This hotel has a very nice location with a great view, especially from the pool area. Also the garden suite we had was great with a absolutely lovely bathroom. However I was disappointed with the quality of the food which I had no expected based on other reviews. Breakfast was fine, however anything from lunch onwards was bland and somehow a bit 'fat', with thick sauces.

The most disappointing however was the fact that we where charged 80euro per head, including for 3 children of 4, 5 and 7, for a BBQ. Considering that we were with 13 people the total bill was outrageous of over a 1000euro for a nice but certainly not exceptional BBQ. We certainly won't be going back here considering the alternatives on Mallorca.

We loved this place. We were in the sea view chalet in January - the first people in there for over a month; the weather was gloriously sunny but still chilly and it took a day to get the rooms properly warm; we were told it would take just 20 minutes to walk to Deia which was a very serious under-estimate; the restaurant was shut; and reception seemed to close before 6. All of which were irritating. But everything else was quite wonderful - the views, the quiet, the grounds, the beds, the private terrace, the breakfasts, the helpful staff, a computer with good internet always available. We will definitely be back.

The hotel is an old building, perfectly restored. Great sea and mountain view. It's the best sunny place in Deja. In the big garden, you will find lots of romantic places. Parking is free with shadow spaces. The staff and the service is near perfect. The rooms are very different, from little to big. The matresses were special. Food for dinner and breakfast is very good. The meat comes very bloody, they don't ask, be aware. There are trails in the olive plantations to go to the village and to the port. But the port isn't nice for swimming, but a spectacular scenery with two restaurants. If you like to go swimming, there are good spots in the area, but no sandbeaches. Overall, it's the best place and worth the money.

what you see in the brochure is surpassed by the reality. arriving in the dark, we woke up in the morning being met by one of the most stunning views you can imagine. our party of 11 occupied all the suites and we stayed at the hotel for a week. the three best things of the hotel are :
. it's stunning location and view. sitting on the terrace and having breakfast or taking a sunbath at the pool, will provide with one of the best if not the best views in mallorca.
. it's faboulos breakfast, for once included in the room price and served "a la carte". everything one can wish, served promptly and friendly in the beatifull setting of the terrace.
. the secluded and private nature of the hotel. it has only 8 rooms of which 4 are suites. the best to our opinion being the 2 suites outside the main building - the garden and the opulent sea view suite. the latter with kitchen and diner.
to our opinion the garden suite is the one of choice, being private with a nice "wet" area and a beautifull situation - though lacking the direct sea view!.
the tower suite occupies 2 levels but shares the "balcony". the junior suite is nice but lacks a balcony.
the service is good, friendly and helpful in any matters.

on the negative side, one has to realize, that the restaurant is closed on sundays. being about a good 2 km from Deia, this can cause a problem if you want to dine and wine! The restaurants in Deia - see my seprate reviews - are limitted in choice, certainly if you wish to eat before childrens bedtime!!
the hotel restaurant is overrated. we experienced the food as being expensive and the portions as being too large. "more is not always better". th wine list is adequate and has a nice choice of local wines, reasonably priced.
on tuesdays the restaurant offers a BBQ in the garden. it is a spectaculair event, however at 80 euro a person overpriced. ( even our small children paid for full) the amoiunt of food was staggering and would easlily have satisfied a group twice our size. we found it an embaresment having to sent back almost half of the food .......

so all in all a very anjoyable stay, highly recommendable if you wish to have a secluded leisure stay away from the masses, or if you wish to have a nice family gathering, for young and old.

Room Tip: take the garden suite or if you wish to have lavsih accomodaton the se view suite.

We had a lovely time at Sa Pedrissa. Enric and the staff were incredibly welcoming. We felt like old friends staying at this quaint family-run estate. We stayed almost a full week for our honeymoon. Communication before and during our stay was excellent - all of the little details were taken care of. The location was perfect – just outside of the idyllic small village of Deia and close to the towns of Soller and Valldemossa. We did not have a car and they were very helpful in making sure we always were able to get where we needed to go. Furthermore, Enric gave us great suggestions for various day trips, including the hidden gem of the Can Prunera Museum. The main building is on spacious grounds with a pristine private pool, gorgeous dining terrace, and gardens complete with lemon and olive trees and friendly sheep and donkeys roaming just outside the property. There are quite a few nearby hiking trails, including a nice walk down to the Cala de Deia (an inlet with two local fishing cafes). The room was lovely with an incredible view of the mountains and sea. Turndown service each night included delicious chocolates – just another one of those personal touches that made our stay so pleasant. The food was top-notch – with fresh local ingredients prepared with style and care. When we managed to drag ourselves out of bed in the morning, the breakfast on site was excellent, filling, and full of great yummy options. There was never a reason to leave - we spent days unwinding and enjoying the Mediterranean life! All the stresses and worries of our urban lives in NYC melted away. If you are seeking a quiet relaxing place to stay away from the crowds and formality of the rest of the island (and world), this is the place. We travel extensively and Sa Pedrissa is a very special place and we are looking forward to many visits back in the coming years!

We've heard nothing but great things about Mallorca. And when my wife and I travel we prefer to stay in smaller boutique hotels. Out of all the boutique hotels we've stayed in from Sonoma to Italy, Sa Pedrissa is one of the best. First of all, you can't beat the beauty of the location. Second of all, the hotel and it's staff gets all the 'little things' right. They are friendly, curteous and helpful and they go out of their way to make your visit special. Not only is breakfast included but it's not a buffet, you order right off the large menu. We also ate dinner at the hotel 2 nights and the meals were fantastic. The traditional Mallorcan BBQ is very unique and a lot of fun. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and you certainly can't beat the view, especially from the pool deck. Our room was also very cozy. It felt like being at home with really nice furniture and quality linens. There is even a staff member that comes by your room to drop off chocolates in the afternoon.

The location of the hotel is convenient also. Only a 15-20 minute drive to Soller and about 10-15 minutes to Valldamosa. There are also some great little beaches within 5-10 minutes and the beauty on this side of the island is amazing. Think Amalfi coast of Italy without all the tour busses and traffic. Perfect.

Would we go back? Absolutely. I can't say enough good things about Sa Pedrissa.

When planning a 4-day break in Deia, it was a straight choice between Sa Pedrissa and La Residencia. We definitely made the right the choice.

Many comments have been made about this, but the location is unsurpassed in Mallorca. Views along the cooast and across to Deia are jaw-dropping. The road to Valdemossa runs close to the buildings, but it honestly was not an issue - and we like our quiet.

Very personal service from all members of staff. Nice touches like never being asked for a our room number/signature when ordering food & drinks, and thecomplimentary fruit & iced tea down at the pool. Friendly too were the resident dog (Troy) and cat (Mummy) who roam around outside.

We stayed in the Tower Suite, which had great views (i.e. the signature scene over the pool along the coast whenever you see photos of the propoerty). Furnishings are rustic but comfortable, with mod-cons like satellite TV and free Wi-Fi.

Breakfast was out on the lovely terrace, with an extensive choice. We had lunch there a few times (pasta with tomato and mushrooms was fantastic!), as well as dinner. View comment again - wonderful over the valley as the light faded and lights switched on.

Whilst check-out may be at 12 noon, provisions are made for those with later flights, including shower facilities.

Received an email from Enric a couple days after leaving thanking us for staying. Told him we will be back!

Room Tip: Rooms with views cost more, but are worth it!
