“good day out”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

I have taken my 4 year old daughter here twice now and she loves it. its not quite a whole day out but a good 4 to 5 hours if you fancy a change of scene. its not that cheap but when you arrive at the airport you should pick up a free map of the island which will have money off coupons. we paid approx 50 euros for 2 adults and 1 child.
The park is not that big but once inside the shows are all included, there are 3 shows and i think each is twice a day. they do a sea lion show followed by the dolphin show (which is amazing) and a parrot show.
I would recommend taking a pack lunch if possible of at least a few nibbles, there are a few places to get hot food, ice cream and drinks but the day can start to add up.
Its fine to take a buggy there no problems.
They have access directly on to a private beach.
The also have a lovely big splash pool for the kids, it has small slides and a few features. ideal to cool off and the kids love it, so make sure you take swimming costume and towel.

“Waste of a day”
Reviewed July 3, 2013

Yes you get a dolphin and sealion show but there isn't much else to see, a few parrots, a few tanks, flamingoes, lizards and that's about it, its pretty sad when it could have been much more for the €24 you pay per person to get in, don't bother folks, seriously!

“I read the reviews on trip advisor (check show times & plan your arrival around them)”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

So after reading the reviews good & bad I thought it seemed like a good idea to go as we wanted to introduce our daughters to the fish & mammals, first obstacle when we arrived was limited parking space, after securing a spot outside the car park locally we arrived for our day out! Had a voucher so helped with the high cost of tickets!!!! It was so Busy inside so busy that we were shuffling behind tonnes &
Tonnes of tourists all waiting to get a tiny glimpse of something on show! The shows were awkward times, having missed the am shows there was now a 4 hr wait until the next dolphin show! Not regular & also not enough to do at the venue for 4 hrs!! Managed to see the parrot show which was entertaining but not able to see any marineland animals as all the shows were early or late, we arrived mid day! Make sure u check times before & plan your arrival for the shows! Tiny inside & once u have walked around & seen the mammals in their tiny enclosures it kind of makes it NOT worth it & overpriced! We ended up leaving without even seeing the dolphins & sea lion shows! A disappointing day & too hot & busy for queing for a parrot show just to get our money's worth!!!

Takes about 15 mins by bus from Palma to get there using the 104 or 106 bus to magaluf which we found in the under ground bus area. Not as big as the aquarium but ample size with various parrots, turtles, reptiles, sea lions and of course dolphins. But you can only really see the dolphins when they are doing the shows which there are only 2 of so make a note of when they are: around 11 and 3.30. You can also swim with them but I'm sure that comes with a price. There is also a big fish tank with sharks and other tropical fish and a really good parrot show which again is only twice a day. Good for half a day would struggle to stay longer. Bit pricey but look out for special offer leaflets which make a difference.

“Great day out for all the family, lovely animals, very enjoyable but very pricey”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

We booked a whole day trip from no frills excursions for €41 for a return coach and entrance which turned out to be a bit long and quite expensive. There were lots of amazing animals and from an important welfare perspective they looked to have adequate space and care on the most part which is great to see, especially abroad where generally animal welfare knowledge is limited. Most of the workers we encountered in the park seemed to enjoy their job and genuinely care for the animals they were working with which was fantastic and heart warming to see. The dolphin show was fantastic and the best weve seen and weve seen a few. The trainers were great with the dolphins and sea lions and was lovely to watch them actually interacting together and getting in the pool and playing with the dolphins. A great selection of interesting animals. There was the oppertunity to use the private beach and to leave the park to see puerto nous or palma nova which was good too as it was quite a small park and really everything can be seen and enjoyed in 2-3 hours. Pictures touching the dolphins nose was €20 and they throw you about and didnt even give me a chance to open my eyes for the photo, it was very rushed for such a special experience . The photo with the parrot on the way in costs €10 euros and to eat there is also very very expensive. It was €4 for a small bag of chips and this was one of two veggie options, the other being a salad which is poor. Book dolphin encounters in advance however for €65 its not really worth sitting on the edge of a pool watching a dolphin and touching its nose. Overall its a Lovely place, lovely animals and an enjoyable day but very expensive.
