“Just fantastic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

Just back from a week at the Protur Sa Coma Playa and it is quite simply a a fantastic hotel. Our room was a pool view, double and got the sun all day. Beautifully clean and tidy, with a fantastic bathroom. There are deluxe rooms that come with sun loungers on the balcony, but generally the two pools seem to offer more than enough beds to cope. Buffet breakfast and dinner has a wide range of options, not just steak and chips, so always a good choice on offer. And the food is good. The option of eating at one of the groups a la carte restaurants is a a nice touch and you should take them up on the offer. We tried La Bodegas and the food/wine was excellent. All in all excellent VFM.

I have just returned from one week with my sister at the Sa Coma Playa Hotel. In keeping with most of the other people we spoke to we too have visited many times before. I think that says it all! The staff are the hotel's biggest asset as they are both friendly and professional at the same time. The rooms were recently reburbished to a high standard. The pool area is big and very clean and should more loungers be required they just seem to appear as the staff are vigilant at all times. The quality and choice of food is consistantly good with something for all tastes. Desserts are fabulous but healthy options are also available I'm sorry to say!
As a couple without children we didn't pick the best week to travel as it was UK half-term and my only suggestion to the hotel would be that they could start the children's entertainment a little earlier and then have a short break before the starting the adult entertainment, thereby giving more room in the bar area.
Well done Sa Coma Playa and see you next year.

We went 1st two weeks in May, it was windy & cold, it started to get warmer by the time we left.
The hotel is one of the best, staff are so friendly, the food was excellent and the presentation was unbelievable. The accomodation was perfect
Apart from the weather it was a lovely holiday and I would strongly recommend it

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the hotel and is just fab! Travelling with a 5 year old we choose a hotel that is of a high standard but also has enough to keep our little girl amused and this certainly ticks all the boxes.

On check-in the staff were friendly and helpful and we had requested a room with a bath which we got and on the ground floor with views over the pool.

The rooms are of a high standard and very contemporary - the hotel was refurbished a few years ago and the standards have definitely been maintained.

The weather wasn't the best, but the bonus of this hotel was the small indoor pool which we used everyday as too cold to use the outside one. Maybe one suggestion would be whether it is feasible to heat the outdoor pool slightly in low-mid season as a shame to see it empty when the weather is not perfect.

The adventure playground, small waterpark and mini golf hit the right note with our little one and a lot of time was spent there. The large 'la reserva' waterpark only opened just before we came home but as Majorca was having slightly unseasonal weather we didn't visit this year, but looked as good as previous years.

The mini disco was great and whilst my little girl didn't go to the children's club in the daytime she was still made very welcome at the evening disco and face painting and even won a medal for her colouring that the children's club entertainer had seen her do every evening!

The daytime entertainment was low key and the evening shows were good and some were excellent.

Food in the restaurant was buffet style with a grill & wok station for freshly cooked meat and fish.

Travelling in half term the hotel was very full and it is the first time we have noticed (normally travel may half term but think the holidays must have been the same as other European holidays this year) but still didn't have to wait for tables at meal times or struggle to find a seat in the lounge for the evening entertainment.

Sa Coma as a resort is quite small - a number of bars, restaurants and shops but you can walk along the seafront promenade to neighbouring resorts which we did several times.

The beach is lovely - clean sand and shallow sea ideal for paddling!

All in all another great holiday at a beautiful hotel. Looking at the neighbouring 4* hotels this one outshines them all and is pushing 4.5* stars. The weather was not the best, but not the fault of the hotel and choosing such a great holiday meant we still had fun things to do!

Well done Protur Sa Coma Playa, another great hotel and all the staff should be commended for their helpful, friendly attitude and making each hotel guest feel welcome. We will definitely be back soon!

We have been staying at this hotel for over 7 years. Each year just improves on the previous year. I am in the motorsport business, and do a lot of travelling all over the world, and get to know good bad and ugly hotels. Protur Sa Coma Playa has left a huge impression. The service and friendliness of the people who work there, goes beyond what is expected. That is what lifts this hotel up to the highest level. The food, rooms, sports facilities, entertainment, and location are simply perfect. I intend to go back again in September, and must record my total satisfaction with absolutely everything, including the very modest rates. There really is not a single thing to complain about. I really thought hard about it.

Room Tip: I personally prefer the rooms overlooking the pool, but if you prefer quiet rooms as at reception.

Just come back from Sa Coma Playa and yet again we were not disappointed. Shared my birthday with hotels' 25th Birthday, lots of celebrations and I was made such a fuss off. Managers and staff were all so friendly. Room was spotless and modern. Food was so good, a really lovely hotel.

We stayed for 7 nights as a family of 4. My husband and I, and our 2 children. Ages, 5 & 1. We had an amazing stay. The room was stunning and very spacious, especially needed with 2 little kids running around.
We had tea and coffee and a kettle in our room which is a godsend. This was replenished daily. Such a good touch. I can not fault the cleanliness as the hotel is spotless. From the rooms to the pool area. Full credit to cleaners.
The manager chej, such a lovely, friendly man. He really is a credit to the hotel. Such a delight. I hope the senior management know how amazing he is at his job.
Only bad thing I guess, is I have put on weight with all the amazing food on offer every night at the buffet. Too good to pass.
We are returning next year. Can't wait.
