Description: Sa Cova is a traditional Chinese home-cooking restaurant, non-formal and yet elegant. We take time to cook each portion from scratch so we do encourage our clients to share dishes and to not be in a hurry! The menu includes specialties such as Cantonese Roast Duck, seaweed salad, homemade dumplings and wontons, Charsiu Chicken wings, Hoisin ribs, Cantonese stirfried noodles, Beijing Spicy noodles, Spicy eggplant, Sechuan style Shrimps, Xi-hu style fish and various Chinese stews. On Sundays during the winter there's Chinese Fondue/Hotpot, with meat, seafood and vegetables that you cook in a homemade broth. Desserts include homemade ice-cream, creme brulee and cake/pie, all freshly made by us. Tables can be reserved until 21:00hrs, for later meals it is only on a walk-in basis. Please allow at least 24hrs for email or facebook reservations. Thank you

I have travelled the world extensively and can say without a shadow of a doubt this is the best place to eat Chinese cuisine.
We now book our holidays specifically in order to eat here, last visit was in October for a small break. Three nights in Deia, 3 nights at Sa Cova.
The seaweed is to die for - heaven on earth. Not the usual deep fried cabbage we get in the UK, it is REAL seaweed with a wonderful pickled vegetables.
All of the starters (and we have tried all) are outstanding.
The main courses are again to die for, which I have tried a few though my husband has the chicken and Broccoli every time..(it is stunning).
There are no thick gluppy sauces like in the UK, no nasty additions that make you thirsty all night long.
This is Chinese food at its very best.
The ice cream again is stunning. Okay the service is slow, but that adds to an interesting night, with no rush which is unique as most busy restaurants want customers in and out.
Dress code is irrelevant, from shorts to smart this place has them all.

If you visit Deia, or this region and do not try this restaurant then you must be mad.

I only wish I could bring them back to the UK with me.

Word of warning. If you eat here you will never eat at another "Chinese" back home and say that was great food.....

Once eaten here, never forgotten.

Great restaurant run by mother and daughter. All freshly cooked to order, simple menu but the food is so delicious, reasonably priced, friendly staff and great fun, have never been disappointed yet

We love eating in Sa Cova. The homemade food is delicious and fresh. The ice creams to die for, and a small but good selection of wines are always available from their menu. We always recommend it.

This little Chinese restaurant is hidden away, in the centre of Deia. Booking is essential as it gets booked up days in advance - partly because it is small. All the food is freshly cooked to order so be prepared to wait a bit. There is a small menu (always a good sign) and every dish is beautifully cooked & full of flavour.
