Recommended length of visit: 1-2 hours
Owner description: World famous, are visited since 1898; inside is lake Martel, considered one of the largest underground lakes in the world, where live classical music concerts are performed every day. You can cross the lake on a boat at the end of the concert. BEWARE, there are two caves to visit in Porto Cristo, the largest and more frequently visited are the Caves of Drach. We advise to get tickets online from our web page, cheaper than at the ticket office and you don´t need to print it. Check carefully that you are at the real Cuevas del Drach, not at another caves nearby with confusing road panels, simulating to be Cuevas del Drach. On high season we advise strongly to book online from Cuevas del Drach official web site, with an small discount and ensuring your entry time.

The caves of drach are amazing what more can I say.The atmosphere is a mix of eerie and beautiful as you walk further on down into the caves. There is the opportunity to take photographs without flash( and there are guides who will tell you off for using flash), all round the caves as the main features are lit up.The grand finally of the tour is the spectacular orchestra that plays in the lake at the bottom .If you do visit Majorca add this to your list of places to visit .The only down side to this beautiful place is the steps on the way back up,if you have children in a pram,or elderly people in your party ,this could be a problem .

If you love caves, don't miss this one. We were lucky that we did not have to queue too long but there was a lot of people. I love the 2 minute boat ride at the end of the show

We felt that our visit was expensive for what we got and weren't impressed at having to pay an adult price for our teenage son. There is no doubt that the caves are an amazing spectacle but the visits are very poorly managed. Far too many people are allowed in at each time and the only chance of hearing any sort of information from the guides will be if you are at the very front of the party. The only other means of finding out anything about the history of the caves is from a small leafelt handed to us at the ticket office, no other information is displayed. The walk through the caves was enjoyable although crowded but we must have then spent 30 minutes of our hour visit simply sitting and waiting for hundreds of people to take their seats for the concert. The concert was ok but so much more could have been made of it. We did take the boat ride at the end which was magical but it only lasted a couple of minutes. The endless cries of 'no flash' become annoying throughout our visit and we left feeling a little ripped off and disappointed. We have visited fantastic caves in Australia and France where the tours were so much better organised.

would highly recommend a trip to see the beauty. and wonders of these caves. We booked through our hotel and the trip included a visit to a lovely little harbor and a place that made Majorca pearls.

Went on 19th July to 11am tour.. (went and found our own way on public transport) in my opinion there was too many people allowed in at once to appreciate the surroundings. . U can take pictures but no flash is allowed. . 20mins of the hour tour ia spent waiting for all the people coming into the area where they do the lake concert... quiet dark and not suitable for young children.. also the tour a done in several languages so kids get impatient (kids €7 adults €14)
