I go back there every time I visit, usually at least twice in the week, it's the best.
Corralejo doesn't cater much for anyone with refined tastes in food, pile it high cheap and quick is the way in most of the restaurants.
Caracoles is a brilliant exception to this rule, their desserts aren't special but the Swiss-Spanish fusion tapas dishes are fabulous, and it's not that expensive, two hungry surfers struggled to eat more than four, so with a bottle of wine you're looking at around 22-24 Euros per head, and the lovely multilingual Swiss lady who runs it is very charming as well.
They'd make a fortune in a snooty "foody" city, but I hope they don't leave!
