“Quite a new park, clean & tidy but not very big”
Reviewed August 22, 2013

We visited this water park in August 2013 with out 16 year old son. We're told the park is quite newly built - and so expected it to be along the size of Siam Water Park in Tenerife, with loads of water rides and slides to enjoy. However, this wasn't the case. Plus points are that it's reasonably priced for a water park, plenty of lockers available to rent (you pay 7 EURO and get 5 back when you return the key), spotlessly clean walkways, water is clean and clear, and what slides there are - are well maintained. There are plenty of rings to grab along the lazy river (fair size with two water falls and various entry and exits along the route), a fair sized childrens pool area with various slides and plenty of clean loungers and sunshade areas for those who like to sunbathe. Negative points were the wave machine in the main pool, as what it produces is a far cry from being a 'wave', and then only a couple of larger flume slides for the bigger kids and adults. Once you've gone around the lazy river a couple of times and then on the 2 water slides, you've done all that's there! It's quite disappointing, as what is there is very good quality and well looked after - but they just haven't put enough in the park for guests to be able to spend a decent amount of time there without either going on the same two slides over and over - or getting bored, hence it doesn't appear to offer good value to money. Preferred the other water park on the island - in Costa Teguise, as although that park was older and the flooring could definately do with a revamp, there were many more rides, slides and pools to enjoy there, and you can spend longer there without getting bored!

“Kids had a great day here”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

My wife and I went with our two daughters aged 8 and 6. We went towards the end of our holiday to try and give the kids a change from the usual days that they had had and they absolutely loved it. We spent almost 4 hours in the park and they would have stayed longer. My kids got access to all the slide areas as they are over 1.20m tall. There are 5 good flumes - 2 use a rubber ring either solo or in a tandem. The 3 flumes without rings are strictly one person at a time. 2 of the flumes are in darkness most of the way. The lifeguards are really strict about the rules but I'd say this is a positive thing and they are very attentive to the children. There is a lazy river style section, a fair sized area with smaller slides, climbing frames, water squirters for kids up to 1.50m and also a simulated beach shore (no sand) with the wave machine coming on every hour.

The park was spotlessly clean, lots of seats/sun loungers and shaded areas. We took our own juice and didn't buy any from the park but it looked reasonable enough - 2 euros for 500ml soft drink 2.50 euros for ice lolly snacks.

I note previous comments about water temperature but I would say the water temperature is similar to sea temperature and the temperature of our villa pool - after the initial chill you get used to it and there were no moans from our kids about it.

My only minor points would be 1. At the splash area for the flumes there should be a system to ensure rubber rings are passed to people waiting on a turn as there are ignorant/selfish people that keep a hold of their ring for repeated shots.

2. A better pricing structure - we were 20 euro for an adult and 14 for a child. That is ok if you're using the full park but if a kid was under 1.20m then they should get discount and my wife was just there for moral support and didn't use any rides so I don't know if a "spectator" entry fee would be possible.

Overall though I would rate very good and we would go back.

“Good day but hidden hazards”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

Went with husband and kids aged 9 and 7, the park is reasonably priced for entrance and the food prices are comparable to restaurants along the beachfront. The lifeguards are strict about height restrictions. The park is laid out in a nice way but they could have a better system when using rings as other parks make you give up your ring when you have used a slide and then wait in an orderly fashion to receive another. My major concern is how slippery certain walk areas become and why there are a set of steps with no obvious grips to get on to slides for children under 150cm in height. Having sat near these and seen at least 10 children slip with no adults close by it in a short space of time it could be a cause of a major injury. The lazy river would be fantastic if people were stopped from barging through without using rings. Kids had a fun day so that's what counted maybe I have been spoilt by experiencing the excellence in the Florida parks.

“Small and unexciting”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

Went with two 13 year olds. Would not recommend. Very small park. Small lazy river, 4 water slides, kids play area and a reasonable wave pool. Smallest and worst water park we have been at in many countries. Strict staff - no sunglasses, no watches or necklaces etc. Not allowed on slides with T-shirts unless they are Lycra, which they sell on site at €17 a go.

Probably okay for small kids, provided they are over 1.2m and can then use the slides. Not worth the effort to get there or the admission charges.

“Great day out but expensive”
Reviewed July 16, 2013 via mobile

Went with my partner, 5yr old and 21 month old and had a really good day despite my 5yr being heart broken about being too small for the big slides, they are really strict with height! Must say though it is expensive for what's there but the kids enjoyed it and that's all that mattered to us
