“BEWARE OF PERVERTS AND BATS”
Reviewed November 20, 2013

stayed September 2013 with friend both of us late 40s early 50s....HUGE MISTAKE !! hated first room so asked to be moved, that was a big mistake as all staff hated us after that.. we went and brought our own cleaning stuff and cleaned our apartment so we could actually unpack..
our balcony backed onto a road facing a very nice hotel ,where we wished we had stayed so we use to sit on our balcony a lot, we got attacked by bats on a night time and one afternoon minding our own business we witnessed a man masturbating himself in front of us, my friend quickly phoned down to reception for police to be called... waited and waited for them to arrive but they never did... when we asked at reception why they hadn't come, they shrugged shoulders and laughed at us... so be warned if u need help from anyone there.. nobody cares. stay well away

the hotel is called trh palmanova when really it should be called KINDERGARDEN . you had to sleep when you could because of the level of noise coming from the other rooms above and around our room . we ask for a pool view and got the view of a brick wall . if you want to sit outside on the balcony you had to put up with people shouting over the fence to people in the rooms above ours . going along the corridors to go out they was VOMIT on the floor outside peoples rooms and you had to step over the food along the corridors what people had thrown about . we went half board which we dont not RECOMMEND for english people as they nothing to tell you what it is and you do not know what your eating and they food is not cooked properly . we confronted the hotel manager along with the other english people what was staying there and they basically said if you dont like it you know where the door is . some of the staff on the reception desk are not very helpfull at all if you need anything they dont want to know and all they ever tell is to come back in the morning no matter what time of day you go to see them . NOT SUITABLE FOR DISABLED PEOPLE as corridors are very narrow and is half way up the steep hill

Room Tip: no quite rooms

Have stayed here alot over the years and have always given great reviews as this place is cheap, in a great location and great for lads and girls on a quick break. Rooms are very basic but ok, pool area is really nice but very loud with music and hotel in all is good. It is up a massive hill so if you dont like to or cant walk this is a no go. However this trip in September our group had so many things stolen. If you arrive early they ask you to leave your bags in a luggage room, we had things stolen from our bags in the room. The hotel reception does not look after the key or keep an eye on the luggage room. I was down in reception one night and a couple of girls had a few bits stolen from their actual room, the guy on reception just wrote it on a list that was about 6 pages long of things stolen. I would still go back however just be really careful with any thing expensive and make sure you have a lock for your case. They offer a safe make sure you use it all times.

Room Tip: Dont get a room above reception as people can walk around the roof area on to your balcony. Rooms on...

A group of us stayed here from the end of april untill the second week in may the low price was what caught our eye for a two week stay on arrival we werent greeted with smiles and a couple were just checking out and warned us about housekeeping stealing from them so from the begging we left nothing valuable in our rooms to risk being stolen , cleanliness is barely adequate a swept floor and a changed bin and maybe two fresh towels , room doors are flimsy so if drunk people are banging on the door youre on edge that they can just break into your room , safety wise there was no security during the time we stayed other than those things the location was great , the pool area had music all day great to chill out and most days a dj from bcn would come and play live with dancers too great to put you in a party mood , beach is beautifull and practically across the road less than a minuites walk to the strip will warn if you are a male going here especially prostitutes hang out on the hill shops next door didnt eat in the hotel so cant speak for that overall magaluf is a place you have to be carefull in , seeing rowdy drunk trouble makers is something you cant avoid but for the most part people are friendly and just up for a bit of a mad party holiday in the sun , i would not return to this hotel peak season its just too dangerous but would consider off peak season again just to have somewhere to put our heads down for the prices

this was what we needed for somewhere to stay and lay are heads as we was here for a good holiday stayed here for 10nights with partner , dad , nephew had a 1 bedroom apartment with 2 beds in living room with kitchen , tv with english channels for free , big balcony but over looking another hotel that was very loud as it was a allinclusive hotel , shower was amazing , cleaners came 5 out of the 7day and didnt change sheets only made beds , and changed towels twice a week, the lift is very loud and woke me and my partner up as are room was right next to lift , the pool is nice but tastes of salt like swimming in the sea , music is played around pool all day which is good if you like that , this is a younger peoples hotel i wouldnt bring my boys to stay here but there was children there when i was there and there is 2 kids pools and a playground and tennis courts and football pitch and a games room , there are safes in the reception that you have the key to but you do have to pay and they say thats its safer than room as there is always people in reception , the bug bare we had was the flipping hill the hotel is on and getting up it after you have eaten or drunk is HARD and FUN sometimes , 200 meters to the beach but there is 100 stairs to walk down and back up again and then the hill its hard work but a little work out , wouldnt stay here again cause of the lack of sleep i had due to the noise , but worth the money paid £180 quid for 10nights with flights , baggage , transfers from 13th sep but this time of year is normally quiet but this was are 4th time that exact time of year and it was lively and lots more people than normal , weather was in 20's most days , beach is lovely , katmandu is a place to go for day trip out to play the mini golf and the fun house and extra's , and fantasia in palma nova is great too , well worth it !!!!

Room Tip: ask for a room away from lift
