Stayed here for the very last week of the season just before the hotel closed and could not fault it one little bit. The location is excellent, right on the beach front with a lovely promenade that you can cycle or walk on for miles.

The food was fantastic with a great choice every day and all the hotel staff were friendly and helpfull.

A large outdoor pool but being October it was a little bit cold so the kids played all day in the indoor heated pool.

Evening entertainment was great. A mini disco for the kids followed by the Jacksons tribute band which were probably one of the best acts i´ve seen in any hotel i´ve stayed at.

Excellent hotel, can´t wait to return and would highly recommend!!!

stayed at this Hotel 2012 and had good holiday, returned on the 10th of September 2013 to find the hotel now had a policy of overbooking rooms to keep it 100% booked. We arrived at 14:30 to find the hotel did not have a double room for us even though the holiday had been booked in Jan 2013. We had to transfer to the next resort for a night and return the next morning at 10am to check in, We lost a days holiday with moving, unpacking/packing then unpacking in the Sumba. In the 10 days we stayed at this hotel customers were sent away each day inculding some elderly very upset pensoners. It was one of the main topics in the dining room. Our JET 2 rep told us it had been happening for a number of weeks, i will not be returning to this hotel or any other owned by this hotel chain

I spent 7 nights in hotel. The location is very nice, beach very clean, white sand and clean blue sea. Bed on the beach is for 4 Euro. The room is nice. Wifi is free, but a paid a wifi in the room for 25,- Euro/stay. It was fast with no failure. As a czech citizen appreciate a czech channel on TV. I loved this hotel, so my next vacation in summer I spend in Mallorca again.

Room Tip: I got a room in 2nd floor. The room is smaller but very nice, I was satisfied. There is a small frid...

Stayed here last year and have just booked again. Can't wait to get there as it is a fab hotel with great food, in a great location. The rooms are very clean and the general appearance of the hotel is spotless. Hired bikes on our stay and the hotel provided security for them which they didn't have to, nothing seemed too much trouble. Great to see different nationalities present, especially Germans as they tend to have very well behaved off-spring and a refreshing lack of tattoos, cellulite, beer bellies, swearing, feeling the need to shout 'Get e're now' every 10 seconds etc. We generally celebrate the presence of Germans as it means we are likely to get a more peaceful holiday, they can take the sunloungers, we like the surf.

What a lovely hotel - it was refurbished about 18 months ago, so everything looks very modern - including the fabulous high-pressure walk-in shower in the bathroom! The evening meals were ok but a bit repetitve, but the choices at breakfast were fantastic! The outdoor pool area is large, so there are plenty of sunbeds and there is also a good indoor pool with jacuzzi and sauna and a gym, with lovely views. The hotel is built at right angles to the beach, so all rooms have a sea view - the pool side gets the sun during the day, and the other side gets the sun on an evening. The guests were over the whole age range, and predominantly German whilst we were there, although this generally means a good standard of hotel.

The evening entertainment seemed to be the usual rubbish - a lot of it geared towards the German clientele. However, we did enjoy the modern style flamenco show.

The downside was the hire of the safe, which was situated in the bedroom - 28 euros for a week, or 7.5 euros for a day!! Plus 10 euros deposit!!

The hotel is situated at the quiet end of Cala Millor, about 15 minutes walk to the centre. It is very flat, so easy for walking. There are plenty of bike hire shops, and there are cycle lanes all along the promenade for miles. The bus service runs every half an hour, and the stop is just outside the hotel.

Overall hotel, staff and entire holiday most enjoyable. Clean, efficient management.Plentiful but a bit repetitive food - otherwise good quality. Special award to Jouri on the entertainment team for his stalwart efforts. Happy to recommend this hotel for a break in the quieter part of Cala Millor. For people who like a stroll this is an excellent resort. Would go again.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view if you want sun on the balcony during the day.

This was the first time that we have had a winter sun holiday and we booked 2 days before departure as a last minute package deal, staying at the Sumba. we could not have chosen better if we had researched it for months. The Easter period in England was very snowy and so it was a welcome surprise to sit out in the sun and actually get a sun tan. Everyone in the hotel was friendly, helpful and smiling. The staff could not do enough to help and accommodate you. The animation team were fantastic and even thought we travelled without children I would not hesitate to bring my grandchildren on our next visit. The adult entertainment was only average but not unbearable. Everyone was encouraged to join in with the fun, both adults and children, but NOT pressurised. On the Easter Thursday the hotel was full to maximum capacity and there was no drop in the service provided what so ever. The staff worked really hard to maintain standards. Rooms were cleaned daily, beds made and towels changed. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the restaurant was fantastic. There was a choice on the menu for everyone and all nationalities were catered for. The chefs manned their stations constantly and food was replenished throughout service. Presentation was great and the tables were cleared promptly between each course. There were also themed evenings and foods. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as it caters for all ages and all cultures to provide a fantastic hotel in a great location! See you all next winter.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool also have sea views-
