“Lovely holiday”
Reviewed May 28, 2014 via mobile

I felt that I had to write a review after reading negative comments about the complex. We had a lovely holiday with good service in a great location.Even as a fussy eater I found something to eat at mealtimes and the staff were great . especially william and andrea.we had a problem with the shower and it was repaired in a couple of hours.the pool area was great and the cleaners popped every other day to change the towels and clean up.no complaints.would stay there again. Great value for money

I Have recently returned from a one week all-inclusive break at the Alicios Playa, Corralejo, and having read the reviews before arriving I simply cannot understand the negative feeback. Firstly let me point out the Alicios is not a Four or Five star complex, nor is it pretending to be, but what it does offer is excellent value accomodation, in an ideal location ( 2 minutes walk to Corralejo) at below-average prices. Having paid £320 for the Holiday it was fair to say I had my reservations about the hotel before arriving, but those were soon dispelled within hours of checking in. The staff at the hotel are absolutely fantastic, very friendly, and all things considered just cannot do enough for you, this includes the housekeeping staff who always walk around with a smile, and literally brighten te place up.
Catherine and Jose both work very hard, but still manage to interact with Guests, and make you feel welcome at all times! The Manager of the hotel is also great, and allowed us to keep our room until 16:00 as we had a late flight, not to mention spending an hour helping me find the football on my tablet.( Wi-Fi is free)

The Complex and rooms are very clean, adequate, and are simply great value for the price you pay. ( £319 for the complete holiday, all inclusive) The pool area has at least 40 sunbeds, so there is never a shortage, and the bar is conveniently located between the reception, restaurant, and pool.

The Food itself is very good quality, and always offers a varied selection. During the day hot or cold drinks, ice cream and snacks are avaliable.

All in all it was a great, relaxing week away, and at the prices I have already enquired to a return visit next month. Just go with an open mind, enjoy the bar, and you will have a great time!

I went here with three friends for a very reasonable price. We had two twin rooms that the hotel had kindly situated next door to each other so we could easily meet up and even share the front balconies if we wanted. The pool was lovely and big with plenty going on such as water polo and daily weather updates. The room was very nice for a 3* hotel and very spacious with a living room, kitchen area and separate bedroom and bathroom. The fridge was already stocked with a bottle of water for us upon arrival which was a lovely little extra. The staff at the Hotel were amazing. Bar staff always happy and serving what I call 'spanish' measures for the spirits. It was only local spirits but it was still pretty decent. The larger there was amazing, Called Tropical and is really nice! Gary was on the entertainment and he was fantastic at his job. Always going that extra mile for you and I fully recommend going on his volcano walk as the views are amazing.
Over all a great hotel and great staff. The cockroaches aren't nice but they dont enter your room and tbf it is a hot country.

My husband and I have stayed at the dunas alisios twice. Both times were in the winter months, not sure how the bar and restaurant copes in high season as busy enough in the winter. The location is ideal so no need for taxis on a night time. All inclusive is not luxury but for the price paid we were happy and always found something to eat. The staff were lovely, so friendly and helpful. When we returned the second time we contacted the hotel direct and were able to pick our room. The rooms beside the bar and restaurant much better that the ones in what used to be another complex, thats where we were the first time and thought them to be slightly damp. If you are looking for a quick get away to a friendly hotel and lovely town this is ideal. would def return.
