Very Good

I booked this hotel for myself and my two teenage daughters for a 7 night all inclusive relaxing break last week (July 2018) I knew it was a hotel which catered predominantly for German guests, and had absolutely no idea how busy it would be or whether we would enjoy this "ad hoc" last minute booking.... We had the most amazing time and we loved the room overlooking the pool. Food was good, but we have been to hotels which offered more varieties. If you like salad, fish, chicken, fruit, ice cream and pasta (who doesn't) you wont be disappointed. Staff were very polite and helpful, especially housekeeping, who were really helpful if we ever needed anything. All in all, a lovely hotel and we would return. The only downside was no evening entertainment whatsoever. I did ask and was told there would be live music one night and something another night but nothing turned up on either occasion

We are very pleased to hear that you have had an enjoyable stay with your daughters in our Diamant Aparthotel and we are grateful for you sharing this for others to read. We would also like to thank you for rating us so highly and a special thanks for recommending us to other holidaymakers. Basically we also believe that our establishment is a good place to have a quiet and relaxing holiday. Furthermore, we are located very close to the commercial area and the nightlife so for this reason we do not offer evening entertainment. The majority of our guests usually prefer to go out or to relax in the hotel. We hope this has not been a big problem for you. On a final note, we would just like to thank you once again for your visit and we hope that this will not be the last time we see you.

Nice, clean and good breakfast, but not put in an apartment

This hotel caters almost entirely to German tourists and as so as you'd expect everything is at a very high standard. The room was very clean and the aircon worked well, breakfast was especially good. There is a huge choice of food and drinks and it changes every day. Prosecco and cava are available to help yourself to every day for breakfast and one morning there was a station for making your own bloody Mary's, which was a nice touch. Lots of fresh fruit, cooked food, deli meats etc.
The main problem with this hotel that it is listed as just having apartments, with kitchen facilities, a living space, and a large balcony. When we arrived we were checked into a bedroom with only a fridge, in a separate building. This is apparently a separate hotel called junior diamant, when we asked at reception and said that we had booked an apartment in aparthotel diamant we were told that the two buildings were the same hotel. It wasn't worth kicking a fuss up over, but it was annoying as I'm sure there would be a price difference between a small room an apartment, and we had paid for the latter. I think this is worth dropping two stars.

You're right in thinking that the Aparthotel Diamant has apartments and a small annexe with rooms. For this reason it's very important for us to find out exactly what you booked for us to be able to honour this. excellent for low budget

The apartments were large and newly renovated, 2 TVs one in the living area and one in the bedroom, the balcony was large. The entire hotel including the pool area was very clean and the employees very, very courteous. Thanks for the peasant visit we had!

Room tip: we had an apartment on the first floor in the main building. For the summer time I would recommend the 3rd floor.

What a lovely surprise!

We had originally booked Alcudia, but that fell through so booked this great place. The staff were so friendly and helpful and spoke English v well. Yes, the resort is geared towards Germans but we never felt second class being English. The breakfast buffet is amazing, really fresh and extensive. Outdoor pool was nice and clean and we could always get sun loungers. Children's pool was safe too. Our room was spacious with a huge balcony. We overlooked the back street, had no problems with noise from the hotel but there was recycling at 1am. To be honest it didn't wake our 4 and 5 yr old, and we were usually up. You are within walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants, plus the beach is a 15 min walk through some lovely woods. Great location to beach hop along Cala Rajada and the surrounding areas. About 1hr 15 min drive from Palma airport. The rooms were cleaned regularly. Plenty of parking on the street for hired car. I loved this place so much, so many wonderful happy memories were made. We were made to feel so welcome. Cava for breakfast - what more could you ask for?!

Your long and detailed description will probably be very useful to other readers, especially to English travellers when it comes to your mention of nationality and atmosphere at the hotel. Although the predominant nationality actually is the German one, as you say, to us, the hotel's team, all our guests are equally important and we love them all.

To conclude, we would only like to thank you again for your mention and hope you will visit us back during your next trip to Majorca. But this time, remember to book directly with us... ;)

Okayish, not great

Went there with a couple of friends for 4 nights. We booked two rooms but the first night the hotel was overbooked, so we had to share one apartment with two sleeping on the couch. Seemed to happen more frequently. We did not get much of a compensation (apparently a better room, but not so sure about that)
Breakfast is basic. Rooms were clean and recently refurbished, but the terrace (ground floor) was facing some undergrowth, a dirt patch and walls. Overall o.k, but not great.

We thank you for commenting on your experience and the time you have spent explaining it.
We apologize if the first night you arrived at the hotel encountered an overbooking situation. This is not a normal situation in our Hotel. Almost always we control the occupation very well and usually do not occur errors like this very often. Although it is true that this summer, the Aparthotel and Hotel Diamant have been very demanded and some occasions we have had to solve issues like this. We apologize for this again.

Thank you for your comment about the stain on the wall. Immediately our maintenance service will act on it .

To finish, we just want to see you on another occasion in our Hotel , to show you the improvements made.
