars, the harbour was nice to sit and have a drink.
The weather was cold and windy, at one point we sat on the sunbeds with our coats on, but that's no ones fault. All in all a great hotel with brilliant staff, But we wont be going back because we didn't like the area. Be warned Fuerteventura means "windy Island" in Spanish. And it was.

Room Tip: The ground floor rooms around the pool are not very private, the room near the night bar is no good...

We were given a room next to the bar on the ground floor which when I explained my husband was recovering from an illness they moved us to a lovely top floor room away from the noise. The food and pool area were lovely and the staff really friendly. The hotel is conveniently situated for the dunes, beaches and ferry to Lanzarote which is a great trip. We spent a very relaxing and enjoyable week here.
