We enjoyed a very nice stay at this hotel with a last minute booking. The room and especially the bed, very comfortable. It has elegant furniture throughout the hotel and the oil paintings in public area wonderful. Breakfast was sumptuous with a good selection of hot and cold food, great coffes from the nespresso machine. The heated indoor pool was a delight in the chilly months and the garden pool beautiful and well attended. The services in the restaurant and everywhere else excellent and discrete. Cala d'or is a very developed tourist area, so it is lovely to have this quiet oasis in the middle of it all. We liked the many walks down to the harbors and beautiful bays nearby. Definitely recommend.

Having just stayed here for a week it is hard to find fault.
On arrival we were upgraded to a super suite with a seven foot square double bed.
The staff offer a very high standard of service at every level.
The breakfast choice will suit all including Bucks Fizz fresh juices and a wonderful selection of Cheese and meat with a Chef on hand should you require your eggs cooked.
We never eat in the main resturant in the evening or for lunch we found the choice limited and a little over priced,ie a filled baguette for 12.50 when compared to the Marina restaurant offering a three course lunch with drinks for a little more.
Would suggest a room on the first or second floor overlooking the pool.

We stayed the last week in August with our 8yr old and 5yr old Both kids still remember the hotel especially the swimming pools It's a small hotel which allows you and the staff to get to know each other I booked direct with hotel and lots of email contact before we got there We were greeted by name each time and even the kids were spoken too We had a junior suite with balcony overlooking the pool area Rm 415 Huge bed that could and did sleep all 4 of us one night!! But also a sofa bed in the living area that was opened and closed each day by the cleaning staff We were HB Dinner in room on 1st night as we arrived after restaurant was closed All provided by hotel Fantastic food and wine Kids options were good too Whilst we were there my son turned 5 Huge chocolate cake and staff to sing happy birthday!! A lovely touch
Cala D'Or itself walkable but a bit dire Beach was busy but good for kids Night time fairgrounds etc were good to walk round to burn off the evening meal calories Is good to hire a car to explore the island more
Most people who were there whilst we were had stayed previously and would return again So will we...

We have just spent 10 days at Melia Boutique Hotel in Cala D'Or and it was really excellent.
The room was clean, linen and towels changed every day, nice little touches like chocolates on pillow when maid came to turn down the bed and also covered the bedside rug with a clean cover each evening. Next day's weather forecast left in room each evening. We were staying on Bed and Breakfast deal, and the breakfast selection was excellent. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful, upon arrival they took you personally on a tour and explained everything and then showed you your accommodation and how to operate air conditioning etc. . No detail was overlooked. This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and have been travelling abroad for more than 40 years now, only wish we could take it with us on all future holidays. We have no negative comments to make and thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Cala D'Or. Jean and Ken from Chester Le Street, UK

Room Tip: Rooms with a view of the pool would be our choice.
