Highly recommend Son Boronat - stayed 2 nights beginning of March, ate in the restaurant as well and had the best food there we had anywhere else on the island in an 8 day trip.
Stunning house, stylishly decorated, beautiful rural location 30 minute walk outside of Calvia. Hosts are friendly and welcoming and incredibly helpful - did I mention they cook well?! Would love to return.
Only 30 minute taxi/drive from Palma airport, would make great long weekend destination as well. We hiked in the TRAMUNTANA mountains from Calvia to Soller and there are beautiful day hikes/walks not far from Son Boronat as well (get maps and trail info from Stanfords Book Shop, Covent Garden or buy in Mallorca).

The guys were great, they made my family feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Peace & tranquility in a beautiful setting. The food was very good and with an excellent choice. My family will return in the autumn and will stay there again.

We experienced attentive reliable service
In the room we enjoyed the same authentic interior as in the whole house, originality and simplicity of the former oil press combined with the hosts' personal touch - not overloaded, but offering all we needed.
The location is very priviledged. The hilly area close to the house invites for walks or mountain biking. Calvia is a 40 minutes walk. No car needed. The streets to and from Calvia is part of Mallorca's famous parcour for racing bikes, in seven minutes walking distance. Rene and Johnnie served excellent meals, thoughtfully composed, even for vegetarians, Not to forget the wood fired oven, which made the stay in February so relaxing.
The motto "our home, your hotel" was probably so convincing in reality, because R an J only want to share the very best.

We had the most amazing weekend at this lovely hotel. The minute we stepped into the cozy patio, we felt welcome. The decor and style has a genuine personal touch, and you can sense the owners' passion in every detail. From our room we had an amazing view to the nearby mountains and all the way to the ocean in the horizon. The location was just perfect for us - a cosy, rustic and romantic get-away, and still Palma is only 20 minutes away, and the beach is even closer.
The restaurant is spanish with a nordic touch, and that's a really tasty mix! The food is delicious, all homemade and even very fairly priced.
Mallorca doesn't get better than this! We're going back in August with our families and friends.

We were invited by friends this late summer to join them on a short vacation at Son Boronat. The place was truly lovely and nicely prepared, but despite this, we didn’t have a good time. The slogan “our home, your hotel” is only true for the first part. It’s the home of the owners and we often had the feeling, that we are disturbing THEIR place – although WE were the guests. “Customer is king” – this saying is definetly not part of Son Boronats philosophy!

We had the pleasure of staying at Son Boronat in September 2010. We stayed at this hotel for 6 days - and enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere, Restaurant K's wonderful food, the silence in unique surroundings and Rene, Johnny and Mies great hospitality and kindness :-)
The hotel is kept in a cozy and stylish way :-) You feel at home and you feel pampered :-)
We think the prices were definitely reasonable, especially as regards to the delicious three-course dinner we enjoyed every night – It is super cheap and 5 stars out of 5 possible :-)
We liked the breakfast concept that you can select from the menu what you want to eat just that morning, served at your table – it was really good. And is was a nice touch with today's freshly baked specialty and always fresh-squeezed juices, freshly baked bread and lots of fresh fruit :-)
We traveled from Son Boronat with our stomachs full of good food and wine - we were relaxed - we have enjoyed each other and we are confident that we will return there - back to the little paradise :-)
Thanks to Rene, Johnny and Mie. - And of course the cozy little dog Anthon ;-)

September 20-22 2010 we had a very nice stay at the Hotel Son Boronat. From the Granada room we had a beautiful view to the mountains and Calvia, close access to the garden and pool area.
The food was a mixture of spanish and northern kitchen very tasty.
The friendly and relaxed service made us feel at home.
We would recormend Hotel Son Boronat with it´s cosy atmosphere to anybody going to Mallorca.
