Lovely quirkey nonrunofthemill, staff helpful and friendly, rooms were lovely and bed very comfy would reccommend to couples of all ages. Slight difficulty if any mobility issues as it is up a little step incline or else a flight of steps. Basic breakfast but thats good enough for us.

Not sure where to start gushing about this truly wonderful hotel.. Possibly the nicest one we have ever stayed in over many holidays.
On arrival we were welcomed at reception by the charming Lucca, who greeted us whenever he saw us. The attentive, caring staff are casually dressed and nothing is too much trouble which made our 8 night stay perfect - a relaxed, unstuffy atmosphere.
Once we had taken in the marvelous quirky artifacts - many from the original 1950s hotel - and surroundings, we settled into a comfortable exceptionally clean uncluttered room. No unnecessary bits and bobs - Hairdryers and irons from the reception. Very efficient newly installed climate control. Lots of storage with a balcony. We preferred a pool view so asked if it was possible to change and Lucca arranged this for us with no fuss and bother the next morning. Clean thick towels and beds made daily.
Breakfast has the most varied selection of any buffet we have ever had catering for all - and fried, boiled and scrambled eggs made freshly as needed every day as was the delicious orange juice!
The whole feel of this small hotel, although 'Vintage', is modern and up to date with surprises that make you smile around every corner.
The delightful peaceful pool area and garden terrace have enough quality wooden sunloungers, hammocks etc for all with a free pool towel service into the bargain. Pool bar service with lunches all day but no evening meal available. More suited to singles and couples. who are after some tranquility.
Location is ideal, as just up from the main vibrant boulevard with it's many bars and restaurants (and unlike another reviewer, did not see one strip bar or anything similar!) so keeping the noise to a minimum. A short 3 minute walk to the beach where there is a unpaid stretch to put up your own sunlounger, rentable by the hour -2 euro - much cheaper than the set up ones.
Don't be put off by the 3 star rating as it is soo much more than that - this is an experience not to be missed!

Room tip: Rooms overlooking the pool are quieter but only have the sun til around 2pm.

Me and my girlfriend very recently stay at the hotel for a week and found the whole experience amazing. The hotel was beautiful at every angle you look at it and the rooms were clean. Most importantly the staff were friendly and very helpful. A massive thank you to Luca, he was so helpful and friendly, if we ever needed anything Luca was there to help. Also to Lewis, he introduced us to a local beer, very friendly, chatty and would of bring you a ice cold drink to your seat.
The only thing that I could say about the hotel was the breakfast is just continental because of the mainly German guests, I would of liked a little diversity for British guests with and option of a English cooked breakfast.
But the money was well spent on this hotel.

I had a 5 night break at the Bella Colina in August 2018. The hotel is decorated beautifully with lots of quirky furniture/ pictures / pieces of art. I travelled solo and had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the road. It wasn't noisy at night as long as the windows were closed (but the air conditioning was essential!). Everywhere was spotlessly clean, including the gorgeous pool area. Breakfast was very good. Every member of staff was welcoming and cheerful. I loved it here and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

We’re just home from a 10 day stay at Bella Colina. Overall, we had a great holiday. Prior to arriving I had emailed to say we would be very late in checking in but was told that would not be a problem as 24 hr reception. However, when we did arrive at 1am the front door was locked and we spent 10 minutes knocking on the door before getting in. The room we were shown to, whilst clean and bright was at the end of the building with no outlook or balcony. The doors to a path were not particularly secure and so we asked for a move and Sebastian, with no hassle, offered us an alternative overlooking the pool. Ideal!
The continental breakfast on offer each morning offered plenty of variety and choice. What struck us initially about the hotel was how quiet and relaxing it was. There were times by the pool when there was no noise at all. There were some children in the hotel but really little facilities for them. Most days families headed to the beach.
All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful - especially Lewis who managed the little bar most days. Drinks were very reasonably priced.
Peguera, as a resort, was bigger than we had imagined. It has a lovely beach front, lots of shops and great restaurants. We will probably visit again and would return to Bella Colina as long as it stays the same - simple, quiet, quirky, relaxing.
