Just returned from a lovely week at these apartments. When we arrived we were given room 21 in block B in the ground floor next to the small play park, it immediately rang alarm bells with me as had read on here that room 21 was very noisy with walls vibrating etc.. Yes if people above went to the loo in the night there was noise of the flush system, but that was all. These apartments are very well set up for younger children with small splash park and play area, if your child is over 10 I can imagine that they may get bored after a while. Great location in the middle of two beaches which are only 5 mins walk away and well worth a visit.

Would definitely recommend Gusto Italian restaurant good value quality food and between 6-7.30pm they do a kids pizza party for 6.9€ where they create there own pizza and get an ice cream and small toy. My little one really enjoyed this. Also Don Leon also lovely food. Watched a free parrot show at the Tropical gardens(just bought drinks).
All in all a great holiday

Pool great and very clean. Only downside was August crowds - they even removed towels reserving beds (rightly do !).
Animation team hard working with entertainment for kids and adults - such as volley ball & stretching.
Recommend Soabish night for dancers.
Well located - Cala d'or centre 10 minute stroll, and Caka figuira area only 5, thus has many restaurants, shops, kids games etc.

We just returned from 10 nights at these apartments. I would echo what most people have said about this place. It's good value for money especially if you book through Internet (like travel republic) instead of big tour operators. Apartments are plain and simple, but have everything you need. I requested a quiet room on top floor and that is what we were given, room 313 overlooking car park, which was quieter than if overlooking pool area or main path ways. Our 2 kids, 5 & 8 really loved the pool and splash area and the food we had in house (occasionally) was very good.
The air con was included in our booking and we had no trouble with it. We did have a problem with the toilet flush breaking but was was fixed within hours of being reported. We were surprised by how quiet the hotel was of an evening, as the kids disco was great (for them) and the Flamenco show on Spanish night was excellent!! As Cala d'Or offers a vast choice of restaurants most people spent their evenings out & about.
My top tips are:
1. Request your preferred room via email before you go.
2. Have a trip on the mini train down to the Marina early in your holiday, as you get to look around the resort and see what's there, like supermarkets, mini golf etc. we walked back from the Marina and were surprised it wasn't as far as we thought, although the mini train getting there takes about 45 mins as it goes all round the houses. The restaurants at marina are of a higher standard than near apartments and not much more expensive.
3. If you are a beach lover, go early as they get crowded (it was August though!).
I would go back to these apartments again.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet one on 3rd floor.

Just returned from our holiday in Cala D'or with our 8 and 6 year olds. Would recommend it for families as the pool area is great, main pool not too deep and plenty of sun beds. The beaches are only a five minute stroll and restaurants 10 minutes away with a good selection. The hotel staff were efficient and entertainment staff friendly. We booked flights and accommodation independently and thought it was great value for money. Would book there again if returned to this resort as in a quiet area but all amenities easily accessible!

We booked out stay through an internet travel agent and did not have to pay for air conditioning. The staff we very helpful and polite. Although the accommodation was a little on the small side, it was clean and well equipped.

We tended to use the beaches rather than the pool but, on the odd occasion we spent time there, it was very family friendly and not over crowded. I assume they save money by not providing a life guard but this is probably why the accommodation is only two star.

We had a problem with our air conditioning with a strange odour occasionally seeming to come from the system. The hotel said they could not get it serviced during our visit but did offer us a change of room ( after we'd unpacked so we didn't take up the offer).

The whole family would be very happy to return but I will be keeping an eye on reviews to ensure the smelly air conditioning does not become a regular problem.
