“Good Hotel”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

We stayed at this hotel from the 7th May to the 14th May 2013. The hotel was very clean and there was a good variety of food in the buffet. Every member of staff we met were polite, friendly and helpful, they even removed our all inclusive wristbands and then replaced them for free later on as we were attending a family wedding on Saturday 11th and we didn't want them seen in the wedding photos. Our son did not go to the Kid's Club as he enjoyed playing in the children's pool with all the slides too much but the staff that ran it seemed very nice when we met them at the children's disco. There was a good variety of evening entertainment, including flamenco and magic shows and reptile and bird of prey talks where you could see the animals up close. There were also many day time activities going on in the hotel for those that felt like participating. The hotel is close enough that it is only a short walk to both Magaluf and Palma Nova but the area is nice and quiet at night.

There was a Stag party whose drunken behavior was out of order on the Friday, however the hotel dealt with this and the rest of the weekend was very enjoyable.

We will definitely be going back next time we go to Majorca.

Stayed here with my partner and 3 year old daughter at beginning of May for 10 days. Lovely clean hotel. Staff were friendly. Maid service excellent. Were in everyday with clean towels and cleaned room. 3 pools to choose from.
Poolside activities during the day were good. Water polo, darts etc. The hotel's childrens entertainers were brilliant. My daughter loved the kids disco. Hotel had a flamenco night, birds of prey and reptile night.
Food was of an ok standard. Selection of bread/rolls cooked breakfasts/fruit/yoghurt for breakfasts. Lunches were hamburgers, hotdogs, soup, pasta, chips, etc. Dinners consisted of curry, steak & kidney pie, baked aubergines, pasta Bolognese, fish, seafood, pork, lamb, chips, potatoes, veg. Each night a chef is out in dining room carving roast beef one night, next night pork. Also have selection of cakes/jellies/fruit/ice cream for desserts.
The only major complaint I had was the large groups of stag parties that arrived on 10th May. Very loud and disruptive, jumping into swimming pool naked!!!!! Not what I expected to see in a family hotel. There was even a security guard present on Friday and Saturday night and he was escorting drunk stag party members back to their room. The hotel manager asked us the following morning if we were disturbed in the middle of night from noise of the stag party. I thought that was a nice touch.
The hotel is only a 5 min walk down the hill to the beach of torrenova which is lovely.
The hill is not that bad to walk back up. People have been writing that is very steep. Its a gradual incline so that's why I didn't find it a problem and i'm certainly not the fittest!!!

Room Tip: Make sure u get a pool view as the sun will be there all afternoon

We have just returned from an absolutely fantastic holiday at The Marina Torrenova to celebrate my 50th birthday, we are already planning our return in september. This hotel is so well managed and staffed i cannot fault it. Every member of staff was so hardworking and friendly they always found time to ask if we were having a good holiday and if there was anything they could do for us. Anything you require the reception team will bend over backwards to meet your needs big thank you to Ana and the team. The accommodation was brilliant we had room 516 over looking the bay which was a fantastic view, the room was spotlessly clean with memory foam mattress, flat screen TV on the wall, fridge, safe, sofa bed, balcony furniture, bathroom with bath & shower, hair dryer, clean towels every day along with excellent maid service making the beds and cleaning for us. The cleaners worked so hard throughout the whole hotel. The restaurant manager Toni was so attentive as were the staff and chefs, the food was so good and gala night spectacular. Bar was plentiful with lovely bar staff. The assistant manager Xabi made exceptional effort every day to chat with guests which was lovely. Entertainment teams also worked hard. The location was on the hilly headland in between magaluf and palma nova which meant it was away from the wildness of magaluf. There was small 20 hour supermarket just along the road plus many other shops close by. The beautiful bay of palma nova was just a short way down the hill with its fabulous beaches. I cant wait to go back just need to go on a diet first as you cant help putting on weight here.
See you all again very soon xxx

We stayed at this Hotel from the 4th May to 11th may 2013, with our grandaughter aged 10 years,The hotel was clean and the food good most of the time ,The kids club was very good very well run There is No clearing of tables in dinning room and very limited in the bar The real problem is that this hotel is advertised as a family hotet then I must ask WHY do they book STAG and Hen parties which got so bad that on Friday 10th May while by the side of the main pool The behaviour of one stag group was unreal drunks that could not stand, shorts being removed well?the kind you might expect on a Friday nights in most town centres The hotel seemed to realize that it was getting out of hand and moved one group on arrival to another hotel this left about 60 behind. I connot understand how any hotel or tour company can mix Kids with this kind of behavior One other small point if you book the pirates night out even on captians table you WILL PAY for all BEER.

Stayed here for 4 nights beginning of May 2013. Quick stroll to beach & Magaluf Strip, but not that close that you're kept up by the music.
Very clean in all areas.
Beds are a bit to be desired, and the pillows are a bit non existent. 2 lots of 2 of my party were in the same sized room as 3 people and it was a bit crammed! Most things are extra..safety deposit, air con, remote, wi-fi access.
Dot put your door card near your phone or camera either...several times all in my party had to get new keys as the magnetic strip on the card gets wiped when placed near these items. But reception are very helpful and friendly!
All inclusive food is repetitive but plentiful and to be fair not bad at all. There was something for everyone!
Plenty of room by the pool but as our week came to an end you can see the season was kicking in as it was hard to get a bed, especially with the 7am rush for towels on beds.
All in all, good value but one thing I would say is I don't think it's our version of a 4* hotel.

Just back last night from a 4 night stay in this hotel, with my friend and our kids (aged 1 and 4) . This hotel is meant to be 4 star but I was say a great 3 star, food was the normal all inclusive standard but had no kids section open even although the hotel was very busy and had a lot of children staying? Lots of spare sun loungers so no need to get up early and reserve your beds. 3 lovely large pools all on different levels with either stairs or a path for easy use of wheelchairs/push chairs. The bottom pool great for young kids with around 4 different slides and the water was a good height for both of the kids. The only bad point about this pool is its the furthest away from the toilet for the kids and the bar. (Also there was only 1 outside toilet! So you always had to wait once you walked up from the kids pool) there was 2 different sized playgrounds. One for babies/toddlers (well shaded) and another a bit bigger. The entertainment team were nice and spoke to all the children to make them feel welcome, mini disco every night which was a must for our 2 kids. The only downfall for us with the hotel was the location, we would have preferred palma nova area and thought this hotel was on the palma nova side of torrenova but it is actually smack bam on the top of a large hill in magaluf. If you walk out the hotel and turn to the left this hill is much easier to use than walking to the right. Also there is a nice size fridge in each room, free to use which was good to store our water, yoghurts and milk for us.

Room Tip: We asked for a pool view as some rooms looked out to the main road so we had a nice view each mornin...
