Greeted with a polite and friendly smile on our 6th visit. Always made to feel very welcome.

Nothing is too much trouble, can't really comment on the entertainment as we don't tend to stay at the hotel, however there appears to be something going on all the while.

Food is constantly topped up and fresh orange juice is a hit at breakfast.

Could do with a few more pillows in the rooms but if you ask they will bring some to the room.

I'll be glad when I don't have to visit this place in school holidays so I can have a longer cheaper stay

Went with a friend and her two kids, had Room 14, lower level where the spa and indoor poor are situated. The suite was amazing. Two bathrooms, with great showers, huge lounge with two extra beds, kitchenette. Very clean and comfy. Spa was great at between 12 - 4 you can take kids in. Splash pool/play area is just across the car park by spa. Great for the little ones, two different depths with slides and more. Always plenty of sun beds. Main pool was rather cold. The gorgeous sandy beach 2 mins walk, the water clear and warm. Plenty of choice of restaurants, next time we would go bed and breakfast as being a coeliac the choice on the buffet in the hotel was not great, but plenty of choice "sin gluten" in local restaurants. El Moundo very good, ask for the baby squid to be done in their maize flour.....divine!! Tapas also great there too. For a supermarket, Aldi, turn right out of hotel, right at the end of the street and keep going, top of the hill turn right and you will see it. Also a fantastic craft/art shop up there called Tedi we bought some bits for the kids to do when it was raining. Also a costa coffee too! A great location, even though its on the border of Magaluf. Kids enjoyed the half hour entertainment evenings, even though it was in German. Hope the staff enjoy their winter break, as they deserve it as they worked very hard.

Room tip: 014 end of corridor, at back of hotel, nice and quiet, also down on spa and indoor pool areas.

I came here with my friend for 3 days of sunshine out of season. I always think Palmanova is a good spot for a short visit as it’s only 15 mins from the airport by taxi.

The Rosa Del Mar was perfect for our trip.

Pros

- Large one bed apartment
- Half board (Very decent, catered for small children and the adults! Evening meals: Chinese theme one night, and usual Mediterranean offering of salad, meats dishes, pasta and chips. Breakfast: catered for the British, and continental, salad, fruit, meats, eggs, cheeses, yoghurts, fresh coffee, yuk tea)
- Very clean
- Close to beach (over the road)
- Spa & shops just outside
- Poolside bar and restaurant
- Friendly staff (yay!)
- Always a sun bed available (not sure about in season tho!)
- Animation Team we’re still going strong in October, although they didn’t pester you too much during the day.

Cons

- The animation team evening entertainment was deadly. Although they tried really hard and were super nice.
- Very close to Magaluf (Although we knew this before going and actually apart venturing too far one night, it didn’t cause us any issues. Again maybe because we were out of season?)
- Only one shower room available upon check out, which you have to book in advance. I can imagine this being a problem in high season for those with late flights.
- Ten minute walk along beach to get to middle of Palmanova (not really a con but some people may think it is)

Apart from that, everything else was perfect. Thank you for having us!

Came here again for the third time, love the staff, they’re so friendly and comical, food is lovely and hot! Rooms cleaned daily and always feel looked after!
There’s plenty to do and you are central to palma and to Magaluf

Just returned home from Majorca late last night and always like to do my trip advisor bit as i use the site so much and rely on it...real people giving real opinions.

Not been to this hotel before, but will be going back. It was just me and the wife away this time, as our boys our grown up (more often than not still tag along...with partners) and just wanted a few days in the sun before the Crimbo madness.

The hotel is situated closer to the Magaluf strip than one would imagine, but this time of year there was not a single problem, and tbh...we are 53 not 93, and do like some night life. Rosa Del Mar is spotless...the girls clean all day and do a great job. Its a modern hotel, and you get that feeling that everything is new as opposed to some hotels that feel dated and worn...not this hotel in the slightest. Everything is white...Wall's, Bar. Tables, Chairs etc....everything feels new. We was in an Apartment with Breakfast and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Breakfast had everything you could want in a clean well maintained restaurant. The room was spotless, maids in every day, comfy beds, 2 rings, a fridge and a microwave....nice 4 seater eating area, tasteful decor...walk in shower....absolutely spot on.

Now here is the first wow factor......THE STAFF...we go away 3 times a year and its a long time that hotel staff have made us feel that they wanted us there, that they were grateful for our custom. Victor on arrival made us feel like V.I.P.'s...and its the same with all of them. They all smile and talk to you.

The second wow factor is the Pool Area. Lovely pool and grounds....and then you walk around the side of the hotel and it opens up to the best chill out area i have been in. Four poster beds and king size beds behind a 4 foot glass partition looking down on the main street as the area is 1 floor up..amazing. Also in this area is about 50 - 60 comfy loungers away from the pool area for anyone who wants some quiet time.

And my last wow goes to the Kiddies pool and amenities. You need to look at photos online at the mini water park structure in a separate area of the hotel. A huge turtle, fish and sea lion structure, placed in the centre of a shallow splash pool with water slides and another one adjacent with the same type of slides within a giant octopus....The kids would be content for weeks. There is also a small indoor pool in a with a few sun beds at the side...perfect if you have little ones just learning to swim. The gym is as good as it gets for a hotel. I have been using a gym for over 30 years and it suited me.

If with our Kids and Grandkids...or on our own.....if coming to Magaluf/Palmanova.....wouldnt even look at another hotel
