We stayed here for a long, relaxing weekend at the end of January. The actual resort was very quiet and alot of the shops and bars hadn't opened for the season. However we were more than pleased with the hotel in almost every aspect. Following a morning flight we arrived early. The entrance of the hotel is on a busy main road and doesn't look much from the outside, however when you walk in the reception it is modern, clean and bright. Our early arrival was not a problem for the staff, they were efficient and provided a very warm welcome. Our room was large, tastefully decorated and had a living area that lead to the balcony. The balcony was large, with great views over the hotel gardens, that lead to the beach, with even better views over Alcudia bay. A fabulous place to sit and relax with a glass a wine - perfect! The room was kept clean and tidy during our stay. There is plenty of storage space with large wardrobes and draws. There is an inner entrance area and the second door blocks off any noise from the hotel halls, so you can enjoy a good nights, undisturbed sleep. The only draw back for us was the evening meal, which is a buffet service and aimed very much a mainland europe. However the local restuarants were good enough and well priced.

This was our 3rd time to this hotel and again our holiday was very good, its adults only so it is very relaxing around the swimming pool and in the restaurant. The hotel has some great extra touches like giving everyone who arrives a free glass of cava whilst checking-in, free towel service around the swimming pool.

We did however have a few niggles this year but they would not stop us returning. As this is a 4 star hotel they could do with new towels in the rooms as they have become very hard and after a shower it was like drying with sand paper.

We also found it very frustrating around the pool each day when the same people put towels on chairs then leave them there whilst going off to have breakfast and get ready, the hotel does put out notices asking people not to do this but it just gets ignored.

This year the hotel also had a summer buffet night each week which we had mixed feelings about, because it is extremely difficult sitting with strangers who may not speak your language, if you have half-board there is no alternative for anyone who does not want to join in. It also messes up around the swimming pool for 2 days whilst they are getting it organised.

The other thing a little frustrating is on all 3 times we have been to the hotel we have tried to upgrade to a pool or sea view room but always get told this is not possible, so if you book through a travel agent try to upgrade before you go although the hotel did say that this still does not guarantee a good view room it is all done on what rooms are available when you check-in.
We tried before leaving to see if we could book to return next year and pick a room, but they would not let us do it and told us to book through Thomas Cook or the hotel internet site.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location for the beach and the harbour.

From the minute you check in with the very friendly and effecient staff, you will be offered a glass of Champagne, really nice touch after a flight.
Rooms are spotless with plenty of space, bathroom has double basins and bath/shower . Fine big balconys.
Have been returning to this Hotel for about 8 years and have never been disapointed.
Its all about relaxation and peace - great pool and sun loungers with free clean towels every day. Plenty of activities on offer.
It is for adults only - so plenty of peace and tranquility.
Step out the gates and you are on the very safe beach - wonderful location.

The setting is stunning: just a few metres from a gorgeous sweeping sandy beach of powder soft sand. Our room was comfortable if anonymous with a great view over the pool towards the sea. Lovely pool area with lots of comfy sun beds and a (too) delicious buffet breakfast. Very much dominated by Germans which was probably better than being dominated by Brits. My only gripe with the generally outstanding service was the occasional need to queue at reception: we checked in quickly but I saw other guests having to stand and wait with their suitcases for 10 minutes or more while a lone reception staff member took each group of travellers through the rather lengthy check in process. The Pizzeria Don Vito nearby was excellent - unusually Italian for a Mallorcan restaurant.

Room Tip: Worth paying extra to get the sea view

We booked this hotel and paid an extra £392 for a sea view.I e-mailed Thomas Cook after booking and they comfirmed full sea view.On arrival we had a tree view, no sea, complained before unpacking, moved but the view was not much better.Hotel told me Thomas Cook had only pool views so why do they sell sea views? We paid the hotel for an upgrade and we got our sea view.Months of complaining to Thomas Cook about paying twice for the same thing has achieved nothing inspite of sending photos of the view

Room Tip: Contact the hotel direct before arrival
