“Lovely family holiday!”
Reviewed September 20, 2011

We had a fantastic 1st family holiday abroad with our 6 yr old daughter. It was so nice to see her making friends and splashing happily in the pools all day between getting herself slushies and lollies on her own!
The rooms werent palaces, but didnt spend that long in them to be fair so no problems, air con worked well and room clean with nice smell too. The food was ok, lots on offer and plently to go round. Lots to drink all day and ice lollies for the kids. I wouldnt recommend getting kettle for the room, nice coffee available all day so save your euros, but I would say get a safe though. The staff were all very friendly, in fact everyone was really nice to us there!
Hotel has great position, close to shops and the beach, didnt spend much time on beach but palma nova beach was lovely, magaluf beach not so good.
Didnt want to go home, 10 days would have been perfect!

Room Tip: High room would be quieter, also we noted rooms without pool view round the front of hotel looked gl...

Lovely hotel, great food, choice was amazing. Not suitable for couples. Very family orientated.

Room Tip: Choose a pool view. Corner room 404 away from the noise very good.

Stayed 3-17 September. For a start I would just like to say there is nothing at all wrong with this Hotel it is exactly as described brilliant if you have Kids not so much if you don't. Travelling as a couple there were a few to many for me!! as a lot of the entertainment is child based but there you go(read the hotel details properly) after all it is described as a family hotel.
The Good Points:

Very clean
Friendly Staff
Good Pool Area
Excellent al la Carte Restaurant

The Less Good Points:

Beer served in Small glasses
Entertainment not so good(except the American Comedian)
Food in restaurant ok for a week after that a bit boring
Location up a steep hill (worse from Magaluf side)

I know these complaints may be a little picky but this to me is what makes the difference between a great holiday and a good one however saying that there is nothing wrong or outstanding about this hotel hence the average rating.

My husband, 3yr old son and 11 month old baby stayed here for 10 nights 26th June 2011. first time we have been all inclusive outside of Mexico/Carriebean so didnt really know what to expect especially having two young children. Heres my review:

Arrived at hotel after trouble with airline losing the wheel off our pushchair, the hotel gave me a the use of a free pushchair when i mentioned it to the check in staff - very good :o)

i had emailed the hotel prior to our arrival asking for a high floor and quiet room, we got room 705 facing the sea, was lovely not too hot as the sun doesnt set on that side of the hotel so we could sit out on a night and watch the boats etc... without blazing sun in our faces. Other plusto this ws we couldnt hear any noise from the nighttime entertainment when we ad a few early nights with the kids (pre midnight)

Food and drink as everyone elses reports excellent breakfast, english poduce, lovely hash browns and breads, cakes and fruits etc... Lunch toasties or sandwiches, kids enjoyed the kids buffett on a night and there was speciality nights quite a few times we were there. We booked to sit in he outside restaurant Al A Carte it was good, and nice change to be waited on instead of serving yourself in the buffet. Book with Natalie the day before yuo want to eat there :o)

Kids loved the splash pool and slides, the onsite playground and Marina kids club was brill, my 3yr old loved the marina games and all the staff made such a lovely effort with him as he was so yong. ( we didnt leave him with them as there are lots of kids, we sat up and watched the games etc... they were canny) There is an indoor soft play downstairs near the restaurant what our baby enjoyed when it was too hot for him.

everyone we spoke to said theycouldnt fault the place, we booked with travel republic for 140 nights and paid £1041 which i thought was great value for money. THe food and drink was good quality, not the 5* we had in the long haul hotels we have been to but then we didnt pay for and expect that type of service but we were pleasantly suprised.

I would go back again andhave recommended this to friends who have booked up for 2012.

wish i was there again so does my son he loved the games and the friendly staff Thanks Alot Marina Torrenova :o)

Room Tip: high florr or facing the sea, very quiet on a night and rooms dont get baking hot in the mid day sun

we stayed at the hotel from 2nd -16th sept 2011 . we had a great time and would defeniately go back .
the kids entertainers were great , sally ,kasia and dana both in the day and at night . a mini disco was held every night for the children .
evening entertainment was good .shows , music , bingo , quiz
3 pools , one big one for adults , 2 pools were shallow for kids , one was a splash pool with 4 or 5 slides. one of the slides has a barrel above which fills with water which tips every so often which does fall fast so be careful if your children are very little . ours were fine aged 5 , 6 and 13 .
food was good , breakfast was best , english bacon & sausage , fried and scrambled egg tomatoes fried bread mushrooms hash brown fried potato fruit juice coffee hot chocolate fruit croissants cakes yoghurts , cereals .
there was also loads of choice for dinner and tea . snack times there is half as much to choose from but still a decent selection . at the back of the room there is a kids selection.
the a la carte restaurant is very good you can go once a week . we stayed for 2 wks so went twice . try the raw steak for starters and the veal for main .
it was just a few minutes walk into palma nova or magaluf both beaches are really nice . you cant here any noise from magaluf even though your so close to it .
we visited golf fantasia which was good . 5 and unders go free . it cost about 25euros for a family of 5 for 18 holes .
we went on the 3 beaches in palma which were all very clean .
the shops are very expensive for toiletries and confectionary .
there were plenty of sunbeds , but if you wanted a particular spot you had to be waiting at the door at 8.30 am as there was a queue , but only a small one .
if you wanted to watch the entertainment at night it was best to go for tea early so you could get a seat in the bar area . some people were reserving them before they went for tea by leaving their pushchairs there and a couple of drinks .
we had a family room which was plenty big enough . we asked for a pool view on the lower floor and that is what we got .we could here some noise from the bar area at night but nothing to keep you awake . the rooms are basic but we were hardly in there . we had a two rooms both had big built in wardrobes . you also have a washing line . the maids came every day and left clean towels and mopped the floors and made the beds . there is a laundrette down stairs , 3 euros for the washer and 2 for the dryer . in the reception area there are computers and a playstation for the older kids .
the hotel is only 20 minutes from the airport .
we would recommend this hotel to anyone with children .

Room Tip: 102 has a good pool view

Having just returned from the hotel all I can say is how excellent the hotel is. The staff cannot do enough for you. This is the best family hotel I have ever been to and highly recommended.

Having read some of the reviews before hand I thought i would make my own judgement, how right i was to do this. The rooms are basic but what more do you want when you are out all day enjoying the sun. All I want to do is have a wash and then enjoy a cold beer whilst waiting for the wife to get ready. I stayed in room 711 and it had the best view of the beach and the resort.

It is approx 5 minutes walk from the Magaluf town centre but you cant hear anything. The beach is just around the corner to.

The food is excellent, english bacon and sausage for breakfast, lunch and themed nights, best nights was Chinese and the Fish night. The presentation of the food was excellent. Book the A La Carte menu, you can visit for one night of your stay, well worthy top notch food.

The mgr Jose and staff were excellent, my daughter lost her drinks bottle inside the hotel within 24 hours the staff had found it for us. We booked pack lunches for our trip to the water park unfortunately they handed ours out to another guest by error. Jose was very annoyed that he had let us down and personally prepared us another box and a way of compensation we were greeted with a bottle of champagne on our arrival back and a free paper.

Yes the bar does get busy at time's but the average wait is about 1 minute. I am sure you wait longer at home.

The kids club is excellent and the staff are great and really look after your children and when your kids have had enough they bring them back to you.

The day time entertainers are nuts (Rueben, Alex, Sally, Kaisa, Dana) there was never a dull moment. They really make your holiday and the staff entertain all the kids all day everyday. Then at night they entertain them again. The reptile night is really good not for the faint hearted. The bird show is excellent not to be missed.

There are 3 pools 1 large for adults and 2 for the kids which are excellent. I found having a young child I was up early, whilst enjoying the views you could see the staff cleaning the pools everyday and once finished they opened the pool and you would see people running for a bed.

Now the life guard monitors who rushes out and reserves a bed for longer than a 1 hour. He simply removes your towels leaves it at reception as I saw some people getting up at 08.30 leaving a towel down then returning just before lunch. There are enough beds to go around.

Really family orientated hotel.

Room Tip: Book Rooms 705 - 712 amazing views.

stayed sept 3rd--sept 10th
on arrival we were greeted like friends by Tarek and Vincete on reception and as we have visited before when we got to our room a bottle of red and tea making equipment was sent up,but thinking that they were not ours we sent them back (doh)
with it been back to school the kids there were mainly under fives but i would like to say that the week we stayed they were all well behaved (well done to all).
the meals were on top form again with plenty of choice especially the roast dinner night, the pork/beef just melted in your mouth
can i just say there are always tables to find and on the odd occasions you havnt got a knife and fork just ask and the staff will get you them (or write a review and winge about it)
on a couple of occasions whilst enjoying the all exclusive drinks (where its a case of say when to stop) after our evening meal we watched the entertainment, both the birds of prey show and the man with the snakes were very good
all the staff from the cleaners up to the director were all friendly and pleasant so dont be afraid to ask if you need anything. we caught the bus from Palma nova to Palma for a trip to Soller (make sure you cover up when there as the locals dont like bikini tops) the train from Palma through the mountains is 17euros return a must do when staying in Majorca with stunning views
we also walked the 3 1/2 miles round the bay to Portals Nous a millionaires haven with
expensive restaurants and shops, and take time to look around the boats in the marina, taxi back was 8 euros
As we are young at heart we went out most nights and for dancing and karaoke try the Three Lions its a good laugh but thats if you can get by the many pr`s along the way
so overall another great time was had and look forward to been able to visit again
