What a great hotel! Modern and very clean. Cleaners were doing a fantastic job. Location could not be better - two steps away from local beach and right in the middle of all attractions - restaurants and bars. Food was very good (we went half board) - plenty of choice. I don't understand why people moan about stuff they didn't like to eat - there is such a big selection, you surely wouldn't be hungry there! Morning pastries and coffee were my favorite :) I must also say that their restaurant service was great - the food platters were never empty, as they always kept on top of everything and kept bringing more, freshly cooked food.

Room Tip: Ask for swimming pool view.

i was in Fuerteventura Corralejo last week and stayed in the Corralejo beach hotel. What a superb location in the centre of Corralejo! we stayed in a comfortable two bed apartment however the main critisim i would have is that our room had no balcony, (i love a balcony when getting ready to go out and relaxing with a beer) and that the air conditioning in the room was not working well (it was mega hot in evenings) and while this is not the hotels fault, they did provide me with a fan it would have been nice to have been a bit cooler. overall I loved the location to everything and would not hesitate to stay again. The staff were friendly and efficient and knowlegable of the local. Make this your destination.

Room Tip: ask for a pool view as some small balconys look on to the street.

spacious rooms, friendly straff. staten here for a week and had absolutely no reason to complain. Food was great and staff very friendly. If only all vacations were like this. We would be happy to return.

I have just returned from a 7 night holiday in Corralejo, Fuerteventura and stayed at the Corralejo Beach Hotel. I have holidayed many times in Corralejo but at other aparthotels . This time my usual accommodation was fully booked so I had to find other accommodation which is centrally located in the town. The Corralejo Beach hotel seemed a good option as I knew where it was on the main street and over the years had watched it being totally refurbished.
However , I was concerned about some of the reports on Trip advisor. Still, I went ahead and booked this hotel and I am very happy that I did.

Reception

On arrival the reception staff were very pleasant and helpful,

Room

The room which we were given was a suite overlooking the pool
On entering the room into a small hall, there was a large bedroom ahead, a large lounge seating/TV area to the right and bathroom to the left.
I have to say that the room was very modern with wooden floors and modern furnishings and to a high standard.
The lounge area had a fridge with freezer compartment inside .
The bathroom was large had a walk-in shower (no bath) power shower with lots of hot water, sink, toilet and bidet and was to a very high standard

Air conditioning throughout both lounge and bedroom area controlled from the hallway area of the room

Junior suites tend to be on the outside of the building facing the roads but with double glazed windows and patio doors and air conditioning I cant see how noise would be a problem. Also all building work on the main street is now finished and is very smart looking. The junior suites looks a good size but without the separate bedroom but look fine

Services

The room was cleaned every day with clean towels each day as I required. I could not fault this service

A great service from reception was the hire of beach towels which we could take to the beach or pool,
and each day handed them in and were replaced with new ones. The charge was 20 euros per towel at the start of the holiday but this is a deposit and fully refunded when you return the towels for the final time. i.e this service is free

Breakfast

Served in the poolside restaurant, can be taken indoors or outdoors. The food overall for breakfast was good with plenty to choose from : fried eggs, scrambled eggs, streaky bacon, hot dog style sausages, various breads/rolls, fruits ,cereals ,cheese, meats, tea coffee juice.
Yes there were a few strange breakfast items such as green beans, chicken nuggets even vegetable spring rolls one day but I found them funny rather than annoying
Overall the breakfast suits a continental taste rather than purely English style but there was always plenty to eat.
Importantly the timekeeping was relaxed from 07.30-10.30 and even those turning up at the last minute was not a problem. The restaurant staff were very friendly, worked very hard to keep the area clean and tidy

Pools/Pool bar
Nice sized pool and children's pool with lifeguard on duty. Clean and not too cold.
Sunbeds around pool are a bit discoloured but comfortable with mattress on top. Always plenty available, no complaint about them.
No evening entertainment but location on main street adjacent to all the entertainment required.

Overall the Hotel was very nice, quiet, suits singles, couples, perhaps not a lot of facilities for children (though there were a few) but adjacent to beach and town centre.
Not a self catering accommodation unless you book a self catering apartment which are on another side of the hotel.

I found many of the negative reports on this Hotel to be unjustified during my stay and it should rank higher on the Tripadvisor table
I would return to this Hotel and also recommend it

Although we liked the position of the hotel, this happened on our first visit to an island we have visited many times since, but never returned to this hotel. Firstly it was due to refurbishment, then finding a better place just along the road, at the Barcelo .
When the beach hotel re-opened we considered the return, we looked, but decided that the standard fell below what we had seen around the corner.

From the outside, looking in, the hotel looked good, but the walls outside showed some unwanted livestock. No we won't go back, but when we were there we did enjoy the site and the surroundings
