“Downhill ?”
Reviewed August 11, 2012

I went to dine with 2 persons at 9.30 pm (with reservation). It took >30 minutes to get some bread and apero ... . We had the salmon tartare with mango sorbet => didn't taste any salmon, only sugar! THE waitress served THE dishes without even looking or even telling wat we got served .... After my last bite THE plate was immediately taken away etc. THE first time we went to eat there It was super ( 3 yards ago) but nog I have THE impression that It had become a fast wine and dine restaurant like there are 13 in à dozen! They will not see me again!

“Remarkable!”
Reviewed June 24, 2012

Went there with my girlfriend, and we both had the "Menu of the week" at € 34,50 pp. This is gourmet food VERY cheap! This included a 3-course-menu, a bottle of wine, water, and coffee. The whole experience was just great! It is a beautiful place, the service was good and efficient, and the food, from the gazpacho on the house, via the curry-lemongrass soup/ salmon-tartar-melon starters, the amazing iberian pork shoulder and the dessert was perfect. The wine was not more than quite ok, but what to expect for this price. Probably its a tip to pay some extra to have a better one, this meal really deserves it!

“Amazing food: a restaurant worth travelling to Porto Colom.”
Reviewed June 6, 2012

Like the fishing village itself, this is a hidden gem on Mallorca. If you are looking for a Gourmet restaurant with simply amazing food (the tuna tartar with fresh ginger and mango sorbet as a starter, for example, was out of this world), excellent technique (meats and fish were cooked to perfection), attentive service, and a great location (overlooking the harbour) - this is your place. Cost is very reasonable indeed for the quality of food - unless you indulge too much in their impressive wine list (we were five and dined very well indeed for Euro 40 p.p., with a mix of two excellent ‘set menus’, and a-la-carte orders).
Note 1: do call ahead if you want a table with a view, on the glass-fronted terrace (with heating lamps, so it is nice there even in the evening).
Note 2: parking outside the restaurant is easy and free.
Note 3: the location is shown wrongly on google maps (it is about 200m South of where it is marked at present; at 39.421699,3.261576).
