we stayed at the morito aug 2011 2 adults 2 kiids (10 & 11) we had a family room with pool view which was basic but had everything we needed for are stay no kitchenette just a fridge there was a nice size balcony maids cleaned & changed towels daily.the pool was bit on the small side but was never full so are kids just played in all day plenty of sunloungers & no putting towels down at 7am.food was ok plenty of variety am not a fussy eater so ate most things deserts were fab the wife & kids just picked at things but thats the all inc bar served did burger & chips & ham toasties when restuarant wasn,t open which the kids lived on.on downfall of this hotel was it was 98% german/swedish but this didn,t bother us they stiil friendly beach 5 min walk shops 2 min walk.night entertainment was all in german but again didn,t bother us as we went out every night plenty english bars local (british bulldog) great night . will defo stay again great value for money

Room Tip: try for pool/sea view room

What a beautiful hotel ! So welcoming , so clean, such friendly staff ! They made our holiday truly enjoyable. We have recommended this hotel many times since our return and hope to visit again sometime soon as we also love Cala Millor .

Stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in June/Jult 2011 with my daughter (16).
Our room was a basic hotel room with a noisy fridge. Bathroom seemed to be recently upgraded and was really nice.

Pool area ok, but could definitely do with a makeover and new sunbeds.

The food at dinner and lunch was terrible. Little to choose from and either quite tasteless or over-salted. However... the staff at this hotel made up for the bad food - many times! I've never ever met a more friendly, happy and professional staff. They made our stay a really, really nice one.

Evening entertainment (3 or 4 times a week) was usually a duo playing terrible German and Spanish hits, so don't come for the entertainment!

Wifi was down for most of our stay and the internet was down for a week as well (stationary pc where you can surf 15 min. for 1 euro).

Despite terrible food and entertainment, basic room and trouble with wifi/internet, I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel for families. The location is excellent. Close to the beach and the city centre, the rooms satisfy basic needs and the staff is one of a kind!

For solo travellers I would recommend staying at the Cala Millor Garden instead (only adults allowed here).

My mum & I stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it!
Never met friendlier staff, excellent service, room was clean, beautiful pool & sea view.
Only one minor issue is the food is quite repetitive and i cannot eat pork due to dietary requirements, so ventured out to one of many burger kings in the town twice.Other than that, 10/10, excellent value for 3 star!

Morito all the way!

We booked a late deal for 4 nights, we found the staff were very helpful and the hotel was very clean and tidy. we were surprised that as it was a short stay the rooms were cleaned every day with the sheets & towels changed. We booked half board, breakfast was good, the evening meal ok for a 3 star hotel ( some strange combinations ) the hotel is perfectly placed with 2 mins. to the shops & 4 mins. to the beach. overall is was ideal for a short stay but I would not like to have the evening meal for 2 weeks.
