“Fantastic apartment in ideal location with stunning views!!”

Very nice, clean and well maintained apartment with modern facilities, air con, wifi etc in a fantastic location within 40 metres of the sea.
Stayed there from 6-22 Jul and we arrived at nearly midnight so it was good to find a bottle of water and wine in the fridge!!
Stunning views from the balcony and so accessible to all the amenities you need for a holiday including shops, bars, restaurants and of course the lovely beach. Although you are so close to everything, it was never too noisy at night as all music etc stopped before midnight.
Well worth going in to Cala Bona and Sa Coma, either side of Cala Millor, as they are also lovely places with plenty going on.
Maria is very efficient at responding to any queries both in advance of your stay and whilst you are there.
We had a fantastic holiday there and will definitely return!!
Thanks.
Sue.

Thank you for your email, the contents have been noted. However, I was extremely surprised and upset to read some of the things that were said. As soon as I received the phone call regarding the condition of the dishes in the apartment i sent the cleaner to wash them, apologizing for this situation After the cleaner came back I did not hear from you again so i presumed everything was ok, if this was not the case then it would have been better for you to contact me again.
I always try to find a solution to a problem but this can only be done if i am made aware of it. I will make further checks in the future so that people enjoy staying in the apartment as other people have before. Because I am primarily interested that my gueass would be happy, it is the most important
P.S.As for the spiders we try to make sure that they are removed but it is not easy control them and stop them from coming back. It is nature
Best wishes for you and your family!
Maria

“Perfect place to stay for young or old”
Reviewed August 30, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

I stayed here for 3 weeks in August 2016. Myself my husband and our 2 children aged 7 & 10. The apartment is small but cozy with absolutely everything you need in it. The location is PERFECT, it's literally on the border of Cala bona (to the left) and Cala millor (to the right). Cala Millor is very much German and Spanish families (very nice people, very polite) and Cala bona more English. We spent most days on Cala Millor beach, we would walk up a bit further to the lifeguard tower number 2 as it was much quieter and got to watch locals/holiday makers play volleyball. The beach up that end seemed nicer too, the sea crystal clear and the beach was just lovely. With not having a pool we went to a local waterpark in Sa coma, it's €100 for a family of 4 but you get all your food and drink all day. I wouldn't recommend for older kids as its only got 2 slides but a lovely day out and a change from the beach. Of an evening we would sit on the balcony with a bottle of wine, it was so peaceful listening to the sea (which was just beautiful, the view of the sea from the balcony was priceless). In Cala bona there was a hotel (acrobar, 5 minute walk from the apartment) which had tribute acts on which you are welcome to go to if you fancied. there is a supermarket just 5 minute walk called euroski where we done a few shops to cook tea in, it was very reasonable and had a great range. There is also a lidl further up (best to get a taxi but would only be €4 max) I would stay here again without a doubt and Maria the owner was wonderful, always on hand to answer any questions.

“Forget me never!”

Thank you so much to Maria for a wonderful stay at the 'forget me not' apartment. I was staying with my family one of whom is disabled for two weeks and the apartment was brilliant for this. There is a lift, space in the lobby area to park wheel chairs, close parking and a disabled beach (one of only two on the whole of the island) 7 minutes walk away. Maria was a fabulous and very efficient host always responding to emails very quickly and sending a friend to let us into the apartment when we arrived despite the late hour. She even allowed us to stay until 6pm on our leaving date as we would have been stranded with no where to go without this.

The apartment has everything you could need and seemed clean and spacious. I loved the cute funky style with international themed decor. The location couldn't be better, half way between the lovely beach of Calla Millor and the pretty harbour for evening strolls to Calla Bonna. The view from the apartments balcony where we sat each morning for breakfast was one of my favourite views on the island. It was truly a fantastic stay and none of us wanted to leave. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when I'm next travelling back to lovely Majorca!

“Great appartment”
Reviewed July 20, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Good communication from owner replied to emails quickly. Her english was not great but we got by enough to understand one another.
The apartment was great good sized. lovely new shower room, very clean & recently refurbished. All appliances new & easy to use. Also good sized fridge freezer for food storage & water.
Appartment has 1 bedroom with double bed & patio doors opening onto balcony. The appartment also has another double bed but it is not in a separate room, it is in the entrance area it has a wall that separates it from the entrance & there is a wall that separates off the kitchen area so it is part of the entrance hall & living area but it is does also feel separate. It was fine for us my husband & i slept in the main bedroom & our 15yr old son slept on the double bed & our 13yr old son slept on the settee.
The appartment also has patio doors opening from the living room onto the same balcony as bedroom, so a nice sized balcony. The balcony faces east so nice & cool after lunch.
From balcony you can see the sea & watch the people walk by on the promenade but it is set back up the street slightly. Which makes it quieter for sleeping.
We did use the pick up service the owner offered there was some confusion as owner said look out for lady with long blonde curly hair but it was medium length & she was a German lady & we were expecting someone who looked Spanish. Unfortunately she didnt speak any English but we got by with signs. She did take us to a big supermarket on the way to the apartment & we were able to get some immediately needed supplies & it was cheaper.
The apartment was 1hr from airport.
Take insect repellent for evening as we got bitten without even realising it when out walking around.
Apartment was a few minutes walk to the actual beach, beach & sea very clean, lots of places to eat & a supermarket if you turned left from the apartment up that street about 600m & it was cheaper than the supermarkets on the sea front, & it stocked a good range of things. There is a small lift to apartment as well as stairs.

Liked best: Apartment & balcony & quite position but also very close at hand to everything.
Liked least: Air- con very noisy & it was a machine in the apartment so the pipe behind machine got really hot & warmed up the room. If it was a breezy night it was ok as we could open enough windows to get it cool. They did also have a stand up fan.

“Excellent Apartment Value for money - Great Location”

A very large apartment with great sea views! Lovely large balcony. The owner Maria is under selling this apartment. The photos do not do justice for this apartment, it is in excellent condition. There is a separate utility area which contains a sink, to was out your sandy clothes and a washing machine. The oven looks brand new, the kitchen is excellent. We sat and people watched every evening as they walked along the promenade. This is a very quite apartment. Restaurants are very close by. The owner Maria is very very helpful. We would return to this apartment and highly recommend this. 10minute walk to Cala Bona harbour is a lovely stroll in the evening. Supermarkets are cheap. You can watch the sunrise from the balcony looking out to sea, it is superb! You will not be disappointed with this apartment. You also have a car parking space.

“A home from home - by the sea and with lovely views.”

I wrote this on the balcony of Forget Me Not, mainly because I feel the listing for the apartment doesn't do it justice.

Forget Me Not is a second-floor apartment with a balcony and sea views. It has a full sized dishwasher, oven and washing machine and I was pleased to find it also has its own free broadband connection even though the listing doesn't say so. Login details are on the underside of the router if you come and stay here.

What's missing from the photos is the open plan area when you enter the apartment. This area gives the place a spacious feel and has the second double bed in it. So, if like me, you were wondering why a one bed apartment had photos of two beds, now you know! To give an idea of the size of the apartment, if you look at the photo of the living area with the TV and the dining table, that is about 1/4 of the floor space.

The doors from the bedroom and the living room open out next to each other onto the balcony which has a 90 degree field of vision view of the sea and is ideal for people-watching as they wander along the promenade.

It's in a comparatively quiet location and a 2 minute walk from a cheaper, less touristy, supermarket (head straight inland). There are lots of restaurants nearby and the beaches are good too.

It's about 27C at bedtime (August) which is pretty warm but with windows / patio doors on three sides of the building you can get a nice through breeze. There's a fan in the bedroom which we have used and also a stand alone air conditioning unit which we haven't needed.

We arranged with the owner to be picked up at the airport so we didn't have to worry about finding the place when we arrived in the resort and we arranged airport drop-off with her as well at the end of the holiday - so one less hassle to worry about.

The apartment has its own designated parking space in a courtyard out the back and we found a car hire company nearby that rented us a bit of a banger (320,000 km on the clock) for 28€ a day.
Overall, a great apartment which has made our holiday very comfortable, and we plan to return.
