We're not fussy as a rule, but the noise in the evenings & early hours was a little astronomical some nights.
We love the bustle & the partying etc etc but some guests were a little beyond reasonable. I'd say request a room close to reception for a bit of peace.
However, on the up sidecar had an AMAZING sea view highly recommended

Stayed at this hotel last october with my wife and two teenagers. We were self catering, the kitchen area is very basic,no cooker or microwave,or electric kettle, but kettle for hob.The rooms were clean,we had a couple of problems with broken chairs and fridge, The management had these replaced within half an hour. The views across the bay are stunning, and the have a lifeguard on duty all day, and this was in october. The place was not very busy at this time as most of the shops and restaurants were closing as it was at the end of the season.During the season it must get a bit wild as most of the doors on the apartments on the corridor looked as if they had been kicked in,Only one key per room which was not very good if you are going out in twos as my two teenagers were out at night. They could not take the key with them, as it had a key attached for the lights. You could get a spare key at reception for 20euro but had to take it back in half an hour. There was no spare key for our room? So out of bed at four in the morning to let teenagers in.If you do not mind walking the hill up to the hotel is very steep.

Room Tip: Most rooms have pool and sea view, except some studios which are at the front of the hotel looking on...

This is a late review but I assume it's still the same!

Arrived at the hotel- positioning was a bit naff. It's up the top of a really steep hill so getting back drunk (which you will be) is a complete mission unless you get a cab!

The hotel itself was a nice hotel - clean, tidy, nice pool etc.

My main problem was the people running up and down the hallways all night banging on doors and screaming after coming back from BCM and the likes. At one point we had a bloke banging on our door threatening to kill me and my mate, so we took a deep breath in and went to the door and all was resolved when he realised he's got the wrong room! "Oh... erm.... sorry boys. I thought you were someone else. Bye."

We also woke up one morning quite surprised to find that someone had taken a massive dump in our bath whilst we were sleeping. After accusing eachother of it for an hour we realised that the door didn't actually shut unless you pushed it shut. I'm 99.9% sure it wasn't us who did it!

If you want a cheap hotel that's strictly for young people on the lash- this is probably for you.

If you're a family with kids or a couple looking for a relaxing break, don't go here. Or Magaluf for that matter. Stick to Palma Nova. (I think this hotel claims to be in Palma Nova - it's clearly not).

Room Tip: Ask for a good room...?

We stayed in TRH Torrenova last June and it was fine. Bit worried after reading the reviews but we had nothing to worry about. Got there and the air con wasn't working but it was fixed straight away. The people at reception were really friendly and offered great places to eat and places to go see, also whenever we called a taxi it was there with in seconds.
The kitchen in the rooms are reaaalllly basic but its cheap enough to eat out every night if you wanted to so we didn't really use it very much.Only problem was the shower, you had to bend down and use the faucet in the bath because the shower head was strong enough to wash out the shampoo. When they say it sleeps three, one person is sleeping on a sofa but it is comfy enough anyway. The pool area was always clean and tidy, never had a problem with bugs. One tip I would give is if you want a sun lounger by the pool you have to suffer the hangover and get down early enough to put you're towel on a sunbed otherwise they are all gone.

Stayed here in October with my fella and we had a great time. Hotel is clean but a little bit dated with the furniture, good pool area and good location!

Nice supermarket across the road too that does cheap meals! I wud say its def not a family hotel as it is lively and there is lots of noise but its Magaluf people!

Me and my girlfriend stayed in the TRH Torrenova in Magaluf this year at the end of August. The room was basic but clean and we had a lovely view of the sea/coast from our balcony which also overlooked the pool area. We went self-catering and found the kitchenette to be filled with the basic things needed for light cooking. There was no kettle but there was a pan to heat up water for coffee which was fine. The hotel was just off the main strip which was good but not too far to walk to the main shops and bars, around 5 – 10 mins (if that). The hotel is definitely geared towards the younger crowd and with the doors of the hotel not being very well insulated you can hear everything that goes on outside and in neighbouring rooms. The room where we stayed unfortunately was near to where the bin men picked up the rubbish (very noisily!) every other morning but in fairness the hotel was very clean and tidy. The pool/pool area was lovely and there were showers for those, like us, who had to check out early but weren’t being picked up until later. There was also a place to store your bags after checking out which was great but I wouldn’t leave anything valuable in those bags as the receptionist handed the key to us when we came to leave without even asking who we were! Still it was handy to have as it meant we could spend our last full day at the beach. We really enjoyed our stay but wouldn’t recommend this this place to families or those looking for peace and quiet! One for those who like to stay up late and have long lie in’s! :-)
