“Pay for what you get”
Reviewed May 8, 2014

i write this review as a complete un biased reviewer - having stayed in some of the cheapest hostels in the world, to some of the best rated hotels.

A cheap break is what we paid for and it is exactly what received. the complex itself is huge, holding approx 7000 during the peak months. thankfully it was not peak season as i can completely understand some of the disgruntled reviews on here. I do not believe the restaurant is big enough for this demand.

the resort is located in front of a waste treatment plant, there was a distinct strong smell of sulpher throughout the stay. Also the horses outside the reception absolutely stink....even when not there they can still be smelt?!?!

food was average - nothing sparkling, it did what it said it did on the tin. choice was quite limited (least it was served hot). although we went all inclusive we ate out most nights as it was relatively cheap to do so.

Rooms were adequate, they had a bed, a shower and tea making facilities.

one concern i did have was that this was listed as a 4-star resort, i would consider this to be incorrect, i would struggle to give this resort a 3-star rating.at a maximum.

would i stay again? i would say yes but not during peak season and not as an all inclusive guest.

Room Tip: stay away from the Leda buildings (Stalag 13) if you want peace and quiet

Me and my partner have just got back today from a weeks holiday at Bellevue, and can honestly say it's the worst hotel we've both been to and certainly won't be returning. The food was the same every day just pork and fish, even for the snacks it was the same. Only one of the pool bars was open, the room was scruffy, and the entertainment was absolutely rubbish! We was there 7 days and they cleaned our room twice, never changed the bedding and we had to go to reception for clean towels! There is a bar called morocco bar, went in yesterday, sat on a chair and the chair we sat on somebody had done there business on and walked off and left it! The staff in the bar was ignorant, would stand there talking while your stood waiting to get served! Although the reception staff was really friendly! There is a lot more for kids, but in my opinion, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone! Never write reviews but with how much we paid to go I don't want other people making the same mistake and want to make people aware of it! We didn't let it ruin our holiday but it's a real shame as it does look a lovely resort! Pulling up in the coach we thought we'd picked a good one. How very wrong we was!

Based on the cost of our holiday, I wasnt expecting luxury, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel, rooms and facilities were. What spoils it are some of the 'guests' who abuse the facilities! My tips are to avoid the main pools as there is always a quieter one, and try to get to the restaurant early. I also wouldnt go to the hotel in July/August as the restaurant was crowded in April so it must be bad in high season. The downside to going in April was that only one pool bar was open so everyone was using it regardless of which pool you were using, which can be quite a walk when you just want a drink. But we had a great time with the kids at the Karting (it's quite expensive though), the crazy golf, and the pools. The beach is also not too far away along the main road but well worth the walk as the beach is stunning. The boat the runs from the hotel lake to the beach wasnt operating in April. The rooms were simple but very spacious in our 2-bed apartment, and who's looking at a cracked floor tile or a chipped wall tile when you have a panoramic view over Alcudia town. We had a view over the town and mountains rather than the main pool and I'm so pleased we did as it was a much more pleasant view! So overall, you get what you pay for and as long as you dont expect luxury, and you dont be a part of the 'crowd' then you'll have a pleasant stay.

We arrived late after 12.30 at night. We were given a map to go find our apartment As there were different blocks of apartments. It was dark with a few lights but you would not walk this on your own. We stayed b&b, breakfast was ok, but was very cheap elsewhere for full english breakfast. The smell of mould in the apartment was terrible, we complained but the hotel staff did nothing. It rained one day and all the bathrooms were flooded because obviously the roof is in need of repair. Sockets buzzed constantly. We did read reviews but thought everyone should see for themselves. We should not have book this hotel.

Just returned from a 7 night all inclusive break. All in all a very pleasant break.

We arrived Sunday lunchtime and made our way to the restaurant where we heard another English guest berating the staff about the food. We found the food more than adequate for the stay but less than thrilling. The fare would get boring over 14 nights. However, the difference in price between B&B and all inclusive makes it a no brainer. We ate out twice at good local restaurants of which there are plenty.

Our studio apartment had no air conditioning. OK for late April early May but a requirement for me for later holidays. The complex is huge with accommodation blocks of varying quality. We stayed in Neptuno II. A little tired looking but not a hovel. If You're trawling the internet for the best deal You'll see many different prices for ostensibly the same holiday accommodation. I guess this reflect the facilities of the particular accommodation block.

You have to pay for wifi. 24€ for superfast/week/device. We struggled for connection all week with the resort only partially occupied. Arrange your own roaming deal! You have to pay for your room safe. 24€/week.

Be aware that many of the facilities are not open early seaon. The adults bar/karaoke in particular. This meant that the only all inclusive bars were The Show bar and the Morocco bar. Neither place suitable for a quiet drink. All AI drinks served in disposable plastic beakers. For safety reasons? No! Customers at the pay for bar got glass glasses. Unlike a hotel there is no lounge in which to enjoy a nice cup of tea etc etc etc.

The pools, of which there were many, were a little dated but adequate. Leda II offered a pool bar and snack bar; most of the other AI facilities on site were not yet open.

The weather was glorious. A little windy on occasions but certainly felt hotter than the 22C indicated by the weather forecast. The beach, about 15 minutes dawdle, was lovely. The sea is very clear and very shallow. Sill only about 3 foot deep 50 yards out. Took minimal bravery to fully immerse myself!

Transfers are a little tedious especially for early return flight. Up at 6:00 transfer coach at 7:00 for 11:00 flight. The advertised taxi fare outside the apartment is70€. Not sure whether there are extras charged per person + luggage. Might be worth considering for 4 travelling together.

I would go again but not high season. I don't believe the facilities would be adequate when the site is full. One restaurant could not cope with that many people....I think.

Room Tip: Leda I and II blocks are preferable. If you want air conditioning make sure your choice has it. Al...

We arrived on a Monday morning and the staff were very attentive, We soon realised that there was only about 20 people in this huge resort.
The accommodation was adequate if a little dated.
I made the mistake of reading all the reviews after a I booked it, otherwise I may not have booked it.
The food to be honest was nothing special but a very reasonable selection from the buffet at all mealtimes and options changed daily.
by Wednesday the resort was getting busier but still only a small percentage of the accommodations was filled. This became more apparent at mealtimes. Be aware that this is a huge resort and when filled must be a nightmare at mealtimes.
One word of warning, don't pay for the "Fast Broadband", first of all it is not fast and it is very intermittent. Save your money.
There are a lot of complaints of staff by other reviewers but I have to say all the staff were helpful and courteous during our stay.
If you want a cheap peaceful holiday go early or late in the season.

Room Tip: If you want a nights sleep choose a room away from the entertainment section.
