My mate had stayed here last summer so I knew a bit about the hotel but it was even better than she said. Really big rooms with kitchen, fridge and place to sit. balcony was good too. Its in a kinda quiet area of Magalluf and not next door to the main clubs, but that suited us better because the couple of nights we had off clubbing we had a nice quiet night hanging round the hotel and it meant you got to get some proper sleep! And it only took us about 10 minutes to walk to the busy area the other nights when we wanted to go partying. Beach gorgeous and close. Didn´t have food included but bought drinks package and it was good value and worth it. Lot´s of young friendly Brits staying here and it is a great place to stay in Magalluf.

Came away with some special friends for a H A P P Y time. This hotel was soo the right choice. Mainly full of groups and hen parties all come for the same thing. The pool is massive and the melting pot for making holiday mates. The bar gets a bit crazy make sure you send the most calm person to wait in line for one. Apartment was smart and clean we lived on toast and red bull for breakfast. The restaurant had a good display, different every night. Staff here are busy bees but try to speak perfect english if you ask for anything really sweet. Do I need to say anything about Magalluf ? Its T B E S T place I want to move there !!! Sweet xx

Hotel Martinique is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Myself and 10 friends were welcomed to magaluf by the most miserable staff members I have ever been in contact with. There was problems from the off set - apparently there was no recollection of my booking in the hotel, and the staff made no attempt to help resolve the issue.

Secondly the food was horrendous, if you fancy living off dry fish and rock solid pork then this is the place for you. We ended up eating out everyday so the all inclusive was a waste of time. To further this having one member of staff running a bar for approximately 300 people at super, with only 50 chairs to sit on clearly isn't going to run smoothly. Also your only allowed one half measured cup at a time and the drinks are limited in variety. You may also be threatened to be kicked out of the hotel for taking a small bread roll into the foyer.

Thirdly one of our rooms was robbed, yes we had a safe, and yes all the doors were locked. The maids literally leave the doors open and quite happily let anyone wander in. We immediately went reception to sort out the problem but they couldn't give a toss about the 3 mobile phones, bank cards and £1000 of euros stolen! You can also genuinely go to reception and ask for any card key, they don't ask for any form of ID! Madness!

However on a positive note, the pool was great and there's lot of friendly people of all ages constantly drunk so it makes the hotel more cheerful than the staff. The hotel is noisy at all hours of the day and night but that's what you get in a place like magaluf so that wasn't really a problem for us. It's close to the town and other attractions but I would definitely not recommend it to anyone after witnessing the attitudes of staff towards issues with the hotel.

Don't let this put you off magaluf, its a great holiday!

Pluses -
Hotel is excellent for the young and lively, had a good mix of both boys and girls which is a definite plus, and plenty of talent. Mainly groups of young people wanting a good time.
Hotel pool is nice, large and clean. We always were able to get deck chairs.
Buffet was good, nice variety of food, pizza, chips, pasta, salads, beef chicken, kept rotating things keeping us on our toes each night.
Room was good, had a security box, never had any problems with break ins or theft, ignore other senseless people posting on here, (just lock your passports, cards and extra money in the safe and lock your balcony doors you genius, its not the bloody cleaners) and we had two rooms. Zero issues. maid replenishes towels every 2-3 days.
Apartments are basic and comfortable, plenty of space and the balcony area was nice to sit in and pre-drink, little kitchen too for cooking your hangover food. Definitely one of the nicer hotels in magalluf, and Ive stayed with a few.

Negatives -
the all-inclusive bar was useless, about 20 seats, closed at 11pm and you could only get one drink at a time, glasses about half pint sized, even ordering beer of which there was only San Miguel. we ended up barely using it and buying a carryout every night sitting on the balcony. Consider this before you think you'll go all inclusive and drink in the bar all day every day.
There are ticket sellers knocking your door every single day, we ignored all knocks after a while, even forming our own coded knocks.
i would advise you if your not drunk.. its going to be noisy all night, its a young party hotel.
Security are also an issue, they were called to our room every night, and will not take messin about, (though we did deserve it) they will open your door with their own key cards. Don't mess about too much, especially with that bald git.

Room Tip: one by the pool

Went here in May and just back from second holiday! That´s how good it is! This time it was much busier and had an even better atmosphere, specially round the pool during the day. Got the full package and worth every penny though food is repetitive. Good rooms and no problems whatso ever. Clubs in Maga were packed and had an amazing time every night. Everyone at this hotel is around the same age so you feel well at home. Tip: its worth going all inclusive just for the drinks sake.

stayed here for 2 days in sept 12, The food was above average for an all inclusive and the pool area was excellent although you are only allowed 1 small cup of drink at a time which meant alot of queing plus the sunbeds were not plentiful and hard plastic

overall clenliness was good but our room was not so great, bathroom door had boot holes in it and the room looked "tired" could do with a freshen up.

The location was ok, only 5 minutes from the begining of the strip and beach but you need to pass thru Prostitute land on the way home which means you could be robbed if ur too drunk, 1 of my party had €400 pick pocketed while surrounded by a group of "whoares" so be warned

On check out day you need to be out by 10am which was early if you dont get home until 8am that morning

Overall is was an ok hotel for the price but a little overated in my opinion

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool had best views but are noisier

Came on here to read reviews of this hotel and they put me off wanting to stay here! But I don't know where most of this stuff came from! I stayed here for 2 weeks all inclusive with my boyfriend and 2 other friends. Walked into reception and the place was immaculate! When we checked in our room wasent ready but that was fine, we put our stuff away and went and sunbathed. When we got into our room it was also spotless, and massive!
At breakfast/lunch/dinner there was a lot of selection of food and was tasty and I'm one-off the fussiest eaters going! The only time there was burgers and hot dogs was at snacks!
Ok it's only 1 drink at a time and not a huge selection of alcoholic drinks but there supermarkets everywhere so it's easy enough to go and buy your own drinks and have a few in the apartment before hitting the strip!
There wasn't too much noise at night in the hotel it settled before 2 usually until the weekend when hens and stags arrived but they weren't too bad either. There was about 5 families staying here abducted quite a few elderly cupples too and they didn't have any bother either.
