This was my second stay in Hotel Cala Gat so I pretty much knew what to expect, however, it still exceeded my expectations. The staff (mixture of German and Spanish) were all extremely friendly and professional. The hotel is sited about 10 minutes from the harbour up a small hill but surrounded by pine trees and with a short walk to the small and pretty beach, the walk up to the lighthouse is an ideal pre or post breakfast stroll where you are rewarded with incredible views back to Capdepera or over to Menorca. Breakfast itself is good quality with daily changing hot dishes and eating outside is absolutely idyllic. Rooms are nicely furnished and the balconies either overlook the pines or the swimming pool and more pines. We did not eat in the hotel but the menu certainly looked appetising. Ample free car-parking outside the front entrance. Only criticism would have been lack of fridge and kettle, however, I guess these are facilities perhaps more favoured by the british.More
