Simple – A five star hotel with a five star attitude and approach from check- in to departure you are treated as someone special, a welcomed guest who is important.

Like any 5 star hotel the big things are done well, where this hotels stands out is that they do the little things right also which makes the difference and makes yoiu realise how much better this hotel is than other 5 star holiday hotels.

The first thing you notice is that the staff, are polite, highly skilled and immaculately dressed, they are there to help you 24 – 7.

The hotel itself is clean and very well maintained, the pool area is well proportioned to the number of guests and places to sit and relax are always available, negating the need to “grab my spot” early each morning, you can come down up to 10AM and still get a prime spot.

Bedrooms well sized and equipped and decorated tastefully and cleaned daily by someone who cares.

The food well that is first class! A great variety whether it is breakfast or dinner, freshly prepared and served with a smile.

Would I go back – YES

Would I recommend it – In a heartbeat.

Finally I was lucky to be celebrating my birthday whilst on vacation and the hotel certainly made me feel very special and left me with some wonderful memories.

Room Tip: contact the hotel direct and talk to them.

Stayed a week in May 2011 with my wife (and no kids). Nothing but good feedback: Service, room, pool, beach, food(!), weather, ... Strange RIU system of eating at 18.30 (early) or 20.30 (late), but you get used to it. In mid may period, this hotel was filled with people aged 60+. Overall, I would go back, but not sure i would take children to this hotel though.

HI just spent a wk at this hotel and it was superb, if you want a relaxing holiday this is the one . food excellent and plenty of it, poolside excellent no fighting for sunbeds , pool bar waiter service so no need to move off your bed , bonus, pool towels provided. nothing was too much for the staff ,they were all very helpful. hotel situated on the beach so easy access to sea . there is a bus service to nearest town as the walk is a bit far but taxi only costs about 6 euros so not to dear. there is entertainment every night which is ok . all in all if you want a quiet and relaxing holiday this hotel is for you .we will be returning as we enjoyed it so much

We have just returned from a week staying in this lovely hotel. The location takes some beating if you want a relaxing beach holiday. Our sea view room overlooked an uncrowded beautiful shore of pale sand , turquoise water and frothing waves: absolute bliss. There is an air of old fashioned charm about this hotel and we shared our week with a mixture of different age groups. Food was of a good standard and all the staff warm, kind, efficent and welcoming.
Although the house band were rather poor, it really didn't matter. To be fair several of the visiting acts were quite fun and met with appreciative warmth by many relaxed contented guests.
The pool bar only served cheese and ham toasties in the food line which became more of a joke than anything to complain about.
We will return to this hotel in a heartbeat and are left with some very beautiful memories. For anyone who wants a peaceful little slice of beach heaven- this is your place.

We stayed at the hotel in November 2010 for a week of sun and we did have lovely weather. We have stayed at this hotel 6/7 times in the last few years and keep coming back because it has an excellent location right on the sandy beach and the staff are very friendly and helpful and the food quality good. Again we took a hire car from Avis (desk located in the reception area) for a few days and it made it easy to get into Correlejo to get food for picnics. There is a new shopping complex halfway down the main street which had an excellent Spar shop, clean toilets on the lower floor, cafe and Zara clothes shop to name a few. The non sea view rooms are at the front of the hotel and overlook the car park but you still get an excellent view of the dunes and sea and the sun comes round that side of the hotel in the afternoon. All in all a great hotel for the money.

The hotel is situated on probably one of the best beaches in the world. If you want to stroll the sands and swim in the atlantic this is the place to go. We had a very pleasant stay and really enjoyed the experience. Corralejo town or resort is a drive away so either a car or taxis are necessary as the bus stops at 8.00 p.m. Our comfortable traditional styled room had a good bathroom, mini bar and a nice furnished balcony. The dune view rooms get the sunset in the evening. The raw desert like landscape at this time has its own stark beauty. If one wanted to spend time on their own balcony admiring the beach it is probably worth the upgrade to a seaview. The buffet breakfast is usual for a resort hotel in this part of the world. We sampled the buffet dinner one evening and the table d'hote restaurant on another and they were both good. There is a pleasant bar which looks a bit dated at first but is really very comfortable. The pool area was nice with plenty of good quality sun loungers for a 4* hotels as well as a towel service. My partner tried the spa and was very satisfied with the experience. The public areas in the hotel are nicely furnished and pleasant and all staff who we encountered were courteous and helpful. If you look hard you might find a few frayed edges but overall we found this to be a really relaxing experience on this amazing beach.

The hotel benefits from being close to the beach with access from two different areas. It has 3 pools, 2 of which are supposed to be heated but weren't. The pools themselves were clean and there are plenty of loungers etc. The restaurant was clean, big with plenty of choice. Given the buffet style, the quality was sufficient. Service is good and staff are friendly. In fact, reception upgraded our room to sea view at no additional charge.

Issues I had were that the hotel room was very cold and the temperatures are centrally controlled, which meant we had to wrap up when in the room! Also, the price per night is more akin to 5 star than 4. The hotel is remotely located as other reviews have pointed out but this wasn't an issue for us as weren't interested in exploring the town.
