ok, so I read some of the reviews on this site after I had already booked the holiday at Apartments Europa, and I have to admit I was very worried. You can imagine my surprise and delight as we checked in to discover that we had 2 bedrooms instead of 1!!

The interior of the apartments is a bit shabby, but no where near as bad as it had been described in the reviews. Yes the bath had been painted but we took showers instead so that really didn't matter. There are ants but you simply have to ask for a can of ant spray from the bar and they are gone.

If you need extra towels or bedding then again all you have to do is ask.

The pool was very clean and was cleaned while we were there.

The surrounding area is fantastic for shopping and eating. JJ's and Kenna's Irish Bar are the 2 best that we found.

All in all I would recommende Apartments Europa to anyone with kids as it is great for familys. No excess noise and everything closes between 11.30 and midnight. Pleanty of shops for food in the area although don't go to the Spar as it is the most expensive, try to go to the Euroski hypermarket and stock up for your stay.

Fantastic time

Room Tip: Ask for an upstairs apartment for better views and a quieter stay.

We stayed here (family of 4 incl 6yr old and 11yr old) from 5.7.12 until 19.7.12 for under £1500.This was a last minute package holiday. Everything that the other reviewers say is true but hey you get what you pay for! My only real gripe was that the kitchen was unbelievibly lacking in any facilities what so ever. You even had to hire a kettle for 15 euros (you can purchase one from the Eroski supermarket for that price). Our apartment was cleaned twice in the time we were there. And you only had to ask the cleaners for bedding/towels. We ate out alot. Our favourite eatery was Chaplins. Brilliant food at great prices. They caterered brilliantly for our 6yr old who is gluten free. As did most resturants. Would i stay here again? Yes, i would. Sa Coma is beautiful with a most gorgeous beach.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 1st floor, apartment 10. Other folk commented on the barking dogs in this area but...

the europa apartments in sa coma in majorca are rated by a1 travel as three stars,in there dreams maybe.we took our two grandauaghters 5yrs and 7yrs as ai travel recommended it for children.it was filthy and the kids could not even have a bath as it had been painted with white emulsion and every time they ran the water there was sheets of paint floating in it.the shower head is filthy as were the taps and floors. There is no maid service no cleans sheets or towels in a week no kettle oven toaster ,not even a sharp knife to cut veg,old glass plates old chipped cups and extremely uncomfortable beds you are supplied with 1 small white rubbish bag for the week so keep carrier bags for the rubbish. The play park is filthy.Ther are no snacks available and the staff are often asleep behind the bar and you have to wake them up to get served.also the whole place was overrun with ants. The equipment around the pool is old and broken. It is unbelievable that this place is still open for business it should be condemned. The travel agents should check out the places they are selling to unsuspecting tourists. It was not a cheap holiday at all between the misery these apartments caused my family and I and the free for all flight with Ryanair we feel we never want to go abroad again. Please if you want a good holiday do not go to these apartments the only saving grace were the other holidaymakers there as we were all in the same predicament.

Room Tip: no good rooms

We arrived at Europa Apartments on 11th August 2011...the place looked like a dump from the street as soon as we got off the bus, and when we got inside it was even worse!! The reception was like something from a horror movie, and the guy didn't speak a word of English. We got our 'apartment' on the first floor...and were SHOCKED. We were given a twin room when we asked for double, the cupboards were hanging off the walls, everything was rusted, blood on the sheets, the bath was painted to cover rust (ridiculous), the walls had stained on them, the smell was awful, the dogs barked all night. In the morning we asked for a new room - this was even worse!! We eventually got moved to Hotel Sa Coma Playa with the Protour Group, and the difference was unreal! Pure luxury for £200 more...and that was half board too! Do not stay at Europa apartments if you want to enjoy your holiday. Sa Coma itself is lovely with an amazing beach, but not too many nice restaurants.

The Apartments were not as bad as some people said, the decor was a bit dated, the grounds were fine. The swimming pool was freezing and a bit dirty at the bottom.

It was the end of the season and it was very quiet and nothing really to do. I can totally recommend the Irish Bar Shamrock.. Andy, Leon, Jill and the cooks were fab, very welcoming and always willing to help with anything.

Rooms spacious & bright, beds comfy, kitchen fully equipped - would benefit from toaster/kettle. Decor is a little dated but great value for money & clean. Reception staff were full of knowledge. Good location - close to bus station, ten pin bowling, beach & supermarkets. Turn (L) at sports shop for a fantastic chicken kebab. Irish bar okay too. Fruit market on daily, big market on Mondays. Buses every 15 mins to Lloret de Mar.
The pool is cold, free loungers at poolside, grounds are well maintained.
We sunbathed everyday from 10-5, the pool and our balcony were sun traps. Had a great autumn break and would recommend to anyone. Resort was a little quieter than usual due to low season but lots of places still open. Building work adjacent ? new hotel - no work when we were there.
Many thanks to the hard working staff for making it a great holiday.

I went with my husband and 2 daughters( 13....4) the apartments were full of dutch teenagers, could be a bit annoying when trying to swim in the pool with the kids as they were playing with a hard ball most of the time, there was no night time entertainment what so ever in the hotel or any where else we looked, luckily we met one other british couple with kids similiar ages to our own kids so they played together, our room was not cleaned once during our 2 week stay,we had a brush in the room so done what we could ourselves, i asked when we were getting clean towels as 3 towels between 4 of us didn't last long i was told they get changed once a week!!!!!! ours didn't get changed at all........my husband saw the cleaning trolley in the hallway and pinched a hand full, luckily or we would have had the same 3 towels for the full 2 weeks,it was very noisy at night as the surrounding area has numerous pubs and clubs,we didnt get a decent nights sleep in the full 2 weeks....it was very very noisy, and we couldn't sleep with the window open as there was no air conditioning in the rooms,i would not go back here and would never recommend these apartments to anyone with children as there is nothing to entertain them.
