Owner description: The Safari-Zoo is an exciting mixture, between a Safari trip and a classic Zoo visit. We offer a lot of different species, like e.g.: Rhinos, Elephant, Giraffe, Tigers, Lions, Antilopes, Reptiles, Birds, and different kind of Monkeys, including and a huge crowd of Baboons living wild in the Safari...

only went because we thought that if we paid to go at least a fraction of the money would go towards the poor animals welfare

This was a small attraction but well worth the visit. We caught the free bus in Sa Coma.On arrival we got on board a land train & were driven through the grounds with many of the animals coming to see what was happening & eat the bread the driver had brought with him providing some great up close photo opportunities. We then watched a big cat show & had a photo taken with Charlie the white tiger cub before wandering around the various enclosures & enjoying a cold beer in the cafe area.
We had a very enjoyable day out &took some great photos.

The actual safari ride was good - as the animals are in an atmosphere you expect. but once you get in to the park I felt really sad for the animals... i was scared of the monkeys lol

The big cats were very subdued [sedated??] and he was hitting them with a can/stick - iv been to lots of animal shows and this just didnt seem right...he made it sound as though it was going to be educational but it wasnt...

All of the other animals in cages didnt seem to have much food and lots had no water [it was a baking hot day] I am not an animal expert but from other zoos and parks iv been to this was the worst...Wish i hadnt went...
