Does anyone know if there are hairdryers or iron in rooms or if available to hire?
Many thanks?
Does anyone know what time the AI for drinks finishes?
Also has the issue with break ins into the rooms and safes been resolved ok? Apparently 5 or 6 were broken into

This is one of the worst hotels to stay in. We arrived on the 11th around 12:00, we checked in and was told we had to wait until 2:00 because our room wasn’t ready. After waiting 2 hours (maybe more) we was told where our room was, keep in mind this was a wide complex with apartments all spread out, we wasn’t shown where to go. Also the reception staff are not the most welcoming, we found that they were extremely rude and at one point we noticed a child distressed in the lobby, One of the staff members asked the woman to take her child outside as they are dealing with guests checking in. This was absolutely DISGUSTING. A few days later we noticed our sheets haven’t been changed (around 3 or 4 days), we went to reception to complain and they said they will tell the cleaning staff to change them. We them noticed a few days after this that they haven’t been changed again, even though we’re here for 11 nights all together. We also noticed ants in our bathroom which we also complained about and on the second to last night, we had to sleep on the small sofa because there were ants all in the bed, again, we had to tell reception.
The food is not great, me and my friend became ill when eating the hotel food and spent so much money eating out all the time, there is not a great selection and found that some of the food was uncooked, the restaurant area was dirty, there were hardly any tables most of the time and the tables were not clean and were not set out, most of the time we had to ask for cutlery ok which they would bring it touching the tops of them. The entertainment staff are nice and they do put a lot on, they were the highlight to our holiday as they made us laugh almost everyday. I do NOT recommend this hotel.

We have just spent a week in Palia puerto del sol and it was good for the price we paid. When we arrived we checked it at reception, the overall look of the reception doesn’t give a good first impression, it could do with an update. The bedrooms are really nice as they have just been renovated. The bathrooms are really nice but could do with a good deep clean. The pool area is good with a lot of sunbeds and a big pool. There’s a children’s pool and an adults only pool aswell which are lovely. The food is alright and suits the star rating, we had a Mexican night, a Chinese night and a Spanish night which gave guests abit of variety. The lunch in the restaurant was, on the odd occasion, nicer than the evening food. The pool area provided snacks pretty much all day. It rained a couple of days during our stay and some of the snacks were moved into the chill out bar as this was sheltered, this is a nice area to have a drink. The chill out bars has lovely views overlooking the harbour. The evening entertainment provided by the animacion team was great they did a mixture of shows and were also quite comical! The animacion team were visible all day long and provided lots of entertainment and activities and got everyone involved. Tiago was amazing! We had a great time for the price we paid and got what we expected from a 3 star!

Firstly this is not a 4/5 star hotel so don’t go expecting 4/5 star standards. I traveled with my sisters and our friends as a party of 10 with Jet2holidays. This hotel has a lot of good points. Reception staff are very polite and helpful. On arrival the lady on reception showed us where to put our bags and gave us wristbands straight away so that we could go and get lunch from the restaurant while it was open. Check in was quick and easy. We were in one bedroom apartments and all of these have been completely refurbished and were excellent, we couldn’t fault these at all, even had a hospitality tray with kettle, tea and coffee etc. The location is stunning... right on the marina with amazing views. The adult only chill out bar is great with views across the marina. Bar staff on the whole were friendly, only had one occasion where one member of the bar staff was a bit rude/abrupt with a few of our party... think he was a bit stressed as it was quite a big order for 10 people but this was a one off and didn’t occur again. The local beers and spirits were excellent and you could help yourself to beer and soft drinks including tonic water, the rest was bar service, which could be a bit slow at times. The main let down with this hotel is the food. At times it was inedible, with one member of our party unable to even cut up a piece of meat as it was so tough and fatty. Not a lot of choice for vegetarians and food generally lukewarm at best and cold at worst. The food was saved by the breakfasts which were reasonably good and hot and the fresh homemade pizzas that were made in front of us in a pizza oven. It’s a testament to how good they were as no sooner had they been put out they were gone as clearly everyone realised they were the most edible thing on offer!! It begs the question of why they can produce these really good quality pizzas and the rest of it be quite poor?! The bar snacks at the main pool of hotdogs, burgers, chips and pastries etc were actually better quality than the main restaurant and we chose to eat from there most days. The main pool area isn’t swept overnight so there is a lot of plates, food and plastic glasses around and hard seeds from the trees which wasn’t great.... it was no wonder we saw a rat running in and out of the trees and bushes behind the pool!!! We nicknamed him Roland rat!! Hence we chose loungers away from the edge of the trees after that. The loungers need to be checked out as some were worse for wear and one poor lady’s lounger actually snapped in half on her while she was lay on it, sending her straight to the floor on her back!! This could have been worse for older people. The main asset to this place is the animation team, especially Tiago who was lovely and made a huge effort to make everyone smile . The team offered lots of games and activities and encouraged everyone to get involved, Tiago’s aqua gym session which he did dressed as superwoman with balloons for boobs and bum was hilarious and we had so much fun doing it. Animation staff are not afraid to jump in the pool and have fun with the guests. Thanks guys you really made our holiday!!! As a place to stay on a budget only 10 mins from beach and town for 3 nights it was bearable with the food situation and we ate out one night, would I do an all inclusive with my family there for 10 nights? No! You’d spend more eating out. On a self catering or bed and breakfast basis though I might consider it. All in all we had an enjoyable break and with some work this hotel could be 4/5 or even 5/5.

Firstly this is a 3 star hotel so I can’t review based on a 4 or 5 star hotel.

ROOMS- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️pleasantly surprised at how nice and modern they were. AC, WiFi worked, plenty of storage and clean.
SERVICE ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - average, most staff were friendly, some not as friendly as others and sometimes felt they were just waiting for the season to end so they could go home.
BAR-⭐️⭐️⭐️ good selection of drinks although waiting for a member of staff to arrive to take a drink order could take some time.
POOL- ⭐️⭐️⭐️pool was nice, plenty of sun loungers available. It could have done with a good sweep up each day as seeds from the trees collect on the ground. No staff around to take away empty cups so they seems to collect around the pool by the hundreds, this could be why there was a rat running around.
ANIMATION TEAM ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars!! They really made the holiday enjoyable. Lots of activities, they interacted with guests well brilliantly.
RESTAURANT ☹️ poor! Sometimes Undercooked, cold food with little variety, some people using the microwave to heat their food . If you’re vegetarian I really don’t know what you’d eat cutlery and plates were often dirty. Plates not cleared away from the table very quickly.
