Our family have been here the past 5 years and unfortunately this year was a disappontment ! It just so happened that when we arrived the entertainment staff had walked out so didn't have any for a few days. Two guys got called in and they were hopeless, the younger one just couldn't be bothered and Paul did make an effort with the kids but some of his jokes were inappropriate. Seriously not much at all going on for the kids at this hotel. The entertainment room is far too small and pillars block everyone's view. The hotel has become run down and tatty, the grass needed cutting so you couldn't lie on it if sunbeds were taken and hallways also scruffy. Watch out for the marble stairs when they get wet, so dangerous!

Food is pretty good at this hotel as they do cater mainly for the British.

The location is perfect, beach is beautiful and lots of shops and restaurants. The market is good, you can walk it in about 25 mins or get the little train. There is also a fair for the kids at the top end of the beach, he makes balloon animals for the kids.

Overall. I won't be returning to Hiati but would return to Can Picafort!

Check In at Hotel was one of the most relaxing and speedy I've ever experienced. As our plane was late we arrived as they were closing the restaurant which they then kept open for us and made sure our party was finished before they cleared away. The food was good and varied. BUT if you were expecting a good variety of Spanish food it would have been disappointing. The Bar staff were superb nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment was entertaining. We enjoyed some excellent acts with differing styles of music. Elvis may not have been the best impersonator in the world but I'd give him 10 out of 10 for his ability to entertain. We had 2 well run quizes hosted a Lass from Sweden. Her English wasn't perfect but she was great fun. The entertainment area was small as was the staging but as it was toward the end of the season it was more than sufficient for our needs, May be a different story in High Season. The bedrooms weren't large but they were more than adequate.Great service my the Camereras. Clean sheets and towels, well made beds and well washed floors. We noticed that in particular because in previous hotels thick dust clung to the bottom of our slippers giving us extra carpet to walk on. Not here. Hardly any dust. I would certainly consider coming back to the Haiti.

Room Tip: We had a sea view from the balcony. The other side of the corridor had a pool view.. There was no noise other than human voices where we were.

This may not be the most luxurious hotel but my family have had a fantastic time here.
We've been here 4 times and enjoy it every time. The hotel is busy and sun beds can be an issue. But then again getting a table at night in the bar area is just as bad.
The area surrounding the hotel is great with lots of walks.
Can't wait to go back again.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool are best.

Stayed there in late September The hotel is in a great spot just 5 mins slow walk to a lovely beach. The food was very good with plenty of choice usually a different meat every day calved by the chef, help yourself to wine, water, beer and soft drinks. The rooms were cleaned every day with clean towels. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely pool but the usual towel fiasco in the mornings, but always managed to get a sunbed. Entertainment a bit hit and miss and the lounge much too small for the size of the hotel also lots of pillars restricting the view. Hotel is AI for everyone so they don't bother with wrist bands. It is a very laid back hotel with no dress code for the restaurant (Shorts and Top allowed) all in all a reasonable hotel and yes I would go back

the hotel was in a good location not a bad walk to the beach and shops. you get what you pay for the food was basic but edible the staff seemed friendly cleanliness was good the beds were rather on the small size especially if you are rather on the larger size like myself so could do with being made a bit bigger
