Owner description: World famous, are visited since 1898; inside is lake Martel, considered one of the largest underground lakes in the world, where live classical music concerts are performed every day. You can cross the lake on a boat at the end of the concert. BEWARE, there are two caves to visit in Porto Cristo, the largest and more frequently visited are the Caves of Drach. We advise to get tickets online from our web page, the same price than at the ticket office and you don´t need to print it.

Well worth a visit. Stay at the back when entering the caves, leave the crowd go ahead! Once the crowd has gone ahead you can appreciate the size of this cave network. The boat show is fantastic and essential you catch the boat out to get the full experience.

What a huge surprise these caves were. We didn't know what to expect, but we had been to many caves in the U.S. Nothing in the U.S. can come close to the magnificence of these caves. Spectacular columns accentuated by the perfectly positioned lighting throughout. The steps are in great condition and very easy to navigate. The concert performance at the end of the tour is the icing on this already beautiful cake. Definitely the "wow" factor in play here! Even the children were quiet during the performance. This is on our list of places we've been that we are anxious to see again.

These have got to be the most amazing caves anywhere and so beautifully lit. Thought I would be claustrophobic but too awestruck. The finale gave me goosebumps.

Don't bother with a trip - get a local bus.

We went to Porto Cristo on local bus from Calaratjada it takes about one hour because the bus stops quite a few times . We went to shops first ,pretty much the same as all of Majorca then to big beach which is nice to swim in and good to watch the boats etc . The Caves de Drach really are breath taking , beautiful lights , music , and underground lake and the sound is unbelieveable with the echoes of the cave . After this we went on train around Porto Cristo i wouldn`t recommend this though as it just seems to take you around the outskirts with not a lot to look at . However enjoyed overall day .
