Two seperate places but worth doing both in one day.
We bought tickets to the museum at 4 euros each.We were then told that they gave us entry to the bull ring too,so well worth it.
The museum was only one room but it did have quite a bit of memorabilia and info in.There are several conquests fixed to the walls and lots of data relating to various matadors etc.
The museum is at the start of the cafes by the taxi cab rank.
The bull ring is at the top of the village, after all of the shops,Well signed and easy to find.
Although it is a small ring you get idea of how things would be in the larger ones.
You can sit and imagine the atmosphere of a fight and then take a look at were the bulls are kept waiting.
Although bull fighting isn't our thing it was still an interesting place to visit.

We made inquiries with our very helpfull thompsons rep .as to which was the way to get to mijas from our hotel in torremolinos and she gave us direction to the local bus stop .For 1.60euros each we had a 50 minute trip up through some fantastic scenery up to the village. The village had enlarged a bit since we were last time and the downside of our trip was the amount of traffic passing through the narrow streets. The donkeys are still there and they looked in better condition now than our last visit. The leather shops are still popular but do barter. We ate at a small cafe beside the ancient church away from the car fumes and found it a bit pricey for a simple sandwich 5 euros ,but they have a captive clientel up there.Overall we enjoyed our trip and would revisit.

went on a two hour bus excursion here, high up in the mountains this village shows the true beauty of the area, plenty to see and do. Donkey taxi's and horse and carriage trips are a great way to see the village if you are stretched for time.if possible you should try and spend the day here. there are plenty of bars and restaurants with the usual gift shops thrown in too.To stand on the band stand area where all the busses park and look out over the entire area is very calming to the soul.i didnt see any hotels but i presume there are some around

A party of 4 from our hotel sol aloha puerto toramalinos. We took local bus cost €1.60 pp journey time about 30mins. What a beautiful village, so glad we went. Village is up in the hills with stunning views, little quaint streets, loads of chafes & restraunts . Would recommend a visit here & would definitely go back next time I'm in toramalinos, infact next time we would probably book in for overnight stay. This place is a must to visit & so ways to get there without paying overpriced trips from hotel.
