“A delicious find!!”
Reviewed October 24, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I decided to give this place a try after reading about it on tripadvisor. We already had a terrible meal at the 'bliss' cafe next door to this polish restaurant so we wanted to make sure we made the right choice - which we did! The service and decor are both lovely but it's really the food that is fab. We had the spicy sausage with fried onions and also meat dumplings with a side of garlic bread and french fries. All four were lovely - in particular the sausage and dumplings were delicious. With four drinks, two mains, two sides, a coffee and two deserts we couldn't believe it that our bill came to just €33. By far the best value and tastiest food we've had so far. We are looking forward to coming back tomorrow!

“Friglianian finest.”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

I first came here five years ago and now returned delighted to find the same owners were still there and loving it. I think I just had a drink five years ago but we had just a couple of tapas. Both were excellent. The fried mushrooms were properly home-made as was the garlic dip with fresh herbs.
The meatballs likewise. It's hard to make albondigas (the meatballs) wrong, but much harder to make them that right. The mushroom rather than tomato sauce was a refreshing and nicely different change.
We hadn't even gone there wanting to eat and left sad that we couldn't try more.
We would return to watch the sunset here and order the six tapas for 9E-ish. Probably, in truth, order 12 and have six each.
The polish spin on tapas works extremely well.

“The Tapas is really nice”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

We really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. We ordered the Tapas and I have to say that it was a mixture of Spanish with a definite Polish twist. There was a choice of around 15 dishes and we found that 8 dishes was more then enough.
At around 2 euros per dish or 9 euros for 6 dishes (including bread) we certainly felt that we were getting good value for money

Would we return absolutely it is good value for money and different to many of the other restaurants and bars in the village

“Lovely staff - excellent food”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

Spanish and polish food with a Spanish twist - excellent value and attentive staff.
There tapas can be a mixture of Spanish and polish (with a twist) but really tasty and needn't be spicy.

We had a Polish slant on Tapas. It was lovely, fresh and tasty. The service was quick, efficient and friendly. Highly recommended.
