The restaurant has changed premises onto the sea-front, but the quality is still top notch. You will be made to feel special and the menu will give you some difficult decisions to make! Don't worry though, because I have always enjoyed what ever I've chosen, with the taste as good as the presentation. On this visit I chose the duck, which was delightful. The house white was very good too. If you're eating in dovela tonight, you're in for a treat. Enjoy!

The best restaurant in Correlejo, the clams are divine the steaks great - indeed the menu is first class. But I was gutted to find it closed on my recent trip - but it reopens on the beach front in the town in bigger premises soon. So I will have to look forward to my next trip

Corralejo has hundreds of restaurants - more or less with the same food, the same uninspiring ambiente, different mainly in having ocean view or not. Dovela, a little restaurant in the older part of the city is a wonderful exception. Special dishes deliciously prepared, a good wine list and still reasonable prices. Say greetings to Jose if you go there - he is the charming and very attentive owner who adds to the pleasure of dining there.

This is a small place just off the music square and well worth a visit. We had a starters of prawns and goats cheese with ham followed by fish of the day. Both courses were well presented and washed down with a good quality house Rioja. Slightly more expensive than other establishments but worth it.

The standard of cooking and the quality of ingredients are exceptional at this Basque cuisine restaurant - the sirloin of veal with the creamy garlic mousse is a masterful dish. Other menu items such as the carpaccio, clams and entrecote were nearly there too.
Minor quibble perhaps the wines, which were limited in range and a bit overpriced. And if this is a bad thing, the starters were if anything too generous. More sad was the small number of diners which is completely undeserved - it should be full every night!
