We (me, my wife, and 1,5 years old doughter) stayed at Aparthotel Diamant in the middle of June.
We booked it via hotels web page, since there was a special offer 15% off for booking in advance (30 days). We were looking for something more like an apartment but with all hotel's facilities, and AD had everything, what we were looking for.
Hotel was located close to the beach (10 minutes) and close to main street of the town with a lot of bars, restaurants and shops. There is no problem to park the car if you renting one (like we did).
We had a nice and recently remodeled apartment with living room and separate bedroom. It has a little kitchenette, with microwave, fridge, all nessesery equipment.
It was very useful since we have a little baby.
The bathroom was a little bit small and could have more shelves to put towels, etc.
Apartment was clean. There was a cleaning service everyday, but only to set beds and sweep floor. We did not need more.
There were two tv sets in the aparment but with no English channels, although they were listed on the card.
Our room faced a pool area. Over the first night it was very loud, because there was a live music show in the bar. I called reception and was offered a new room the next day, but the rest of our stay was not so loud.
We choosed halfboard option with breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Food was excellent! Maybe there wasn't to much choice, but everything was fresh and tasty. We could find something even for our baby.
Pool area was very nice and clean. We used it almost every afteroon. Pool has a baby section. There was a small playground around it, but the swing was not adapted to children less than 3 years old. It would be more usefull if the seats have had a back barrier.
Almost all guests are German: young, older. Therefore it is hard to talk in English at the hotel, but despite that, the staff makes this hotel very pleasent. All the receptionists, bartenders, maids, people working in the restaurant - everyone.
Special thanks to Mr Lopez from the restaurant. He was always smiling and played with our baby.
I fully recomend Aparthotel Diamant.

We stayed here for one week in a one-room apartment. It was clean and nice, with good space for us both. My mother used the bedroom and I used the living room with sleeping couch. It had a huge balcony and a little kitchen area. Nice bathroom as well. The hotel had a really nice swimming pool and friendly staff.

My wife and I made a late booking for this hotel as we wanted to stay in Cala Ratjada in NE Majorca. It was a good choice . We had chosen to book a room with breakfast so that we could eat out in the evening ..
The room met all our requirements and had a nice little balcony which caught the sun in the evening .
Breakfast was very varied with a great choice of food. An unusual touch for us was the choice of a glass of champagne at breakfast!
Our only negative comment is that we did not have a kettle provided in our room to make tea!!

Room tip: We requested a room on the first floor with a balcony which is what we got!

Really pleasantly surprised. I read some of the negative reviews and some of them are a little worrying. However, staff were welcoming and very helpful. Yes the majority of the guests were German but they were always courteous. I really do not understand some of the more negative reviews this Aparthotel has received. The beds were comfortable and I had some of the best sleep that I have had for years. There was a large walk in shower in each apartment and each had 2 flat screen TVs. Free Wifi was a bonus as some hotels charge. The Hotel is well placed, a short walk to the nearest Beach and just a few hundred meters from a large variety of restaurants and shops. The nearby Beach is lovely and the coastline is quite stunning. We made full use of the Tennis Clay courts and whilst the pool area was lovely and tranquil we only used the outdoor pool the once as it was a little chilly (This was early April after all). The indoor pool did get a lot more use as it was very warm.
The local shops are reasonably priced but if you want bargain prices there is a Lidl and a Mercado just outside Cala Ratjada. I hired a Bike for 6 euros and it was a 5 minute cycle ride to the Lidl and Mercado. Here you could buy french sticks for 37c and a bottle of London Gin for 4.5 euros. A lot of the more touristy restaurants will charge you 5 - 8 euros for a drink so 4.5 euros for a bottle made sense.
All in all a good holiday and I will definitely consider booking this Aparthotel again.

We have never taken our children abroad they are 6 and 9 years old. we booked this hotel all inclusive so we could use the kids club and the entertainment in the evenings. On arrival we were told there was no entertainment just a radio quietly playing in the bar which you cant hear if you are sitting down on the sofas. all we could do with the kids was play cards and uno with them. they loved the pools indoor and out. The beach cala aguila was amazing and the water was warm when we went end of October ! The food was good at the hotel but it was all labelled in german and Spanish so if you cant tell what it is don't chance it as what I thought was pasta was in fact offal ! The food was plentiful and the chips were lovely and fresh cooked chicken and fish was constantly being put out. Paella was lovely and the curried rice. cocktails were included in our all inclusive which was nice. The beds were really hard. The staff speak hardly any English but are fluent in german. We went to the tourist information in cala ratjada to find out how to get anywhere. The buses are cheap and are all coaches. loved the caves of drach. If you are going to Majorca don't come to cala ratjada go to cala dor just don't come to this eastern corner as it is made for the germans no shops have any signs in English. The indoor pool was dangerous as there was a hole in the roof letting in the rain and there were numerous unsupervised german children being very stupid and not aware that there were other children in the pool. All the shops were shutting down while we were there so if you want to do something make sure you do it in the first couple of days as glass bottom boat trips finished on the Monday of our trip so did the water flume park. The beach at Cala Aguilla was amazing but Cala Gat was better for fish and snorkelling my son was so happy doing that. beautiful view of mountains and turquoise sea with nearly white sandy beaches wow. Would go back to Majorca but not that part.

Room tip: we were on the second floor and had a view of the pool which was nice.
