Very disappointed in the food lots of people were complaing pigs trotters and rabbit stew for dinner afraid not for me people should be honest when reveiwing food situation!!!
Room had an ajoining door room 306 very noisy and no privacy from people next door very loud spoken television woken up at 7.30 am.
The beach was beautiful and the staff were helpful.
Do not think this hotel merits a 4 star!!!
I asked for a sea view however got side seaview.

Room Tip: Rooms with a seaview.

My wife and I have just returned from a 2 week stay in Las Arenas. The hotel is very good. The rooms are adequate and bright. Our room had a good sized balcony with views over the sea and evening sun. I would ask for a room on the upper floors as they have better view if you are the sort of person who likes to actually use the balcony.
We were on a full board basis and found the food to be of a very high standard. Good choices of fresh food was well presented. There is a bar and a large lounge area and this was very pleasant. Outdoors there is a small pool area. We didn't use this as the sea and the excellent beach are literally across the quiet road in front of the hotel. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful.
The immediate area is quiet with a pleasant bars and cafes. One of the big features is the 16 Kilometre long cycle and walking route which runs all the way from Arenal to Palma City. You can rent a bike for around €5 per day and take advantage of this. There is also good public transport. The number 15 bus stop is a few minutes from the hotel and you can get a bus into Palma to check out all the sights and shopping of the city. You can also get off at Placa de Espana where you will find the bus and rail station giving access to the whole island.

In short a very good hotel in a great location.

Room Tip: Ask for an upper floor room with a sea view. Some of the balconies are West facing and get the after...

We stayed here for 3 nights all inclusive, the reception staff were friendly when booked in and got given a wrist bracklet put on so was obvious we were all inclusive, the room was nice, the room had two single beds pushed together which was ok but would have prefered a double one as the to single ones kept pushing apart. The view was good we could see the sea when we were on the balcony. No kettle in the room which would have been good. Was clean and nice.

The pool was nice, there was a bar there which was open from about 11:30 till 18:00 but the woman kept disappearing every now and again for a few hours. There is quite a few sun beds which when we were there not all of them were taken. The food at breakfast was the same every day, the bacon could have been better as it was mainly fat, the day after first breakfast found pancakes with maple syrup which were good. For breakfast you could sit outside by the pool which was good. The staff cleaning tables and serving drinks were friendly enough. The restaurant area does get hot and there seems to be no ventilation as no windows or doors open so choose wisely where you sit otherwise you will sweat a lot. Food selection isn't great, nearly everything has no label saying what it is so you have to guess what could be and some looks very interesting in a strange way.

The main bar was ok with quite a lot of seating outside. Can get busy and you have to choose the right place to get served otherwise you won't get served for a long time while others who just arrive get served. The entertainment was ok, different activitives throughout the day which unfortunately didn't get time to join apart from seeing a show on last night which was flamenco dance thing which was good but very hot so needed drink alot to try cool down as no cooling in the place.

The hotel is close to the beach. Overall I would go back to this hotel. There is a bit of room for improvement for the staff friendliness etc. Had a good time and would recommend going here

Dear hotel guest,

We appreciate your feedback regarding your last accomodation with us. Your opinion is very important for us to improve in any of these aspects. It sounds us strange when you tell us that there is no labels at the buffet and people have to guess what it is...Usually you have daily the menu available at th restaurant main-entrance and we classify with labels all the food...it can be possible some food maybe is missing a label but if we know that, we solve it.

We look forward to seeing you again soon.

We arrived quite late but was greeted with a cold supper which we were very grateful for. Views from our room werent bad but if you get a choice get a higher up floor , we were on the first floor but still good overlooking the beach & the small arena. The beach & sea were great.
food in hotel average but im sure even a fussy eater will find something. Staff very pleasant. My biggest gripe was that the pool was so small , I was very disappointed bout the pool but at least you have the sea opposite.
Recommend hiring a bike & cycling into Palma along the coast amazing & worth everypenny. Some lovely little coves you can stop off in.
If you want to go to English bar pay a visit to the Manchester pub get a very warm welcome in there.
Aiport is prob only bout 10mins max in taxi so glad we had a taxi rather than transfers as some people we spoke to said it took over an to get there . Well worth paying for a taxi.
Would def return but prob for a short break rather than a long one .

Room Tip: Aask for a fourth floor if you lime a view

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights,we have been to Can Pastilla before so we know what the place is like.As we arrived mid morning our room wasn't ready, but we could put our luggage in the locked room provided and we could use the facillites straight away (we were all inclusive).
After dinner our room was ready,we were on the first floor. The room was clean and spacious and so was the bathroom, our room was on the side street so we got aview of the beach and marina which was lovely. The room was cleaned the short time that we were there.
Food wise there were a variety of hot and cold food,no problem with the food I ate everything and I am a fussy eater, the entertainment isn't much to write home about as this hotel is mainly for the older generation, but we both enjoyed a game of bingo which was a laugh.
The only two problems that we found was as the room was opposite the stairs you heard every bit of noise but we were not bothered about that there were only 2 plug sockets in the room but we managed.
All in all this is a great hotel with very friendly staff will definatly return to this hotel the next time that we visit Can Pastilla

Las Arenas is a very well situated hotel right on the beach . The views from this hotel are excellent, ask for a sea view room on a high floor. Rooms are modern and comfortable ,there is a fridge and TV , sorry to say you can only get 1 channel, BBC News.
We were full board , food and drink , food was great , drinks were a no no, poor quality beer, cola, wine, etc ,only thing drinkable was the coffee and water.
Entertainment was of a very poor standard , lots of bingo and shouting, hence we sat outside on a very nice veranda watching the world go by .
Hotel pool great, it is very small and the space to sit round the pool is a very small area , then again the beach is right beside hotel .
The hotel staff are excellent ,the hotel was full and the staff coped very well , the waiters in the food hall were really on the ball ,a very happy bunch of people.
The hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport and the number 15 bus leaves you at the top of the street for 3 euro. Get the bus into Palma and spend the day wandering round the old town , sit for a while and enjoy the street entertainers .
Market day is Thursday ,a bus or the small tourist train will take you there . Noticed a big difference in the market from other places in Spain things were quite expensive and the traders were not interested in bargaining.
We had a very enjoyable stay and yes I would go back ,the hotel has a few minor faults, I still enjoyed my stay there.

Room Tip: Ask for room with seaview at the front of the hotel.
