Visited here in early June with partner, 6 year old and 9 month old baby.

Check in- very speedy and efficient, reception staff were helpful.

Apartment- recently refurbished to a high standard. Cot was waiting in the room when we arrived. There is no bath but this wasn’t an issue. Had a kettle and microwave. Overall spacious and modern

Pool- plenty of choice for sun beds. Pool a little chilly but fine when you’re in. Pool has a bouncy ball which all the kids loved and a mushroom for little ones. Pool bar staff were very polite and helpful. All inclusive ice creams and fruit available all day. Didn’t eat at the pool bar because food didn’t look too appealing

WiFi- good standard

Food- always find something to eat. Some nights better then others. Like one night there was steak, paella, prawns and other nights more basic food. Always chips. Breakfast is great, lots of choice and omelettes and pancakes always cooked to order.

You can book to eat at other hotels but you have to book on the day you want to eat. There defiantly needs to be a new system for doing this as the cooking system opened at 10am and there was a big queue for very little spaces. It would be better to be able to book a few days in advance.

Entertainment- mini disco for the kids which they all loved- the staff were very friendly and obliging to take photos etc. One night there was balloon animals for the children to take away. Adult entertainment a bit hit and miss. We’ve had a lot better entertainment at other 4* star hotels. It alternated between entertainment from the entertainment team and a professional act: the professional acts were ok. The entertainment did a variety show which was good but the other two nights were quizzes which was a little disorganised.

Less than a week back from a 9 night stay.
A group of 8. And unfortunately are group was struck down also by the vomiting bug.
Pretty annoyed looking at the other reviews of how rampant it was.
No communication from the hotel staff that this was a concern.5 from our group had symptoms and 4 spent 24 hours + vomiting. Luckily we didn’t have to get medical attention, ginger ale, sleep was all they could do.

5 th year in Sa Coma at a Protur hotel. 1st time to Vista Badia.
Hotel itself and rooms are excellent lots of positives.
We had a select room x 2.
The balconies were fab.
Not sure about the two extra bed sizes for an adult in the kitchen area, they are tiny and hard, pushed against the wall. The main bed is very comfortable.
Food and restaurant;
Are group are not fussy eaters we will always find something to devour and the majority of the time we did. The food was definitely better in the other hotel we have stayed in. I do think two chefs should be on the grill area particularly in the morning it was manic. I had a few evenings when the polo was pink (not good).
We found the sitting area more staff canteen than restaurant pretty noisy and open plan.
Staff were generally friendly nothing overly friendly just professional getting on with their undoubtedly hard job.
The pool and seating area is great.
Pool bar also very good.
Major negative the grumpy barman didn’t get his name.
Evening entertainment a couple of tribute acts not bad, much better on the outside stage, inside was to small.

Sadly on reflection we won’t be returning.

Arrived during the night for a 7 night break and we were very pleased with the standard of the room. Clean, modern, lovely bathroom. The hotel has plenty to keep everyone entertained (though we were only able to enjoy a fraction of what was on offer), nice pool area, not too busy, staff friendly, excellent first impressions.

We all enjoyed the food on the first day, however on the second day our 10 year old daughter started vomiting for approx 12 hrs, burning with fever, stomach pain and weak. On the forth day I also started vomiting - again for about 12 hours with the same symptoms (we didn’t fully recover for the remainder of the holiday). Informed reception who didn’t seem very surprised but said there was a bug “going around the area“. Reported to the Tui rep Ashley who was very helpful and completed a report for us. Reception called the on site doctor for us both on the fifth day as we were still suffering from the effects and after a brief 10 minute visit diagnosed us with a stomach virus. He asked us to see him again in the morning for an even quicker check up before presenting a €400 bill. Nice end to the vacation!

I would love to be able to give a positive view of the hotel, however we suffered an illness here which wiped out almost the entire stay. The management do seem to be aware that there is a problem with an illness affecting the hotel and guests - hope this is resolved quickly and no one else has their holiday ruined.

Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Just spent 2 weeks at this hotel with 11 family members ages ranging from 6 years to 72 years.

On arriving the staff at reception are not only very efficient but very polite and friendly.

The food in both the buffet restaurant and the poolside snack bar is both plentiful and tasty even for a very picky 6 year old. Also you can visit the five restaurants once each during your visit. Yes there is a queue at 10am to book in but again reception are very helpful if you have difficulties getting places.

There are plenty of activities to take part in, and in two weeks not everything could be fitted on - a longer stay would have been required.

The entertainment team are always on the go and our children enjoyed themselves so much they have alrady said that they want to go back - thank you Debby & Jonny - they are now also aware of environmental issues after their beach expedition.

The pool bar is always busy but there is never a queue (except at the ice cream freezer included with the AI package - not the usual small cartons) and sunbeds with umbrellas are always available no matter what time of day you go down.

All of the staff are a credit to Protur. Thank you again for a fantastic holiday.

Overall my family and I had a lovely time. Check in was fast and I was impressed with the room. Comfy beds and lovely rain shower. We had the odd ant come in but that was to be expected being on the ground floor.
From staying in a different 4star hotel last year in ibiza I expected the same standard so we were disappointed that the children's entertainment only lasted 30 minutes a night starting at 8.30. Although the kids loved the routine of the songs every night so they even came away learning some German. In addition the buffets were only open for 2 hours at a time and dinner didnt open until 6.30 and my kids are used to eating at 4. We brushed it off as being part of the holiday experience.
I found the breakfast buffet great, lots of choice, lunch was poor, but you had the option of the pool bar. However the food was basically the same. And never really any veggies to choose from. Well, actually there was deep fried broccoli. But not really healthy. I thought my daughter was going to turn into a chicken nugget as there was a lot else she would eat (dont get me wrong she isnt the most adventurous) but I dont think a good healthy variety. As long as you like burger and chips you're fine.

One morning at breakfast a kid on the next table started vomiting violently, then the next day another kid vomiting into a bin by the pool. I put this down to sunstroke but reading other reviews maybe not. Be careful at the cooking station, in the end I stuck to beef as a couple of times tried the chicken and when biting into it realised it was undercooked. Didnt want to risk it.
The pools were lovely and clean. Pretty chilly but that's the time of year and you get used to it once your in. The little toddler pool was good and the big bouncy ball provided my son with hours of entertainment.
I was a bit addicted to the pina coladas, they were more ish but I did venture out the hotel to get a proper one and you could tell the difference.
The hotel is within walking distance of the beach which is lovely and we enjoyed hiring a group bike.
The staff were really friendly and kept your drinks topped up. We liked to tip them a euro or two as they work so hard and such long days. The entertainment crew were nice and tried to get us up and involved if we were by the pool during the day so that broke the day up nicely. Although my biggest bug bare was people leaving their towels all day on the sun loungers and not using them, when you've got small kids you want to sit near them to keep an eye on them and in my opinion its selfish to reserve and not use within a certain time. At one point I just moved one over so I could sit there. Stupid rule. But that's every where you go.

Overall a great stay, although on the day before we left, my husband got very sick (D&V) and we assumed it was because we ate out of the hotel of the night before at the local English bar. But maybe there was a hygiene issue after all. Not a great end of the holiday for him, luckily the kids and I were fine and just had a pool day whilst he stayed in bed.
