This bar up some steps, opposite the village shop, has been our regular drinking spot in Deia. When you have walked up from the beach and your tongue is hanging out, this place quenches one's thirst with some of the cheapest beer in Deia. It is the hang out of "alternative" Deia, and there is often live music in the evening. It is always full of "characters" There is shady seating outside and it is always quicker to go to the bar and order rather that wait to be served. There is a new menu this year with a very ecelectic mix of dishes. We have never eaten there. We treat it as a village pub and go for the beer and people watching. Inside it is rather tired, you go here to drink and meet friends.
I hope I am painting the picture. There is a very strange hermaphrodite carving supporting the bar that leaves nothing to imagination. I do not think they have a phone. It is the complete opposite to the rest of Deia and a wonderful change.
