Totally agree with the other reviewers: this Marineland is tiny (you can walk around it in 20 minutes). Nothing exceptional to see. Only the shows are worth a visit if you really must. The parrots show is a sort of mix of Spanish and English, which makes it hard to follow, especially while you are simultaneously dodging the birds flying all around you.

The dolphins show is the real attraction and the caregivers seemed to really love the animals.

We previously went to the Marineland in Antibes (France) and it was much better, so maybe it was a bit of high expectations? Well, for the exorbitant price they ask for entrance, I was really expecting more... Very poor value for money.

The dolphin and seal show is very entertaining, you can walk around the rest of the park in half an hour and it is impossible to be able to spend a whole day here. The food and drinks are ridiculously expensive 5 euros for a burger!! Glad I went to see the dolphin and sea lion show otherwise it's a waste of time.

My wife, daughter and I visited for a day whilst on holiday. We booked our excursion through Thomson which proved to be very expensive. When you first arrive you are immediately stuck in a queue to have your photograph taken on entry with one of the park’s parrots. There is no way to by-pass this as the path is very narrow. Oh and yes if you want a copy of the photo – you have to pay €10. Once you have entered the park the first thing you notice is just how small it is. There is no way you can spend a whole day here! After a quick walk around we made our way to the very cramped aquarium to have a look at the sharks – the very small sharks! Okay it was pleasant enough but there was not much space and it was very hot in there. The sea lion/dolphin show is the star attraction – no surprise there. I must admit it was spectacular and worth the entrance fee on its own. My daughter managed to get her photograph taken touching one of the dolphins – again at a cost of €20. But it is a memory that will live with her for a lifetime. The parrot show is quite amusing but the seating is very uncomfortable (stone steps) and you are really crammed in. We ate in one of the on-site restaurants which again proved to be very expensive and not very nice. The remainder of the park is quite unremarkable, so to kill time we took a walk to the marina to admire some of the yachts and sports cars. It is worth a visit for either a morning or afternoon for the dolphin show but that is it.

Dolphin and Sealion show was truly spectacular - the rest was almost like a private zoo........we took a bus from Alcudia to Palma - spent 6 hours here - saw the show and spent most of the time at the private beach (which you have access to).......

You could safely enjoy this in a 3 hour period..............pulled bigger fish from the River Ayr than the sharks in their fishtank!

Visit for the show......nothing else........"what time is it" was the hue and cry....and that wasn't the kids!

i am 15 and i went October 2012 with my parents i kept nagging even though they were skeptical they took me and it was an amazing day out the memories will last for ever. if your planning to go book online as its cheaper and it also gives you show times etc. before you watch the dolphin show you can have your photo took with a dolphin- you put your hand above the pool and the dolphin jumps up and touches your hand with its nose and the staff take the picture. the picture costs 16 euros but its worth it as you get a frame and a booklet on all the animals. i thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to anyone.
