Room very clean and nice size. All the bits and bobs you would expect/need. Pool is great. Bar and snack prices VERY reasonable. Previous reviewer complained about bottled water at 3 euros. This is a 4 star hotel because it offers a certain level of service. Why would 3 euros be in any way odd??? Food of great quality - half board upgrade is 32 euros a head which is excellent value and definitely worth it!!! Service and staff are super. It is no wonder that so many people return again ana again. Oh and the views.....

Good hotel, great location, restaurant was of a good quality and frankly good value. Unfortunately the hotel has some bad rooms- some with only one small high window, very much like a prison window. We knew about this problem and specifically rang and checked before booking on how to avoid these windows, we were promised these rooms had good windows and views. To cut a long story short when we arrived we were given an awful room with one of these small windows. The receptionist was not bothered and made little effort to help us, hotel was full etc. we only sorted this out ourselves paying for an upgrade , getting angry, and lugging our cases from room to room , no porters to help. Bad start to the holiday. The worst part about this is the hotel knows it has bad rooms and whilst leaving found another couple in the same position just checking in .What does that say about the owners/management ?

My wife booked a short five day break in Majorca staying at this uniquely friendly hotel. It was actually in celebration of my 60th birthday but would be suitable for anyone from 20 upwards as well as families with children.

She made our usual request for the sea view, large balcony and away from the kitchens and air conditioning outlet. Our room proved to be precisely matched to our requirements. It was a beautiful, airy traditional room in which we felt quite at home. We did of course have free secure Wi-Fi, tea and coffee making facilities and a bar in the room.

The staff could not have been friendlier. The price was modest but the selection of food and drink was extensive and the breakfasts were amongst the best we have had in any hotel anywhere.

We would highly recommend this hotel and have every intention of returning because the gardens were beautiful and peaceful, the swimming pool was larger than we might have had in a far more expensive hotel and was a lovely place to swim in.

Everything about the hotel was designed to make us feel that we had had a very special time.

Room Tip: As above – sea view with large balcony/patio away from kitchens and air conditioning outlet. Upper f...

We discovered this lovely hotel 4 years ago and since then we've stayed there 2 times more. This year we have spent 5 nights there and... what to say? The staff is still as helpful and charm as always, the hotel continues being as peaceful as always, the breakfast terrace continues having the maravellous view of Deià (and the breakfast continues being as good as always). The menu included on the half board continues being as good as always and their private beach in "Sa Muleta" continues being as beautiful.
Surely we well repeat more times.

Room Tip: Take a room in the main building instead of the anexe.

This is my first review and I feel so strongly I feel the need to vent. After paying a small fortune on Expedia having read many wonderful reviews, we booked this hotel only to discover we have been allocated rooms in the attic with windows no bigger than you would get in a prison cell. The rooms are dark and dingy and the view can only be seen if you crane your neck out of the window. I wouldn't mind if we had bagged a bargain, but after paying the going rate, we expect to be treated fairly. Naturally we complained and asked to move rooms, but were told the hotel is full and if we had booked directly we would have been allocated nicer rooms. They eventually offered us other rooms, which are only marginally better, but don't represent the money we have paid. Thoroughly disappointed and have to spend the next ten days feeling cheated because we booked through Expedia. Even asked if we could pay extra for an upgrade, but apparently this is not an option. Having just arrived I can't comment on all aspects but common areas are fine and the rooms I've seen are a bit tired and dated. Guests are constantly coming and going, I'm sure they can do better than this and there's still time to change my opinion ..............will keep you updated.

Room Tip: Ask not to be in attic rooms on the 5th floor.

Fabulous hotel. Stayed for 4 nights with our son. The lobby is quite dark but then the rest of the hotel and grounds are spacious and airy. Rooms were comfortable with free WiFi and balcony. We stayed in the main building which was very convenient. Breakfast was stunning on an outdoor terrace with beautiful views over the valley and sea. The pool and bar more than made up for no nearby beach. We did visit the private cove which was lovely but we preferred to lie by the pool. The gardens are stunning with sun beds tucked away by fountains. The food and drink was excellent and very reasonably priced. There was a good vegetarian menu and they were very accommodating in providing food for my son who is a fussy eater. We did not really leave the hotel and town and would not bother with a hire car again- the roads are narrow with deep gullies at the sides. A taxi would have been cheaper.
We loved the hotel and Deia and will visit again

Room Tip: Try and stay in the main building

If you are looking for a very special holiday, look no further! This is a quality hotel with spectacular service and stunning views. A place to truly unwind.
Thank you to all of the staff at Es Moli for making our holiday so special; we could not have asked for more.
After a fantastic holiday last year at the Es Moli we decided to return with all of our family to celebrate my 50th birthday.
My family made my birthday an occasion never to forget; the hotel provided extra touches that went way beyond what I could ever expect from any hotel and really added to the enjoyment of my special birthday THANK YOU ES MOLI
We booked 3 rooms and we were delighted with all of our accommodation.
I have a gluten free diet and every effort and attention was given to me to ensure I received the correct food without any embarrassment. (Thank you to Fernando especially for organising this)
The staff here are extremely professional from the reception, the bar by the pool, the maids and restaurant staff ( We really liked Angel; his attention to detail was excellent )
We really enjoyed our evening meals and the setting for these is second to none. Sitting on the large terrace which over looks the beautiful gardens is so memorable, the food is wonderful and caters for all tastes. The staff are attentive, friendly but not intrusive.
The pool area has plenty of sunbeds and is usually tranquil and relaxed. The free bus to the cove runs regularly and offers a stunning private cove. The little town of Deia is within easy walking distance and the walk up to the church is a little challenging but well worth it to take in the views of Deia
On our last morning we had an early flight, the hotel Manager personally organised an early breakfast with coffee in our rooms, what a perfect end to a perfect holiday. We will be back for more !!
