Having visited this wonderful hotel last year, we decided to return this year. We were not disappointed. Upon arrival at reception, you are made to feel that you are the most special guest. Before we arrived I emailed the hotel to ask if we could have the same room (318) which overlooks the adult pool. They happy obliged. The hotel, rooms and grounds are immaculate and spotlessly clean. It never took more than a few minutes if we contacted room service. We went as a couple, but speaking to other guests with young families they were equally impressed by the facilities for their children. The buffet gives a good choice of food, but the best food is served in the Italian restaurant. If you want a relaxing 5 star hotel, book asap before it's to late.
Thanks again to the staff, you all are amazing.

One of the best hotels we have been to, staff so friendly just returned from our second visit. Will definitely be going back again, fantastic food, beautiful rooms and great location, just far enough out from the slightly busier part of Sa Coma, but still within easy reach.

This was my 3rd visit to Biomar. It really is just perfect. The food is absolutely fabulous, the pools are lovely and the use of the Spa daily is a real treat. Free use of bikes allowed us to use the local cycle paths for 6 miles in each direction. The rooms are immaculate with fantastic bathrooms and fridge in room is so handy for water etc! The manager, Toni, is so friendly and runs a perfect hotel. Will definitely return and highly recommend- five star plus

Firstly, I do not want to give the impression that this is not a lovely place. It is. But it was our 5th visit and some niggles have appeared.
Firstly, my credit card would not go through when we checked in. I had another so paid with that but the receptionist was not really very polite about it. When I called the credit card company they said no funds had been requested by the merchant. It was a pre paid credit card and so I had the issue of getting the pre paid amount transferred into the other credit card. I also lost some money doing this.

However that said, we had a premium room with rooftop pool. Normally we go for the swim up. We wished we had done so this time. The rooftop is virtually unusable. There is little shade due to no umbrellas (obviously this would be a hazard as it gets very windy there). The worst point though is that the pool is freezing. I don’t mean cold and bracing - I mean freezing and unusable. They could easily heat this but I was told it wouldn’t be heated outside winter. This made our premium room worthless. The WiFi does not work on the roof either. Which was a real pain.

There was also a smell in our room of drains which the hotel clearly know about as they have a room spray in the bathroom ceiling which annoyingly hisses periodically all night. To be fair, I’m a light sleeper so it may not bother other people.

The cleaning staff are amazing and the hotel public areas and grounds are spotless.

The staff in general are fabulous. The food is very good on the whole although I struggle a bit as a vegetarian to get anything other than salad or plain pasta. The veggies are all soft and mushy but the choice is plentiful for those that eat meat or fish. Breakfast is very good and the breakfast staff are excellent.
The pool bar is a little over priced - I paid 2.55 euro for a small bottle of still water.

No one used the main pool much either because as with the roof pool, it’s way too cold to use.

Why don’t they put their hand in and feel how cold it is and turn on the heating ? They can see no one is going in due to the temperature. Hotel supplies beach/pool towels which are good quality.

There is a pool table downstairs in reception but the pool cues need replacing and there was no chalk. We use it every time we come but the stuff is tired and needs replacing. Didn’t use spa facilities but have played tennis which is excellent - the racquets and balls are ok and the courts are well kept (clay).

Taxi to and from airport will cost you 180 euros. The main strip is your usual spanish shops and there are a few English bars and a Burger King.
Beach is nice but it gets very full of seaweed but the sea is good for a swim. Sun beds are expensive so take a towel and sit on the end of the beach for free.

There is a fabulous cafe if you walk towards Callor Millor - just near the Cristobal bar called “biggies”. Fab food and service for lunch / coffee and ice creams / cake. Always busy but excellent. Set up more for the Germans but ask for an English menu and they oblige happily.

Just home from a 7 day visit with my wife. First time trying 5 star in Majorca and was disappointed on comparison to other countries. The room was good, we stayed on the 4th floor which led to a roof top terrace with shared pool with another 4 rooms, fortunately we had the terrace to our selfs the majority of time, disappointed aspect here was the pool was freezing which we did not expect for coming out of August and tempt being in the high 20s through the day. I would not wast your money on this as we only used the terrace pool twice in the week. Breakfast were ok and had reasonable selection. Even meals we found were poor in quality, Steaks were tough and almost uncuttable, following night the roast beef was full of fat and unpleasant, potatoes were powdered, Veg was luke warm / cold. To rub salt in the wounds with the distinctly average food is Gents must wear trousers in all the restaurants, so you can not were dress shorts and shoes but you can wear trainers with ripped jeans or jogging bottoms. We found this rule ridiculous and the daily ritual of changing into trousers for the evening meal then returning to room to change back into shorts after when its still 20 odd degrees as extremely tedious. We ended up only eating in the hotel 4 out of the 7 nights. Hotel was clean, staff tried, there are bikes that are accessible for free with a deposit that we liked although for some reason you can't use after 6.30pm due to insurance purposes. The hotel is ok and we made the most of our time here but there is so much more you can get for your money a little further away, hey ho, tried Spain and it was a fail due to the food and the draconian dress code rules that harms the customers experience, and unheated freezing private pools, back to Belek in the Spring for an 8th time.
