we stayed 18 july for 1 week , the villas are very impressive, the layout was great for us as we have a12 year old a 17 year old and a 20 year old who took his girl friend , with the guest rooms opening out to pool area, may not suitable for younger children, pool great ,hot tub takes a while to heat up but we used when we came back at night after dinner, my tip is put it on before you go out its nice and hot when you get back. if breakfast isnt included pay for it as its really good and the restaurant staff are really helpfull. the reception staff try very hard to help with problems . we will be booking for next year as we found it better than a hotel for our family

Room Tip: make sure breakfast is included

We stayed in a deluxe style villa, each villa is 3 bedrooms, 4bathrooms, each bedroom has unlockable sliding doors onto the pool area, we had a child of 6 years and this wasn't a problem, but something worth noting.
The villa was well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, BBQ on roof, private pool and jacuzzi, tv and DVD player, Balinese bed on the roof, and a clever sound system throughout the villa that you can plug your iPod into.
breakfast was excellent in the onsite restaurant, I have to say the best service , food and quality I have ever experienced, I don't think it could be improved upon at all.
the villas are private and generally very quiet.
The bad points, they are not well maintained, our air con broke down every single day, each day we reported this, an engineer came out each day and reset, it worked for 10 mins then broke again, it never worked properly all week.
the air con leaked into bedroom 3 1 night meaning 1 of us had to sleep on the sofa as the bed was damp, though this was fixed quickly the next day.
the pools filter broke down and leaked water all over the driveway, this had to be fixed and the pool re filled. felt like maintaince is a constant battle, I don't mind the odd thing, things do breakdown, but really every single day?? They need to work on this as it's the only thing letting these great villas down.
would definatley go back despite maintaince issues, the villas when they are working are stunning!
please note spa centre is closed at the moment for refurbishment, it's not mentioned anywhere and no one told us till we asked to book some treatments!

Bahiazul Villas and Club is a feast for the eyes from the moment you arrive. The complex is bright and clean with beautifully tended gardens. We visited in May and although there were others staying, we felt most of the time as though we were almost alone on the site. Our Villa was gorgeous - we fell in love with it as soon as the door was opened for us, with stylish decor, the highlight being the outdoor pool and hot tub. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make ourselves a meal if we wanted to, There were three bedrooms, each of them ensuite, and each one overlooking the pool. The bed was comfortable and the villa was cleaned and the bedding was changed halfway through the week that we stayed.
Breakfast was included in our package. It was served in the restuarant where the staff were all pleasant and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was also plentiful, and there was a huge variety of fruit, breads, hot cooked food and pastries. One of the waiters helped us on our first night by using his own phone to call us a taxi to get into town.
Staff in Reception were also very helpful - they helped us with hiring a car and even planned a fantastic route for us so that we could visit some of the spectacular scenery on the island.
We found it easy to order taxis to take us into Corralejo and found them inexpensive and reliable. Car hire was also inexpensive, as was fuel.
There were a couple of things which could have been improved - the pool and hot tub looked so inviting, and I would really have loved to have gone in, but they were far too cold to enjoy fully. The price to heat them was excessive and we decided against it, The pool also had a problem with emptying slightly overnight for the first few nights - this caused a loud noise throughout the night, and although reported daily to Reception, took a few days to sort out.
On the whole, we loved our stay in Bahiazul and would definitely go back. The standard of accomodation, food and service was excellent and I would happily recommend this place to others.

Absolutely stunning villas for a nice relaxing holiday set 2km from the center of corralejo . A car is a must but don't let this put you off as roads are easy driven and there's so much of the island to see. The villas are of a very high standard only down side is there is no oven in some but there are hobs and other cooking equipment but who wants to cook when there are so many fine restaurants in corralejo and one great restaurant on site. The pool and jaccuzi are a joy in the summer sunshine . The villas are sheltered from the well known fuerteventura breeze with high walls which also allows for your own privacy and seclusion . All staff and employees are so helpful and nothing is an effort and are always eager to help with advice and suggestions on things to do or places to go. Overall the villa we stayed in was almost faultless and we had one of our best holidays here and can't wait to get back.

Having just for home from the Bahiazul Villas yesterday, we straight away wanted to write a review to let people know about this fantastic place! My boyfriend and I stayed for 6 nights in a 3 bedroom villa. The cost was brilliant even for 2 of us - if you had the full 6 which the villa sleeps, the price would be even better!

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a gem. We were greeted at reception by the lovely Sven we told us all about the local area and things to do.

The villa itself was very spacious and super clean, with all that you would need for your holiday. The master bedroom has the most amazing 6 headed shower - great after a long day in the sun. We had a private pool and jacuzzi. There is the option to have this heated, but since the weather was so hot it wasn't needed. On the roof was a barbeque which is great to cook on at night. There is also a sun bathing area up there too.

It can get a bit windy on the roof terrace at night, but this is great when the days have been so hot. The island is known for its windsurfing afterall.

A supermarket is just a couple of minutes walk away if you feel like cooking in the villa. Town is about a 30 minute walk away or €5 in a taxi. We loved strolling in to town and then getting a taxi home once it was dark.

On site, you can hire bikes which are a great way to see the town. There is also paddle ball which was a fun way to spend an hour when the day started cooling down.

The best beach is not far away but I wouldn't recommend walking to it when it's no more than €10 in a taxi, or you can get the bus from the town centre.

The area the villas are set in feels very safe and is patrolled at all times by a guard, who is based at the front gate. A special mention should be made to Abraham, one of the guards who was very friendly and a credit to the resort.

Overall, we loved these villas and cannot wait to return, next time with a group of friends.

Amazing find, having just returned from 7 days at this complex.

Arrived very late on a Saturday evening. Big tip contact the resort and ask if they can provide you some supplies in the villa. They had put in water and a bottle of bubbly but desperate for a hot drink and nothing available was a bit disappointing. The villa was amazing, very clean, stunning pool, lots of space.

Sunday the restaurant is closed, so no breakfast and the local supermarket is shut on Sundays. We then walked to the local town (25 min stroll), lovely breakfast at Tiffany's restaurant (recommended, very friendly and great food). Taxi back to the villa was 5 euros to the door, brilliant!

Rest of the week amazing breakfast, really helpful and friendly staff, lovely food, lots of choice and open until 11.00 so almost encompassed lunch.

The resort itself was immaculate, gardeners working hard to keep everywhere pristine. Cleaners and grounds people keeping the pools and gardens clean and tidy.

The villa had a great BBQ on the roof and lots of space on this sun trap.

The negatives for us, that might not bother other people; we had a letter confirming that on our first day someone would arrive at 11.00 to show us how everything worked - no one appeared we wasted some time waiting. There is somewhere an iPod connection, we weren't able to find it that pipes music everywhere inside and out - we shared the enjoyment of music from other villas outside which is not ideal!!! And I imagine when very busy this could be horrendous.

The complex was quiet and lots of villas appeared empty, although private we did have people in neighbouring villas looking over the walls at us at different times - again not very pleasant and not the fault of the complex.

There was some maintenance work being carried out and we heard the familiar drone of an angle grinder but one call to Reception and they confirmed they would sort it and true to their word it stopped.

The villa itself has three bedrooms, two not accessible from the main building 3 bathrooms, a well stocked kitchen, microwave, hob, dishwasher. We took DVDs to watch in the evenings as the complex is isolated, tv is also all in Spanish. I would recommend hiring a car 17 euros a day in the town; we hired bikes from reception on our last day, great fun and covered a huge area in a day but 15 euros each a day so a car would have been cheaper.

Main negative for us, really uncomfortable beds, small double bed in the main room, very hard mattress and very soft pillows. We also chose not to pay the extra for a heated poo, and jacuzzi and although we braved the water it was freezing! The jacuzzi also if being fussy was a bit dirty.

All in all a great place for a week relaxing in the sun. I would recommend but state you will catch up on your sleep on the sun loungers, more comfy than the beds.

My family an I have been going to Fuerteventura for the past 12 year's. We love the place and continue to go every year. We first came across Bahiazul about four years ago. We stayed for a week in February during the mid term just to try the place out. We absolutely loved it. The villa is in immaculate condition, in our weeks stay it was cleaned twice. The pool is beautiful, the hot tub upstairs is unbelievable, the barbecue and bedrooms are all fantastic, I could go on and on. We booked our villa through a man named Pascal, you wont find a more friendly and welcoming person on the whole island. Any questions or problems we had were quickly answered or resolved. Since our first visit in February we have been back to Bahiazul six times, and we don't have a bad word to say about the place. The restaurant in the complex is also worth noting, as well as offering a lovely evening meal there is also a breakfast buffet available which is truly delicious at a cost €9. There is also a Spa, a GYM and a paddle court. I would recommend this place to anyone, it is simply the best place to stay in Fuerteventura. We love the place and will be coming back again in 2014, Thanks for all the great memories.
