We stayed here for a week in May. Right from the start we were made to feel welcome by the staff and they were helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

Our room was comfortable, clean and had a lovely sea view. We stayed on a half board basis and the food each evening was varied and restaurant quality which is not always the case with half board.

A lovely stay at a friendly and welcoming hotel, we’d return in a blink.

The hotel is away from towns so having a car is really useful if you want to travel.

Arrived 10.30pm, had a cold meal then retired to our rooms. The next day, concerned about the 2 sets of stairs (no handrails!) we upgraded to suites 165 &166, on 1 level with balconies & pool/sea views, paying €20pn extra. Staff were very friendly & helpful, the food generally excellent, suites, public areas & gardens pristine. When booking, we were impressed that our friend wasn’t charged a premium for solo occupation of her suite, which was identical to ours! We hired a car for 6 days & enjoyed walking along the Greenway to Son Servera and back (approx 1 hr each way).

Room tip: NB. Basic suites on 3 levels have 2 sets of steps but no handrails

We have just returned from this fantastic hotel. The customer service was second to none.
The staff around the hotel were professional and courteous at all times.
This isn’t your average all inclusive hotel-there’s an evening buffet twice a week and the rest of the week is a la Carte-the food standard was far superior to a standard all inclusive and felt like 5* dining all week long. The pool menu was equally as impressive and had an extensive choice. Diana from the restaurant was especially helpful. We have a little girl and Diana went out her way to accommodate her food requirements at all times. As our flight transfer was so early returning home, Diana ensured we had something to eat prior to our departure. She went above and beyond our expectations and is an asset to your team.
We would strongly recommend this hotel. If you’re looking for a peaceful holiday in a stunning location then look no further. The staff made us feel welcome and wanted throughout our stay. Well done Pula Suites for a memorable holiday!

Kind Regards
Paul, Lisa and Autumn

Overall this was probably the most disappointing all inclusive holiday we have ever experienced in particular from a restaurant / food offer perspective, and likely to prevent us from booking any such holiday again, especially at a Sentido hotel.

I have thought about writing a review since our visit in August 2018 but never really felt like it was fair on the management and staff, but my conscience has finally got the better of me and feel it only right to share our experience.

Problem is, where to start..........

1. We were in suite 101 and the Rail on balcony was loose, had significant movement and in our opinion unsafe, in particular with the loss of so many holiday makers recently falling off balconies? Unfortunately nothing could be done to rectify this during our stay, but we hope it was sorted in preparation for 2019? I have a recording of the metal balcony but unable to attach a recording of the movement on here.

2. Shower pressure was low and we had to run around the cubicle to get wet. Granted it was fixed the following day we reported it, but our suite was left open and unlocked for how long we have no idea, fortunately nothing was missing, but totally unacceptable for a member of staff to enter a suite and not secure it afterwards, we can only assume it was the labourer who fixed the shower pressure.

3. Poor evening bar service, depending on nationality, staff focus on the public restaurant rather than others, wait time on average 15-20 minutes for a drink, clearly visible was locals who used the restaurant regularly jumping the queue. On many occasions only one member of staff on duty.

4. We were all inclusive but at times we were made to feel like second class citizens, the fact we had already paid upfront was ignored at times when we should have received the same service!

5. Breakfast, no organisation and on more than one occasion we were left sitting without any attempt to serve us, again other nationalities arrived after us but were served first and on one occasion I had to chase a waiter and ask him to take our order! However when we arrived for breakfast on the following morning (after our feedback was received by the hotel) we were greeted by what we think was the manager and we were served immediately, the waiter was obviously briefed by the manager and he couldn’t do enough for us, this was the same member of staff who had previously ignored us!

6. If your a English Breakfast tea person forget it, we throughout our stay didn’t get water hot enough (at breakfast) to brew the tea bag and enjoy it hot, so we were pleased to have a kettle in the room! Take your own teabags and you will need milk, tea and cream just don’t work!

7. Room Towels changed every day, which is great but there was a letter on arrival about saving the planet and asking we only changed towels when required, every other day we put do not disturb on but bag of towels were dumped in the middle of the steps leading to our suite, this happened everyday! So regardless whether you needed them you got clean towels, which is great but mixed messages within the hotel?

8. Lunch was really good, but very boring after a week, they really need to change it every 7 days?

9. Evening meal... well in a word, on more than one occasion awful! On a la Carte the choice is very limited and they obviously trying to fine dine, it’s not so bad if you like fish but if you don’t eat fish or have an allergy basically it’s take it or leave it, even if there is meat be it white or red, there was nuts, capons, olives or truffle to contend with? This is multi national hotel and they need to review the menu. Menus Attached.

10. The website mentions snacks to 2330 in the bar for those on all inclusive, but there was nothing to advertise that offer or service? Same as ice creams and bar menu, no one tells you what is available and what isn’t and when you ask the staff they didn’t know either. I even asked at reception for a list of what was and what wasn’t available for those on all inclusive and was told he would get something for us, but we never received any list!

Change of occupancy scraping and moving furniture early on a morning with no consideration for the holiday makers, music from the restaurant left on until well after midnight which could be heard from our suite every night, again given there was a letter asking holiday makers to be considerate and try keep noise down between 2300 - 0800?

The pool was good as was sun bed availability and regardless of what time we went to the pool we didn’t struggle as there were a plenty with sufficient umbrellas to keep you in the shade if required. Generally it was quiet around the pool area, there are signs saying no inflatable beds etc in the pool, but that wasn’t policed, which is fine but why have a sign?

The hotel is old, dated and in need of an upgrade, suites are noisy as everything dropped or dragged on the floor can be heard, at all times during the night, so if your a light sleeper don’t expect to grab a lay in!

The suite in general was clean, the cleaning team do a good job maintaining the cleanliness, the air conditioning worked well, the beds were reasonably comfortable and the furniture was of a good clean standard.

I used the gym on most days, most of the equipment is getting on a bit and in my opinion could do with upgrading and given it is not a large area two of the machines were out of order, strange but when I looked through feedback on trip-advisor from over 12 months ago, it was a similar story with machines out of order and not working?

There is two tennis courts, a spa, and obviously a golf course but no information in your room to advertise or promote how you go about using the facilities, which we found bizarre.

Generally most of the staff were helpful in particular the reception team, who were always on hand to help, though after I provided initial feedback a few days after arriving, I received an email suggesting we discussed our points with the General Manager, I emailed the concierge back and copied in (what I thought to be the General Manager) agreeing to meet at a convenient time to discuss the issues and points raised, but was disappointed not to hear back and for him to take up the opportunity until our very last day, when the manager apologised and took on board the comments and points we made, in particular around recipes of the dishes and issues around food allergens. We did receive a 4 day all inclusive voucher for this year, as an apology which was a nice gesture but it is not a not a hotel we plan to visit again, regardless!

The complex and main building was clean, comfortable and of a good standard. It is sat in a great location, the grounds are well kept and if your looking for a peaceful break away from your normal busy working day then it could be ideal for you, but we paid a premium price (nearly £5000) for three of us for 10 nights in this 5 star hotel, and I have to say it was without doubt the worst in many aspects and most of all from a value for money perspective, in addition it is a long way off the 5 star accreditation that is above the door or that we have previously enjoyed when holidaying in Europe. The food in the hotel was; very very disappointing and as a result we were forced into town on several occasions to get a decent evening meal, something we wouldn’t normally do when all inclusive and we would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Just spent a week at the Sentido Pula Suites Golf and Spa. If you are looking for a lively time in Majorca do not read on.. Pula suites are situated around a ten minute drive from Cala Millor or Cala Bona in a quiet countryside setting, I would suggest the majority of guests are attracted to this hotel for the golf. Personally my wife and I are not golfers but took advantage of the lovely walks along the old reclaimed railway line adjacent to the hotel. The staff are extremely pleasant, food good but personally I would not give it an excellent. Buffet very good. Rooms themselves are nicely furnished with nice bathrooms and sitting areas. Dining areas and lounges are pleasant and peaceful areas. I think that any loudness would certainly be fround upon, likewise in the dining room in the evening, men are expected to wear long trousers and ladies being dressed appropriately. The pool area is also very quiet.

I would give a couple of tips to travellers to this hotel. If possible select a upper suite otherwise you could end up with inconsiderate people above moving chairs and walking around in high heels. If you take the all inclusive option please make sure that you understand on arrival what is included and what is not. The mini bar in the room is NOT included (even the water), wine by the glass is included but not a bottle in the dining areas. Selected spirits (some branded) but other not. Otherwise a lovely hotel with quiet ambience and extremely good and attentive staff. Car hire is recommended.
